Name:Stellaris Valentin/ Stella Harmonia
Class:Acolyte
Age:15
Born in:Thria, Lycia
Appearance:Stella is rather short for her age, standing at only 4’5” and is quite thin and frail-looking. However this appearance is deceiving, as she is sturdier than one would think, a trait that she gets from a childhood spent frolicking in the foothills near Thria. She wears a simple flowing white dress with a rather showy blue and gold top over it and a pair of expensive leather boots, worn down from many days spent outside.
Personality:Above all else, Stella is a carefree optimist with a deeply held belief that all people can be good, if given the chance. She has never met anyone she didn’t believe could be a friend, and as such, is seen as a bit naive sometimes. She is filled to the brim with care and concern for others and always approaches each person she meets without any prejudices. She is very courageous, which can lead her into trouble more often than not, as she often bites off more than she can chew. Stella is, simply put, a happy-go-lucky ball of energy.
Story:Born to the merchants turned minor nobles Jacques and Sophie, Stellaris Valentin was raised amidst the sheltered children of the Thrian elite. From a young age, it was obvious that she had a gift for music and it wasn’t long before her parents sent for a tutor. Reaching out through their connections, they found the eccentric Count Sebastian of Etruria, a gifted singer and, unbeknownst to the lord and lady Valentin, a practitioner of the magical arts. Count Sebastian quickly got to work developing Stella’s vocal prowess, but was shocked to discover that her love of music and her belief in others carried with it a strong magical aura. He believed that he could train her to be a strong spellcaster. However, when he brought this new to her parents, they were strongly against the idea. They believed that if Stella were to learn magic, she would want to leave her home and use it in the real world.
However, Sebastian would get his chance when the lord and lady Valentin departed on a journey from which they would not return. During the Bandit War, they sought to bring aid to those affected by the war, but communications with them were lost and they were never found. Seizing this opportunity, Sebastian began to teach Stella magic alongside her music lessons and she took to it very quickly. However, tragedy would strike again several years later, when Etruria began its conquest. Count Sebastian was called back to his home country, but since she was the child of Lycian nobility, he was not permitted to bring Stella with him. Distressed at this news, Stella ran away from Thria and took up a life on the road as the bard, Stella Harmonia.
