Kenji Shinohara left his home in Larguz to go explore around. He didn't really have an eye for adventure, but since he had so much on his to-do list before making it into the Wyvern Rider academy in his goal to become a Dragon Knight, he decided that relieving the stress of fulfilling would be best at the moment.
Kenji stepped out the oak wood door, with nothing but some casual clothes on him and an Iron Lance. He was broke and spent all of the money his parents gave him last week. Kenji couldn't be trusted with money, he was well-known in the house for wasting it on useless materials to add to his little 'collection' of junk. He never even bothered to use it. But, oh well. He was only 14, and still very immature. He would grow up at some point.
Because of his money-wasting thoughts, he was only given 10 gold in his wallet every two weeks. It wasn't enough to buy something immediately, and he would need to save up for something worthwhile. Hey, at least he is getting something unlike some int he world. Also, his parents weren't going to be back from some sort of trip they made for a few weeks. He was alone, being an only child and all, with only enough for him to survive without them.
He was sick and tired of the goddamn loaves of bread he had to eat, along with some chicken eggs and a scarce supply of milk, that was gone the first day. Anyways, he'd think that it would be a good idea to go outside for some sort of food, minus being able to see Larguz as a whole and answer any questions he'd always wonder about in his 14 years of life. His goal right now was to find some gold on the streets, and if he didn't, he'd come back and decide to just find some money that could be hidden somewhere in the house, in case kf emergency and he really needed it.
"Damnit," he would mutter and complain to himself. "Why do mom and dad have to be gone.. Now I'm stuck to fend for myself. This type of life is so harsh. Oh, hey, you should be FINE alone for a few weeks! You're already 14! Yadda," he shut up before he started cursing to himself.
So, past the door. Yes. He went pass the door, and faced east, then started walking that way. Right now, he could imagine bards playing on some instrument like the lyre or flute. He could hear the jolly sound they make in them in his little brain. It was actually ind of soothing, to hear a bard's tune. He tried to toss them a coin whenever he had miney. Or when he was little, gother his parents to do it.
His thought in the world changed. "Ah.. Thinking about it now, why did I never like going outside as a little kid? This is so fun. I mean, I do like trying new things."
