So I've been thinking about Silence, and about how its utility seems kinda limited. I got to thinking, and thought that it would be really cool if we could make it a more espionage/intelligence/coordination type thing. So that instead of just being Silence to sound, and ending Magic, it's non-combat use was in sound manipulation.
So say its basic affect was to kill the noise, but also to allow the user to hear stuff from far away, and maybe sling noises of different volume somewhere else. By speaking, the user could give a message to somebody on mission with them. For advanced it could just be an expansion of those ideas, plus more control. Heck you could even add in warping noise, to make an order somebody was giving sound completely off, telling some poor sap to guard the wrong building, leaving the right door unprotected.
Just something I thought would be cool, and would give Staff Wielders a bit more fun to play around with.
