With his mother and father's blessings, young Yggdrasil was on the path to find his place in this world. His father had pointed him in the direction of Sacae when he had left saying that it was the better direction to travel as to avoid the war in Bern. It didn't take long for the young man to reach what appeared to be a large field. That was how he was to know that he made it. The eyes of Iggy lit up like candles gazing upon the world before him. He now had the ability to go anywhere and do anything, but that left him with a question what was he supposed to do? Iggy performed a quick check of his person to make sure he didn't forget anything. Deep down he had wished he did miss something so he could go back to the family he had relied upon for so long to ask for direction. If he went back now, would he ever really be able to go on with life? The questions were polluting his simple way of thinking and doubt coursed through him, but he told himself he'd come home with a story so he was to do it. Looking out into the field he was going to continue on his path.
What felt like days passed by him while he drudged on through the plains. There was little shade to find in between the trees and his mind was slowly starting to ease itself. Yggdrasil looked up at the sky and remembered that he actually had not been traveling all that long and he felt he was making great time. The grass was green and the occasional breeze made it worth the time to move. The make shift staff had quickly became a walking stick to aid in his travels, but he had not seen anyone as of yet to ask for a form of direction. That was until he heard the sounds of what appeared to be a simple man walking near by.
Excitement reigned over the lad as he held his cane above the ground and started a run towards the wanderer yelling out to him, "Hey! Sir! Please wait! Sir!" His voice did not fall on deaf ears and the man he was chasing came to a gradual halt and looked to see Yiggy sprinting toward him. After finally getting in talking distance, Yiggy stopped and looked at him with eerily innocent eyes. The wanderer was taken back by what he had seen, "What do you need boy?" He asked him still not trusting the young wannabe adventurer.
"Sir, which way to the nearest city? I am lost and I could use the help..." Yiggy was pleading with the stranger and the stranger couldn't help but want to take full advantage of him. "I can help you, but it will cost you a few gold coins. I need to make a living too and can't be handing out information for free." "All I have is some herbal medicines my mom gave me... will that work?" Yiggy began to dig in his bag to find something to offer him showing off a few medicines that would catch a pretty good price in the cities. Looking into the bag as well, the wanderer saw the gold mine and gave a false frown to the boy. "You don't have much, but I will take what you have. That will cover my fee, these won't go for much in the cities." Holding out his hand for the bag, he didn't think anyone was foolish enough fall for this. But this man clearly had not met Yggdrasil as in moments the bag was in his hand. " Seriously... this information is that important to you eh? Head further north. The there is the city of Bulgar there." With a single point in the direction, the wanderer headed off further east. Still in surprise that he had gotten everything he had asked for.
Yggdrasil with a new sense of direction started to run off without a care not realizing that within the first day of his adventure, he had been ripped off by a random stranger.

Gavin felt himself at ease. The soft caress of the wind brushing at his messy golden bangs and brushing the green fine threads of grass in a way that gave the landscape a rolling look. Like washing tides of the sea rising and falling, making the green hills look to be in motion. The young hunter had been treading through Sacae for a few days at that point. Still reminiscing on his grandfather's descriptions and words as to the world he would see, he wasn't disappointing. The tails of his olive green traveling coat trailed behind him as he strode through the field. His boots quietly kicking tufts of dirt beneath him let out a constant sound to break the silence he would've otherwise heard. Already slumbering despite the time of die, Astor rested upon his shoulder with talons lodged into the hardened leather pauldron that the Goshawk had taken for a perch. He was grateful it wasn't excessively cold. He could've kept his hood up if it had been, but when standing within the presence of sights like what Sacae could offer; he'd sooner have full range of vision.
The boy's quiver jingled with the wooden ring of arrows clunking against one another, his bow tied to his back firmly so that it did not fall nor get caught on an out-reaching object. His hazel gaze came to rest soon upon that of another person moving through the field. He lifted one hand behind his head to rub the back of his neck, the course texture of the leather glove still easing the annoying itch. Did he want to call out to the younger boy? He...admittedly didn't know how best to go about discussing things within larger towns..and he'd have to head to one soon enough.
With a hand inclined into the air, he beckoned to the boy. "Excuse me. Are you planning to head for any towns? I'm some what lost..."
Ah..well..that was about his best attempt he would manage. However him speaking up suddenly woke up his avian companion. Astor suddenly let out a squawk as he shifted on the hunters shoulder. The bird's eyes eased open as it swiveled its head with a single large black eye fixating on the boy they were approaching. As if the hawk was deciding what to make of him. where as Gavin didn't know what to make of him but, more of having not actually met or knowing anything about him. Expected.

The only thing on this young man’s mind was that there was a city in his path. Despite that he was sprinting, the only real sound was the light jostling of his clothes. But this excitement was easily over taken by another. Yiggy had caught onto an amazing idea in these new lands. It meant he could try and make new medicines and that was something that greatly interested him. Both of his feet gradually came to a halt from the sprint. Even if he wasn’t going that fast, the young boy was still a bit winded from moving in such a way. His dark brown eyes scanned over field noticing even the smallest of flowers and the slight differences in grasses. Moving down onto all fours, his perception would be better for the haul. Everything would be taken in groups of threes so a few mistakes could be made. Dirt was starting to cake Yiggy’s fingers as he dug up so many different plants root and all. The only question that hit him was where was he to put all of this. Yggdrasil had given the nice man the bag to help him carry the herbs. But if he was holding these, how was he going to hold his staff. Having been perplexed by his own dilemma he moved up to his knees and stared at all of the flowers in his hands. Until he heard it, a voice from the heavens!
“Hello Spirit of Sacae! I do know where a town is and I’m heading to it now! I appreciate you asking!” It was beyond reason why he was yelling into the sky as the voice had clearly come from behind him. Those eyes of his, gleaming with excitement, stared into the sky waiting for its next message. How blessed was he to have even these great fields looking out for him. But it was a little bit odd for him to say he was lost. No reason to sweat the small stuff though and he continued to wait for a response patiently. “Great Spirit! Watch over me on this journey!” Standing up with the plants, he looked down at the staff still wondering. That was until he saw another passerby. This one looked just as nice as the last gentlemen. Lifting his hand, he waved towards Gavin and dropped his plants falling down to pick them up again. “Shoot!” he exclaimed. What he needed was a bag, should have packed two for this trip. It had not donned on him yet that Gavin was the one that asked the question.

Rixsch stood on the open plains, the light wind causing his long hair to flow behind him, almost like a cape. He breathed in and sighed "y'know, this place is rather peaceful. I think I'll come back here at some point."
He looked around "if only I had a Sacaen map I could mark it onto..." He muttered, a drop of sweat rolling down the back of his head. "Oh well, I'll find my way to Bulgar without some dumb map!" Rixsch spoke before beginning to walk again. This was when he noticed, in the distance, a young boy, with a man that was a few meters from the boy. "See? What did I tell you, Rixsch. Have a little faith."
Rixsch walked closer to the two, waving his arm in the air "hey! Are either of you going to Bulgar? I would love some directions!"

Still riding high on her victory in Ashe, Jule thought it best to leave Bulgar behind and travel back to Lycia. She'd found some new friends, new clothes, and a new line of work. There was one thing however, that she just couldn't find; her way out of this big darn plain! To think that the thief had been on the road only hours prior, and now here she was, somewhere... off the road. How'd that happen? Jule scratched her head and turned this way and that. Just grass and trees and grass and mountains and grass and grass and dirt, as far as the eye can see. The girl kicked at the ground a bit and pouted. "Phooey."
Nothing else to help her but to keep on walking, she supposed.
On and on Jule walked, with nothing so much as a landmark to guide the way. This place was just the worst. Santaruz was up there, but at least its maize fields didn't go on for literally ever. Maybe it would be worth going back to Bulgar and regrouping for a day or s- "No, Jule. you're better than that! I'm sure I'll find the road again if I keep on looking. Plus I've got..." Jule tried to recount all the stuff she had floating around on her person. There wasn't exactly any other thieves out in this neck of the woods(plains?), but it was good talking to herself; A Jule alone with her thoughts was a dangerous Jule, and Gaea knew she needed all the company she could get.
"Let's see here," the girl paused to dump all of her stuff from her person onto the grass. "I've goooot... all the food I need, some water and a map, and my sword, an'... wait a tick." A map? Jule gasped. "A map. I've got. A map? I've got a map!!" Could she even read maps? Whatever, didn't matter. Now that she had a map she was all set. Jule ripped the ribbon tying the parchment closed right off and unfurled the map.
The great big smile that was beaming on her face fell off and shattered into a million pieces. She had a map, alright. Of some Lycia territory. "Arrrgh, why do I even still have you?!" A frustrated squeal escaped her lips as Jule crumpled the paper up and shoved it back into her bag. "Think you're so funny, dontcha, map? I'll show you! I don't need no stinkin' map to find my way outta here anyway." Jule collapsed on top of her things, grumbling. No map, no sense of direction, no nothin'.
As if Gaea had been waiting for this moment all day, the winds sighed across the plains, and with it came a voice from on high(or downwind, at least). "Hello Spirit of Sacae! I do know where a town is and I'm heading to it now!" The little swordswoman shot up. Well, mmmaybe she had the wind on her side.
A silhouette of a person called to her from far away, beckoning. And they had company! Frantically Jule stood and tried to cram all her stuff into her bag. It was a lot harder to do with her hands shaking from excitement than when she had packed it before. She glanced over her shoulder once, twice; two silhouettes had joined the one that had called to her. Jule barely made sure to check that her sheathe was fastened before bounding off across the plains.
"HOOOOOLD UUPPPPP, WAIT FOR MEE!"

So...the kid was thanking a spirit? He..didn't see anything. Maybe he could see spirits? Was that..a thing? Did people have that ability? He couldn't be sure. Gavin risked a glance at Astor, hoping that the young concentration of crazy standing a few feet from him wouldn't like..spontaneously combust or anything. Though, to be fair..this was why he didn't like dealing with others. The golden haired ranger shifted his hand to his other hip and reflexively lifted his left hand to comb through the messy blonde locks of hair he sported. He almost felt like tugging his olive green hood back over his head and hiding his face. That was likely not the best thing to do though, nor kindest. As the boy waved to him, Gavin tried to think up a response. Saved in this eventuality, in actuality, by the sudden approach of another male. Gavin's gaze briefly narrowed as he shrewdly examined the stranger. His distrust of others still lingering a bit evidently. Either way he opted to ignore the internal suggestion that he say nothing at all by quietly speaking up. "I have no idea. I was just asking him that."
He inclined his head towards the waving boy. He lifted his arms and crossed them over his chest as he heard another voice. A dark haired girl was now approaching what had quickly turned into a crowd. The boy felt the urge to fall quiet rising just above that of wandering Sacae blindly until either he found a town or starved to death. Either of which was vastly more appealing than lingering within the dark stygian abyss that was group dynamics to him. Then again..it wasn't like he was trying to understand infinity, or learn eternity. He was just, trying to coexist for a conversation within a group. Wouldn't be too awful right? Gavin figured maybe it'd be best to get a pace going? The boy had been facing a direction originally as if intended to walk there so..maybe if they walked that way? The blonde haired ranger took a few steps and spoke up to the younger boy.
"Er...you were going this way right?"
There. That wasn't so hard. Now..to say something to the other two.
Cogs turned. The small gerbil within his mind raced along it's endless pathing and wheel for ideas. Yup. Nothing. He was starting to begin he'd rather attempt to gain knowledge of the forever. Oh well. One step at a time. One question at a time. They'd find civilization eventually.
