Wow, it seemed Nayru had lot of experiences. By the way...Bael? That was an interesting opponent... A giant disgusting spider might not staying in Mana's list of favorite creatures to kill but it would be quite challenging. Mana unfortunately never had a chance to fight one despite hearing many stories about the foul creatures. Letting out a quick laugh, the sword maiden agreed wholeheartedly with Nayru. "Oh sure... Those, whatever you fought against, must be the reason why those place became ruined. I guess you've even wrecked those cities more after the crazy battles but maybe no one would complain about that."
Mana wasn't familiar with how the dragons categorized themselves so the mention of "manakete" made her think it as another kind of monster. Nayru spoke about this manakete creature with such strange look in her eyes. For some reason, Mana could detect slight horror in her exotic eyes. What disaster this manakete had brought that made the brave Nayru get conquered by fear? So she was probably talking some kind of evil demonic monster? On contrary of the purpose of the warning, Mana took Nayru's words too seriously and got burned with determination to save people from this evil manakete. If only they had met earlier and known each other better, maybe Nayru would have realized that not telling Mana about this manakete would be the wisest choice at all. It wasn't like the black-haired Sacaen didn't fear fear at all. Going against such dreaded monster would bring herself to great risk which she might never recover if she were to fail. And knowing that, Mana would just make it her personal mission, just like how she had taken on the responsibility to hunt Arum Burt.
Mana smirked and put her right hand on Nayru's shoulder, while her left still holding the baby tightly. She stared at the dragoness with an confident smirk as if she was going to reassure the older woman with some brave words. "I didn't know that such evil creature exists. Don't worry, Nayru. After my wound is healed and I finish my duty, I am going to Ilia to stop this manakete from terrorizing people." Pulling her hand away and then pumping her fist high, Mana continued with her great misunderstanding. "I can't believe no one has gone against this monster. Surely there must be great heroes in Ilia that can take the task and save people from the manakete...like Richter. Could it be because even with combined might of many heroes this evil manakete is still to strong?" Mana herself might not notice the wide smile that creeping on her face when she was speaking. Her warrior heart was throbbing in the face of this great task.
What had you done Nayru? You had just sent someone to slay Lynessa!
"Oh by the way..." For a moment, that fire in her eyes subsided as Mana turned to Nayru. "By the way what is manakete actually? I never heard about it," she asked innocently, tilting her head.
