What prompted Katsumi to head off to Bulgar even she didn't know. The city was crowdy, loud, and she nearly got into a fist fight every time she bumped into someone. Not that she was at all appalled to the prospect. If she wasn't still recovering slightly from the injuries she obtained from her last mission she'd normally have just decided to go slug someone by this point. Instead she just ignored the people, shooting off the odd snarky retort whenever one of them bothered to curse at her for bumping into them.
She'd been hoping to buy something with some of the money she'd made off of jobs, but to her dismay it wouldn't be so simple. Like, what did she even buy aside from the obvious? Weapons and armour, sure, but armor in particular didn't really work that well for her. Kat's fighting style required a lot of mobility and speed from her part, along with full-range of motion. What little armour she already wore was about as much as she could handle. On top of that she didn't really want to spend too much on another sword. She honestly fought better without it, but the sword she carried served her purposes just fine regardless.
Pah...Asura had mentioned gauntlets and greaves. Problem was that ones built for martial arts weren't as common as the ones that were made for knights and heavier armour, and there was definitely a difference. Maybe if she kept looking around Bulgar she'd find a vendor that sold them? Even then it'd be a matter of affording them...
Kat glanced up and saw a sign over head. Didn't bother reading it fully: she knew it was a tavern. With a small smirk she waltzed into the busy establishment and immediately gazed around for a free seat. Taverns were the Earth Mom's tits. Somehow the noise and chatter actually cleared her mind a bit, provided she could sit down and drink throughout. Not to mention there was a chance she'd catch wind of a decent job or something.

Leiva found herself slumping over at a table in the tavern in Bulgar. One might think Ryuzaki would've at least let her know where to wait for him before dropping her there like old luggage, or at the very least hinted at it, but no. Leiva was stuck sitting in this loud, dingy, ruffian-filled mead-pit waiting for her mentor to return from the shopping. She found herself playing with the cut-off seam of her cloak and not even being able to focus on that; the noise invaded her brain and she couldn't hear herself think. She mentally cursed her stoic mentor for being so reserved about everything before looking up and observing the surroundings. The place was loud and dirty, filled with muscular, old men shooting the breeze about what or whomever they had most recently encountered in their lifetime, some of whom making it a point to shout and fight each other. Leiva simply could not comprehend how one could enjoy the atmosphere of such a place or even how Ryuzaki could've possibly figured this a place suitable for a child, even if she could hold her own in a battle. She turned to the door as the newcomer opened it, appearing to be one of the only female customers at the establishment. She turned back and rested her head at the table, dismissing the newcomer almost immediately. This one was, no doubt, going to be just as obnoxious as every other irritating resident of this detestable place. Having grown up in the Sacaen plains, she was not accustomed to such high population density, and she figured most of them would be relatively similar to each other. She covered her garish hair with her arms, attempting to look inconspicuous. Maybe nobody would bother her.

It seemed that Bulgar was nothing special when it came to taverns. Kat took in the surrounding sights and sounds with a rather plain expression on her face. One could praise the diversity of people within the tavern, but it was really hard to get a grasp of just how diverse the clientele were from just a first glance. You had your Sacaens, and your non-Sacaens. Most taverns in Elibe had SOME degree of diversity like that, though there were usually significantly less Sacaens.
"Sacaens are like cattle." Kat thought, snorting out loud at her analogy. "They never stray too far from their grass."
Kat stretched her arms over her head and leaned back in her chair, idly watching the poor waitresses scramble about the busy establishment. Somehow they managed to keep smiles on their faces as they almost literally ran from table to table. They probably would be running if there was room for it, but instead they had to weave around tables, chairs, stools, people running for the loo, or people getting up and going to the bar because the waitresses were too slow. Idiots, not like the bar was any better.
It was going to be a real test of Kat's patience, but if she could find something to keep her occupied, then she didn't really mind the wait. At the moment she didn't have anything better to do. She already trained her ass off that morning.
"Aight lads, next round's on me." A larger man, complete with a stained work crap and a beer gut, spoke boldly to his friends that sat before him. They banged their mugs on the table in cheer, after all they were about to get free booze. The large man in question began the harrowing journey between his table and the bar itself. Slowly but surely he made his way around the waitresses, his eyes lingering far too long on them as he squeezed by, along with the rest of the clientele.
Just as he was about to reach the bar his eyes settled on something rather stunning. He was a Lycian man, from a small village on the outskirts of Pherae. He'd been told all kinds of wild rumors from the travelers and mercenaries who passed through, particularly of Sacaens. Their women, notably. Those rumors inspired in him a certain curiosity ever since he was a boy, and now his eyes beheld what was undoubtedly not just the most beautiful Sacaen he'd ever seen, but one of the most beautiful women period. She had long, dark green hair, and was dressed in garb that was definitely of Sacaen make, but unlike most of their looser robes hugged her assets in all the right ways.
He ran a hand through his short dark brown hair and attempted to squeeze past everyone to make it to that woman, his liquid courage spurring him on, but he was miffed to find the seats on either side of her were taken. One was by a man, armed with a sword but his attention was elsewhere. Definitely not her man. The other was a smaller girl with bright red hair...wait, was that a child? The f**k was a kid doing in the tavern anyway? He sure as hell wasn't going to tolerate some brat getting between him and potentially the best time of his life.
"Hey kid." He grunted, attempting not to draw the woman's attention to himself, but certainly the kids. He placed a hand firmly on the table she sat at, giving her a firm stare. "Yer in my spot, yeah?"

Leiva stared at the large man as he crossed the room, her own eyes following the path of his and seeing the woman seated across from her. She couldn't keep her expression from contorting into a detested face, looking back at and tracing the man. She noticed that the ruffian was approaching her now, his expression portraying a certain distaste. What was his problem? The man reached Leiva and as he spoke to her, she uncovered her head, revealing her bandaged face and peculiarly colored hair, her hand instinctively finding the hilt of her sword. She sat up straighter, the disgusted expression still on her face as she looked the vagrant up and down, assessing him. He didn't seem too threatening; sure, he was big, but outside of that, he seemed as if he was all bark and no bite. "Excuse you? I was here first." Leiva never even figured that she could've diffused the situation peacefully by merely giving up her seat to the man; she was tired from the long, grueling trip to Bulgar, and like hell was she giving up her seat, even if it was covered in grease and mead stains. She looked about the room, hoping for somebody to find her eye and notice her situation, possibly help her out. As confident as she was about being able to take this guy, she had a penchant for being overconfident. She figured that she could get off at least one good blow before he grabbed her, but after that, she was probably done for. Leiva bit her lip, sweat beading at her forehead. She might've bitten off more than she could chew, but she refused to back down, despite the odds she predicted. She'd kill this dastard before she let him harass an innocent girl trying to have a good time.

If Kat was to learn anything from her brief stint in the tavern thus far, it was that she sure as crap was never going to be a waitress. As brutish as the act had been she couldn't help but crack up in a bit of laughter as she saw a rather large man all but shove past two of them on his way to the bar. The waitresses managed to notice her laughter, though, and Kat shut up rather quickly. She sure as hell wasn't getting served anytime soon for that.
Cloud Father be damned. Ah well...her eyes briefly glanced at the bar, but the big lug wasn't there. She'd hoped he might of actually knocked someone over. If a fight broke out there would at least be some real entertainment for her, since it seemed she probably wasn't getting a drink in the foreseeable future. Bored but admittedly curious Kat scanned the tavern for him. He wasn't necessarily the largest man in the tavern, that honour went to the drunken blonde hunk over in the corner. Guy had like, two dark haired Sacaen bimbos all but groping his body. Probably good little tribal girls that had the chance to slip away into Bulgar for some real fun.
Tch.
Soon enough she did spot the man in question, but he sure wasn't at the bar. He was leaning over a table, talking down to some small girl. Really small. Was she even supposed to be in here? The girl didn't look like she had anyone with her. Either way it didn't look to be a confrontation between the two yet, but it seemed as though one may have been imminent. The red haired girl glanced around quickly, as if she was nervous, but didn't seem at all ready to back down. Was the guy harassing her for some reason?
...Well, f**k it, she had nothing better to do.
Kat swung her feet off of the empty chair she'd had them resting on and stood up straight before casually walking over to the table.
"...listen, li'l red. You're in my seat and you gotta move, understand?!"
"Hah, good one. That's not your seat though." Kat stated plainly, a small smirk on her face. The man looked up at her and immediately she felt it. The adrenaline, the rush. Maybe he'd take a swing. Kat sure wouldn't mind provoking him. He was big, but he was drunk and had a massive gut. Hit him hard enough there and she could make him spew. "I saw you get up and walk away from your boys over there." Kat gestured towards the man's old table with the tilt of her head. Sure enough the men were simply jesting and whooping it up, not remotely aware of what was going on with their big dumb friend. "I saw you saunter over, nearly throwing those waitresses to the ground. Can't help but wonder why."
"None of your business, you stupid-" The man's eyes were not subtle. They went exactly where Kat expected them to go, and it certainly wasn't her face. However they did surprise her by flicking towards a rather gorgeous woman who sat nearby, drinking away at her ale and chatting with a friend across from her. Ah hah. "Listen, I just need li'l red to move here, all right?"

Leiva stood suddenly, right hand gripping the hilt of the sword, the left gripping the sheath, knocking her chair over on accident. It produced a rather loud thump against the splintered hardwood of the tavern, the noise startling her herself, despite her confident facade. None of the other residents noticed, however, due to the already deafening cacophony going on inside of the bar. "I'm not giving up this seat, you--" Her eyes were drawn to the stranger who had approached the large man, blinking in surprise. She was entirely convinced nobody else would notice the situation, but she was sure glad that the mystery woman did. Any sense of calm Leiva had been keeping instantly dissipated when she saw the ruffian's eyes drift where they shouldn't; that crap was the kind of stuff that really pissed Leiva off. She gripped the hilt of her blade even tighter, her knuckles white, her face contorted into a fierce glare. She didn't look very threatening, unfortunately, due to her ridiculously girlish face. Instead of unsheathing and burying the blade three inches into the large man's thigh, she opted to throw a low arcing punch up into the large man's crotch, yelling loudly as she did so. The attack didn't carry too much power, but it was absolutely enough to cause pain. She almost immediately knew that punching the large man was a horribly misinformed decision, but she knew she couldn't back out now. "Who the hell do you think you are?! Where do you think you get off just staring at women gormlessly like they're objects?"

The feisty little red head had seemed pretty adamant about moving, despite her earlier glances around the tavern. Kat could respect that...actually, the more she thought about it, the more she respected it. At first this had just been a way to kill some time, the only sort of action happening in the tavern that wasn't the same old jolly good fun she'd had in Lycian taverns before this. Sure this wasn't unique to Bulgar or anything, like she'd hoped, but it was actually...personal.
Of course it was even more personal to "li'l red", and she made that abruptly clear when she made - literally - the ballsiest move Kat had seen in a while. The big lug let out a rather hilarious cry of pain, starting low in tone and steadily squeaking higher as it continued on, backing up and moving his hands briefly to cover crotch. He leaned forward and groaned while Kat just burst out laughing.
"Damn, Red." She sure wasn't "li'l" anymore. If she didn't have bigger balls than that idiot before, she definitely did now. "I sure as hell didn't see that coming. Neither did he, clearly." Kat shot an approving grin over at the girl before focusing on the big man once more. He probably wasn't going to take kindly to that, most men didn't, so Kat figured she may as well escalate the situation further. There was no way a fight WASN'T happening at this point, so why not. Kat walked right near the bigger man and even put her hand on his shoulder, watching him carefully.
"Yeeeeeah. Well I don't think li'l red wants to move." Kat cleared her throat, grinning wide before speaking loudly. "If you want to talk to that pretty Sacaen right there-" Oh you better believe she made the extra effort to point the bitch out. She'd drawn the attention of everyone at the nearest tables with her voice, including Miss Sacae 1294, so she kept going. "I'm sure she doesn't care if you just stand near her, just uh, try to keep your gut out of her face yeah? Doubt she'd care for that."
Now she fully expected the contorted look of rage that came her way, what she didn't expect was for the man to grab the leg of the nearest empty chair and swing it at her. Kat reacted fast enough, thankfully, and jumped back, the chair skipping across the tavern floor and knocking another man clear off his feet, the people around him grunting and gasping in surprise.
Ooooooooh yeah. It was on now.
"You little bitch! Yer gonna regret that!" The big ape roared, stomping his way over to the red haired girl.

Leiva's face contorted into a smirk as the man stumbled backward, clearly caught off guard by the power of the attack, her hand still balled up into a fist from the strike. She looked over at Katsumi and met her grin with her own, giggling at the high-pitched noise the man made. "I hope I knocked the piss right outta him." She turned her attention back toward the large man who was now slumped against the bar, watching Katsumi as she approached him. The woman spoke some things that Leiva couldn't quite hear, but she could gather the basic gist of the words based upon the escalating rage evident on the large ruffian's face. Her eyes widened in surprise as the man swung the table leg at the mystery lady, astonished by her impromptu dodge. But then, she noticed the man approaching her, rage burning in his eyes and anger motivating his stomping steps. By this point, most of the bar's attention was on them, but Leiva couldn't care less. Her earlier rage from the situation still burned hot in her mind, blood rushing in her ears and grip tight on the hilt of her sword. She stepped back into a half-stance as the man got closer, the cocky expression still across her face. Her confidence boosted from the earlier strike to the vagrant's babymaker, she taunted the ruffian. "Try me, asshole! See what happens!" She didn't dare draw her sword; not unless it was completely necessary, but she didn't feel she would need to. She was smaller, much faster than her assailant, and Leiva knew this. In fact, she was so sure of this that she unclipped her sword hilt from her belt and placed it on the nearest table. It would only slow her down. Plus, she wanted to show off in front of the woman who had helped her. After tagging along with Ryuzaki, the stoic, brooding assassin for this whole time, it was good to finally find someone who was willing to have some fun once in a while. This was going to be fun.

Tavern BrawlChaos had already begun to take hold of the tavern. The man who had been knocked over by his chair got to his feet, red-faced and furious, before attempting to charge into the large man who bowled him off his footing. Unfortunately he shoved another man into a table in the process, only for a large woman seated at that table to get up and throw an elbow at his face in retaliation. The situation only escalated from there, with more and more people getting up to take a swing at the nearest stranger. The waitresses, along with some bystanders, did their best to calm everyone down...but after one of them took an accidental kick to the leg they gave up and joined in. It was to no avail. Much to Katsumi's delight. The half-Sacaen's senses were completely lit up, her mind engrossed entirely in the moment. The roars and shouts of those that fought, the satisfying smack of flesh hitting flesh, and of course the crack flesh hitting wood. Those that didn't fight either continued to try and get between people that were fighting, usually to no avail, or got on the sidelines and cheered on. After all this was like free entertainment, even if it was a nightmare for the employees and the tavern's owner. Of course Katsumi preferred a REAL fight, but there was something utterly satisfying about a good old fashion tavern brawl. So, suffice it to say she kept the good times rolling. Kat's eyes darted about her and she bent her knees in anticipation, searching for the quickest way to get in on the action. She spotted two men not far from her, trading blows evenly, fist for fist, and immediately lunged at them. She drove her left fist into the side of one man, causing him to bend a bit towards her. Kat then opened up the fist she just drilled him with, used it to palm her right fist before swinging her elbow straight into the man's cheekbone. There was an oh-so satisfying crack on impact, and she brought the man down to the ground head first. Of course she was then immediately tackled by the man's original opponent, her head and back hitting the floorboards a bit harder than she'd like. Her sword's scabbard dug into her back painfully as the man raised a fist...
Closer to Leiva, despite the chaos, the beer-bellied man who took a part in causing all this ruckus continued to charge at her, roaring as he closed in. His arms were spread wide and he looked to just outright ram his entire body into the girl, even if it meant taking the chair and, indeed, the entire table with him.

The tavern was even more deafening than before, the hard, satisfying cracks and thumps, whooshing fists colliding with cheeks, jaws, mouths, guts, chests. Leiva had never been in a situation quite this chaotic before, save the destruction of her village, and to her shame, she enjoyed it thoroughly. The sounds of pain, of suffering, of defeat and conquest and victory, the bar's escalating noise swirling around and invading the novice's mind, getting her high on the atmosphere of the place. Her eyes dilated, hearing and vision sharpening both, everything moving in slow motion. She could see the ripples of fist on skin, flesh contorting and twisting, her ears taking in every agonized yelp and pained groan. The scrambled, haphazard nature, the battling, the bruising, the breaking, the snapping. It was getting to her, and it felt good. She wanted to help. She wanted to maim, she wanted to harm. She wanted to dislocated bones, she wanted to rend flesh, she wanted hurt somebody. But, even in her irrational state, Leiva remained vigilant; going to grab her sword would give the brute time to be upon her, maybe even touch her, and she couldn't allow that. The oaf was wide open. After several days traveling with Ryuzaki, Leiva had learned improper fighting technique, and this ruffian was doing everything wrong. Feet spread wide, stomping toward her, arms held out, entire chest bared. Had the novice been equipped with a sword, she could've made several easy strikes on him, but this was not a blade match. This was a cakewalk, was what it was. As he approached Leiva, the novice ran straight at him, boots thumping noisily on the screaming, strained old wood. Her steps were quick and easy without the weight of her sword, and she found her new mobility quite liberating. She waited until she was certain she would collide right with the brutish vagrant's chest, but then stopped and kicked her feet up, her weight toppling her over onto her back. In this new position, legs sprawled out ahead and elbows on top of cloak on top of wood, Leiva slid directly between the giant man's legs, under table and chair. After her momentum stopped completely, she leaped back to her feet and turned around, looking to assess the giant man's condition. Just as Leiva had predicted, the man had careened into several sets of bar stools, tables, and chairs, and was now heading toward the wall faster than he could stop himself, ending up colliding right into the stiff stone walls of the tavern. The novice cracked a smirk and giggled under her breath, proud of her victory. Attention off of her, Leiva now took the time to look around the room, looking to see if the woman had been watching. The answer was no, but she looked on in bewildered wonderment as the older girl had begun pummeling the holy hell out of some unlucky patron, soon to be tackled by another. But she couldn't focus on anyone else; Leiva was sure she wasn't off the hook yet. If the older woman had been openly antagonized by someone else, she was almost certain she wasn't safe either. She kept light on her feet, scanning the room for anybody or may or may not come at her.

(OOC: Probably not gonna drag this out for TOO long. Maybe just one or two more rounds of posting before the brawl is resolved)
Katsumi was quick to brace herself for the incoming blow, bringing her arms up over her face, but yet the strike never came. Instead the man who had pinned her down received a rather nasty front kick to the side of his head. The impact made a resounding crack and the man was sent hurtling off Kat's body from the force of it. Before Kat could even move the kicker in question stepped over, screaming. "I KNOW YA SLEPT WIT' HER JOHN! I SWEAR TO ELIMINE I KNOW IT! I'M GONNA-"
The sleeper-wither, John, was essentially defenseless against the beatdown that followed. Even Katsumi winced at that particularly brutal scene, but she didn't let her gaze linger. The half-Sacaen scurried to her feet in time to side step a chair that was hurled across the tavern floor, but bumped into a er...large woman. The woman in question had a man's head palmed in each hand, and she had just finished uh...clunking them together, when she turned to look down on Katsumi.
Ah boy, this was going to be a doozy.
Thankfully, big lady seemed to mean slow fighter in this case. She raised her arm up into the air in an almost comical fashion, as if she was about to bring it down in the nastiest hammer punch delivered in Elibean history. It gave Katsumi plenty of time to fall into her stance and drive her fist into the big woman's side. Unfortunately, big lady also meant DURABLE fighter, and the woman hardly so much as flinched from the strike.
Her hammer-fist did fall, but it was so telegraphed that Katsumi didn't exactly have trouble evading it. That was probably her opportunity to back off, to go literally find someone her own size to tussle with instead, but Katsumi had a wide grin on her face. She wanted the challenge.
Katsumi charged at the big woman, even as she readied another meaty fist.
(OOC take 2: With the big guy out of the way you can probably just have Leiva mess around with her own opponents or even try to leave. Up to you!!)

(OOC: I'm good with that, sure.) Leiva's eyes flitted among the battling crowd, her head turning and body twitching, at the ready, until she caught sight of the woman who she had encountered just a little while earlier; the one who had aided her in starting this mess. She appeared to be about to engage with a rather large woman who looked to be ridiculously strong, although slow. A trend, it seems, among the denizens of the brutish bar brawl, but the novice had more than proven to herself these types of people were easy enough to deal with, and Leiva figured it was about time she repaid the woman for her help. Leiva quickly scrambled over to the large offender, ducking under tables and weaving past battling crowds, flying chairs, and shattered glasses filled with liquor, scrambling by and through the quickest route to the other battling women. Coming to a stop about two yards short of the two, Leiva's view went into slow motion; she saw the two about to clash, all of the other fights simultaneous going on. She surveyed her surroundings for less than half a second, spotting an overturned stool just before an upright table, just to the right of the large woman. Seeing an opportunity, the novice sprinted full force at it, stepping up onto the overturned seat with her right foot, bringing her left onto the table before launching spectacularly up into the air, lifting her leg and flying toward the large lady, delivering a flying kick to her left cheek. The novice flew off to the right of the lady, rolling onto the ground with a grunt, turning around to survey the damage she had caused. The large lady seemed distracted now; not wounded, but she had bought enough time with the garish maneuver that the woman that had helped Leiva earlier would have more than enough time to strike. She cracked a smirk to herself, whispering under her breath about how cool that was before standing up and dusting herself off, still observing the two other women, eager to see what Katsumi would do with the opportunity.
(OOC: On a side note, I absolutely love your writing style. Your descriptions are hilarious!)

As Kat ran towards the woman and her big, meaty paws, she ducked her head beneath the incoming blow. Telegraphed, as usual. Sure the woman was built like a damned bear, but she clearly never needed to learn how to fight properly. Just when Katsumi stepped closer to the woman she was...honestly startled, to see what appeared to be a flying tyke deliver a soaring kick to big momma's cheek. The kick was, unsurprisingly, relatively ineffective, but it definitely got the large lady to drop her fists of fat and fury, looking over at the kid as if she was some kind of apparition. Evidently she didn't see it coming either.
And she sure as hell wasn't going to see this coming!
Aiming for the space just beneath her ribs, Kat stepped right into the large lady and gave her a hard punch, putting everything she had into it. It actually forced the bigger woman to double over, the air rushing from her lungs, and Katsumi raised both her fists, clasped together, before bringing them down in a swift motion onto the back of the woman's head. The impact was so hard it actually sent a shock of pain straight through Kat's arms, but she managed to knock big momma right down onto the floorboards, face first.
"Whew, that was a rush!" Katsumi said, grinning at the still form of big mamma on the ground. Er...she really wasn't moving. Probably just knocked out. Kat wrung her hands out, attempting to shake off the pain, and looked over to Leiva, the flying tyke, and gave her a grin. "Not a bad move kid!" Reckless as all hell, but hey: no risk, no reward.
The chaos continued onward all around them. People were just using the brawl to take out their personal vendettas, like buddy boy and John the Sleeper-Wither. At first it had been a blast, but the things were getting...heavy now. Katsumi could hear the name calling, people were starting to gang up on others, and the fighting was becoming more violent. The tavern owner had run out of the building, nod doubt to call the guards.
Yep, time to go.
"Hey, kid. Come this way, quickly!" Katsumi gestured for Leiva to follow her before weaving her way between the equally askew furniture and people, side-stepping punches and kicks whilst hopping over chairs and tables. It wasn't EXACTLY smooth sailing, but Kat managed to move through it all without tripping up too severely.

Leiva could swear that she heard a crack as Katsumi's fist connected with the woman's stomach, and there was absolutely one following the overhead strike. She found her hands covering her mouth at the sheer brutality of the moves; however, her actions were betrayed by her expression, which was still spread into a wide a grin. The novice grimaced in sympathy once more as the woman's face was sent into the floorboards, watching the old and strained floorboards splintering under the impact of the woman. Leiva blinked in bafflement. That was utterly fantastic. Her attention was stolen once more by the lady who had previously aided her calling to her, her eyes flicking from the unconscious meat-monger to the helpful, brash woman. She nodded at the praise, the grin spreading more widely. "Thanks!" Leiva took a chance to listen and observed the atmosphere more closely; there were now weapons being used. She was hearing more splatters and screams as opposed to meaty thumps and angered yells, which slightly unnerved her. While the atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable to her, she didn't want anything to go extremely wrong. She knew she was outclassed by almost all of the residents of the tavern, drunken or not. "Hey, kid! Come this way, quickly! Katsumi didn't have to tell Leiva twice. She quickly vaulted over a table and rolled under a few thrown articles of worn furniture, standing at the edge of the table that held her sword. Her hand swiftly took up the blade, hauling ass toward the tavern's exit as soon as she had her blade firmly in her grasp. She narrowly dodged a rather wide woman barreling toward a smaller one before bursting through the tavern door, stumbling out onto the busy Bulgarian street. Leiva took a moment to catch her breath, hands on her head, before she looked around for the woman who had helped her. She couldn't make anyone out in particular among the tall Bulgarians crowding the streets, so instead she resorted to waving her arms like a baboon, jumping up and down. She figured that her small stature would make her hard to recognize among the crowd, but that didn't stop her from feeling like a total idiot anyway.

Making it out of that pit of chaos had been a bit of a mad struggle, but after weaving around the various brawls, the piles of unconscious patrons, and flying furniture, the duo were able to make out onto the street: before the guards even crashed that party to boot!
Kat looked down to see that her diminutive partner was...happy(?) about their successful escape? She was flailing her arms about and jumping up and down. It was quite amusing sight to behold, if not extremely weird. "Uh, you okay there kid? Kinda look like you're having a stroke." She asked, a brow cocked in mild concern. Before the concern really sets in or begins to linger, however, Kat finds herself grinning all the same. "Or maybe you're just hyped. That was a pretty sweet brawl, huh?"
In hindsight, she felt...a bit bad for the owner of that particular tavern, but it wasn't as though she was going to stick around to deliver that apology. Instead she kept walking down the busy street wondering what was next. Yeah, she had this kid with her, uh...what was her name, again?
"Maybe a little late, but the name's Kat, by the way." Kat stated with an idle shrug of her shoulders. The half-Sacaen turned on her heel and looked down at the girl before her. Had she really gotten a good look at her before? Something seemed a bit...off, with her hair. Was it dyed or something? And what was with the bandages. She really have it that rough or did she fancy herself some kind of enigma?
"What's yours, squirt?"
