Name:Getz
Class:Acolyte
Age:28
Born in:Bern
Appearance:Getz may look like a particularly aged and wise individual, especially considering his graying, near-whitish hair, but he is only twenty-eight years of age. His hair swoops up toward the top of his head and at his neck, which he consistently and fruitlessly attempts to comb down. Getz often stays up studying holy scriptures, causing him to develop apparent bags under his eyes, but despite his constant exhaustion, Getz wears a smile. He is adorned in a soot gray robe, reflecting his status as a holy acolyte. Above his robes he wears a bleached white cloak fastened in place by a golden button around his shoulders, which is too large and often drags on the ground behind him. Underneath his gray garb, Getz often wears a comfortable, light long-sleeved shirt tucked into his pants. While out on the field, he protects his feet with a brown pair of leather combat boots, but he wears a pair of brown loafers outside of those circumstances.
Personality:While Getz puts on a facade of being wise and calm, whenever others accuse him of being older than he is, he becomes brash and hot-headed, making and remaking the point that he is not, in fact, that old. In addition, he's often condescending and passive-aggressive, but always means well despite how he appears. He is a very kind individual, often giving to people he views as in need or lesser, which also inflates his ego just a little too much. He often brags of his knowledge of the holy text, despite the fact that he usually doesn't remember much of it due to his many sleepless nights. Whenever Getz becomes passionate about something or someone, he devotes the majority of his time to it or them. He has an issue of overdoing things as well, which makes him come off as creepy and obsessed to people who he views with romantic interest. But what may possibly be his worst flaw is his irrational hatred toward Sacaens. Being a wide-eyed and impressionable child during the Bandit War, as well as already being unclear as to what exactly Sacaens stood for, Getz views the bandit attacks on Bern by Kenshin and his team as unnecessary aggression and terrorism despite the fact that it was on a corrupt nation, causing an inherent distaste for Sacaens in him. Despite his flaws, however, Getz is always willing to lend a hand whether it be in combat, social situations, or other such situations. He always gives his one-hundred percent to everything, even if that can be a little too much.
Story:Getz began exhibiting his first interest in the holy ways when he was twelve years of age, mostly because he thought that light magic was cool. From then on, he studied the magics and the texts under his local church and library. Years passed and Getz eventually retired from his official status as a holy man, but kept an interest in religion well into his adulthood. He is currently in-between jobs.
