"Oh. Of course I'll introduce you. I would be rude of me if I didn't. Getz, this is Reid. Reid this is Getz." She made a few hand motions and pointed to who was who. To be honest Mila barely knew anything about Reid other then he was a shaman, with red hair, and glasses. And that he was part of that research group in Osita. Yep, that was all she knew. She didn't know much about Getz either. Other then he was a priest, with white hair, and disliked Saceans. If Mila were to be asked questions about one man regarding the other she wouldn't have too many answers. Oh.. crap wait was Reid Sacean? I don't remember. I shouldn't mention it. Hmm.. he doesn't look Sacean. Maybe? Mila.. honestly how many Saceans do we even know? Uh.. none. Sh*t. I'm a terrible. She was a little lost in her own head for a moment. Fortunately, Reid managed to bring her back to reality with his comment about food. Oh, so Reid was hungry! Well that explained everything. Mila was no stranger to the infamous mood known as Hangry. Or in this case maybe it should be called Rudry? No, no that made no sense. She'll think of a better word for it later.
"But, this.. might not be the best time for Reid. The gentleman would like to go to lunch and it would be mean if we delay him." She patted Getz on the shoulder and motioned for him to move out of Reid's way.
"Go ahead Reid. Sorry to have bothered you."

Reid, huh? How coincidental. Getz smiled slightly at Reid, nodding to him politely. He then stepped aside, looking from Mila to Reid, then back again. "Nonsense! We may accompany him. Perhaps he would enjoy it." Getz clapped his hands together as he spoke, looking back to Reid with a slightly quizzical tilt in his head. "Unless, you object. In which case, I completely understand! The desire to be in solitude is a necessary one indeed, friend, and we shall not hesitate to leave you be should you wish." In all honesty, the man had completely defied Getz's expectations; it seemed he was very reserved and quiet. He had expected Reid to be more like him: outspoken in his beliefs and always willing to meet new people and experience new things. However, it appeared this wasn't the case, but that didn't bother Getz too much. He was certain that he could find something that he and Reid had mutual interest in.

If one was to ask Reid what his motivation was, passion. His passion for knowledge drove him further and further down his road in life. His current goal was to unravel the mysteries of the past to explain the current events in other parts of the world, the amount of focus he had put into his goals had caused him to be anti-social for the most part. On the other hand, his parents didn't raise him to be rude so refusing Getz' offer wasn't in his nature. Luckily for Reid, Getz didn't look like one of those meatheads that wanted to start trouble.
"My plans was grabbing a quick bite to eat then get back to my studies, but I guess it would be a better idea to sit down and eat with a conversation." He turned back to look at his belongings, he figured the book keeper would make sure nobody messes with them, plus most of the libraries he's been to are closer to a ghost town compared to other establishments in towns. The next question is where would they go? Reid had planned on wondering around to find some kind of fruit stand and get something to quell his stomach pains from hunger, which would have been a momentary thing so he should thank Getz sooner or later since he'll more than likely end up eating more which would solve this problem for a longer time.
"I had recently arrived into town so I do not know where anything is located. Would either of you like to make a suggestion?"

"Ah yes of course." She was being rude to Reid again. Delaying the poor red head from a meal, she took a moment to step aside a bit. Her mind was trying to work out what would be the best course of action. What would be a good place to eat? Now that was a bit of a conundrum for the Sage. She had also recently arrived into town and had no idea where anything was. Which is why she had to stop and ask for directions and subsequently met Getz. At most she knew was how to get back to the inn which was located on the edge of town next to the church.
"I saw a fruit stand on the way in. A little to the left of the main entrance." She shook her head.
"But, from that growl earlier I imagine you might want something more substantial then just fruits and veggies." She pouted a bit. She glanced around a bit and then an idea struck her. She took a few steps and walked passed the Reid the red head and stopped in front of the librarian.
"Excuse me.. but do you have any recommendations for a place to eat?" She asked the Librarian. The person suggested they try the local bakery which was located across the street. How convenient. She mused to herself then turned around and returned to her two companions.
"Well. We could try the bakery. Librarian says it's across the street." She shrugged. She then motioned to the men to follow her. She held the door open for them when they came.

"That sounds wonderful," Getz declared. Oh, this was so exciting! Despite the fact that he had only just met these two minutes ago, it had been ages since Getz had had anyone even remotely resembling a friend, let alone two. He couldn't help but get giddy at the idea that he'd have the opportunity to just discuss his interests with others; a prospect that hadn't been proposed to him since his youth. It also helped that these two appeared to be fairly educated; it seemed to him that most people in Bern that Getz encountered were ruffians, hooligans, or just plain rude, many of whom could barely form a sentence without cursing. He supposed that he had found the two diamonds in the very expansive, very crass rough. Getz nodded and exited through the door, thanking Mila for holding it. He gathered up his cloak in his arms and waited just outside of the building patiently for Reid. He was certainly an eccentric person, that one. Didn't seem much for conversation. But the acolyte supposed that he could draw his acquaintance out of his shell with some good food and better discussion.

And so with the men in tow Mila eventually led them down the street and out towards the bakery. The young sage had a light lunch and some pleasant conversation. She had told the men about some little bits and details of her adventures, her monster hunts, her fights, and her little adventure in Vinland. She left out the major details like the fact that there were massive monsters and shapeshifters. She didn't want Vinland to get the wrong sort of attention. Plus she didn't know which eyes were watching or which ears were listening. So she kept most of the details vague or left up to the person's imagination.
Her lunch was decent. A warm roll of cheese and fruit jam. It was a nice salty sweet combination that would hold her over until dinner. She was eager to get back into the library and do some research. But, then she remembered she had not booked a room at the inn yet. She knew she needed to learn where this library was and that she'd have to find another day to browse its shelves for knowledge. What she needed to do now was head back to the inn she saw and secure lodging for the night. Or else she'd risk sleeping out in the street. And considering this was a town with shadows and alleys she wasn't quite so comfortable with the idea of sleeping outside. She shook her head lightly. Her mind recalled the kidnapping incident and her mood darkened. They never did find the baker's daughter. She couldn't dwell on that now. She had work to do. Mila dismissed herself from the company of the two magi. Perhaps they could catch up and talk another day. -- Exit thread.

Well, as sad as Getz was to see his new acquaintance go, he couldn't deny that her exit did cause him to remember something important of his own that he neglected, and he narrowly avoided cursing to himself. He couldn't say that he didn't feel bad for abandoning Reid like this, but he couldn't just blatantly neglect his missionary work, especially when it was the closest thing to employment he had for himself. Ha gathered up his cloak in his arms quickly and smiled at Reid apologetically, speaking hurriedly. "I'm so sorry to leave you high and dry like this, but I just remembered that I have some very important religious work to attend to. I'll try to keep in touch, sir. It was fantastic to meet you." Getz didn't pay attention to the fact that he hadn't even bothered to get Reid's home address before hurrying off into the busy Bern streets, soon enough getting lost in the crowd. --- Exit thread.
