Common chatter rang loud, a clear sky shone bright above, and a satchel filled with various medicines and surgical tools clinked innocently as Franziska walked alongside her giant wyvern. Enzo, a hulking albino, was squinting at the sunlight and generally acting aloof to curious strangers. As the two passed a few shops which appeared to sell spices, he sneezed loudly and shook his head. She ran her fingers down his long, arched neck. She wasn't tall enough to reach his head, after all. He shivered once at the contact but seemed to calm down.
Franziska, though she had no formal training with staves or any other kinds of magic-based medicine, was fairly well-versed in the old fashioned kind. As a way to make money, she occasionally took up the odd house call. Usually, the request was fairly simple: a bad cough that wouldn't fade, the rare broken arm- she'd once had to stitch a man's stomach back together after a training accident. Most of her 'surgeries' were temporary fixes until the patients could get to more advanced medical care. She was completely fine with that, though- she liked to think that she's saved a life or two, and money was indeed money.
She stretched widely, cracking her back as she did so. She had the afternoon free, and she intended to relax. Enzo seemed to agree with her. He tried to stretch out his 'wings' before quickly realizing that was a bad idea in a crowded street. Hmmm, she thought, eyeing the numerous buildings around her. What to do now?

Oh, what a wonderful day! Getz paced down the crowded Bernese streets, the sun warm but not overwhelmingly so on his skin, the breeze light upon his flesh, the two forces balancing each other out perfect, as all should be. It seemed not atypical; the acolyte once more on a quest for a bit of light reading, just returning from a session of shopping and out on the town once more. His attention was stolen, however, by a particularly interesting, out-of-place looking person looking about the town in indecision. There was something next to the young person, but the clear sun reflected off of... whatever it was, such that it was blinding to look at. Whatever the object was, it was large, and very, very lightly colored. Considering the acolyte had nothing better to do at this point in time, he decided he was not averse to a chat. He hiked up his cloak such that it would not drag on the ground and jogged toward the stranger, a tired smile on his face. He waved his hand as he closed the distance between himself and the newcomer. "Ho there, friend!" As Getz approached the figure, he could decide that it was, in fact, a woman. He could also perceive that the rather large object next to her was a wyvern. A giant wyvern, smack in the center of the highly crowded Bernese town. That was... a new one, indeed. But, despite the natural and completely reasonable reservations one would have about approaching a giant dragon-ish creature, as Getz had, he opted to continue with his approach anyway. He stopped just in front of the woman, still smiling. "Hello, ma'am. How are you this fine day?"
OOC: I am so, SO sorry for how long this took. I was extremely busy with real life stuff, and I could only micromanage so much. I'm really sorry this took this long.

Getz blinked. He had forgotten to do something. Sigh. Another long sleepless night the previous day had left him forgetting about that very important book he had to return! He couldn't believe he'd forgotten yet again. He harshly reprimanded himself for being so incredibly forgetful and bunched up his cloak in his arms, dusting himself off and retrieving a book from inside of his robe. Getz huffed in exasperation and began to walk off before remembering the person he had originally walked up here to talk to, speed walking back up to her and apologizing profusely for just running off like this the instant after greeting her. He also apologized to the wyvern for good measure, then actually took off to go return his book, gathering up his cloak every time it fell down, each quickly punctuated with an exasperated sigh, huff, or groan. He figured he'd have to give the thing a thorough cleaning after he completed his errand. --- Exit thread.
