One thing that was easy to forget for those who lived in Khan Yunis was how much of an absolute shithole the rest of Nabata was. When you didn't live next to 50 trillion gallons of water with some arable farmland, it was pretty damn hard to develop much of a civilization, especially not a large one. Oh there was life amidst the dunes of course, life always found a way, but it was very... different from what the rest of Elibe, or even those of Khan Yunis, could imagine. Underground buildings to utilize the lower temperatures. Villages built into cliff faces and rock formations. Usually located along trade routes or near oasises. Oases? Oasi? Huh, it wasn't often she didn't know the correct word, but at the time Nayru didn't actually care enough to go digging too deeply in her memory to figure out if she truly didn't know it or if it was just tucked away in some half-related memory
At any rate, she was now standing in the... relative... shade of the wall outside the ramshackle village she had spent the night at after returning from her little 'adventures' with Shara and Kenshin elsewhere in Elibe. The whole thing was pretty much built up against and extended into the cliff face of the pass, one of Nabata's few larger natural monuments - and where one of the larger trade routes came in from the North. From Etruria, as it so happened, whence she was expecting a certain someone... not a common occurrence for her but there were some unusual people out there, was there not?
The thought that if for some reason Etruria ever invaded Nabata, this route would likely be one of their major travel routes, came to mind somewhat unbidden, but for today Nayru was stressed enough to not actually care too much about that either. She was busy trying to keep her thoughts in order and not think too much about anything, which wasn't exactly going well, but then this was going to be a really, really weird day no matter how things went. For now she just had to wait for Remus. And despite her nervousness, she was feeling... less terrified than she had been back on Vinland. It had been an interesting recent past to say the least.

So! Things Remus had learned lately. Dragon's hit hard. Zealots could be horrifying. Nabata sucked. He'd trudged along the dirt road with a large brown wide-brimmed hat that he'd purchased before taking the ferry to Khan Yunis. Having known virtually nothing about Nabata, or the desert, or a hotter climate, Remus didn't know what to expect. So he had to get supplies. He had water-skins in excess, because traveling the desert was a monstrously dangerous under-taking. It was ironic. He'd battled fiends from the stygian black, some of Elibe's most dangerous mercenaries, and literal demonic abominations, but his most dangerous task yet was walking through a body of sand.
The priest also felt a little out of place being in such light weight clothing. A tan tunic covered his torso and thinner hempen pants shielded his body from the oppressive rays of light from the sun high in the sky yet barely contained the heat it emitted either. This let him not over-heat and still wear something to prevent the priests skin from turning red enough to be confused for a lobster of the Eliminian faith. His body truly wasn't ready for the oppressive lethal heat of death climate of Nabata.
An unfurled map was clung within shaky hands. Tilting his head and gazing about as best he could, while ignoring the sweltering heat all around him that stifled each breath far more than he'd have liked. The priest was examining about before he spotted a silhouette. Wait a minute. He know that silhouette! That was the silhouette he was looking for! His silhouette! The priest flashed a bright smile, slightly cracked lips curling happily before he ran forwards to wave a hand towards her excitedly. Briefly forgetting the terrible heat that was threatening to perpetually leave him in a state of unhappyness.
"Ah! Nayru! Hello~! How are you doing? I er..didn't have a hard time finding this place but there's um...alot of sand in Nabata. It's also very hot. Really really hot. How do you ever get used to it!? It's so...well..hot!!"

Well, that was a thing. The heat didn't bother her much but boredom was a hell of a drug; usually Nayru ended up wrapped in her memories if left to her own devices for too long, but the need to actually stay alert had left her with little to do and a deep sense of 'oh Sky please something happen soon', an itch that Remus was thankfully finally here to scratch. The dragon had learned something about patience in her travels over the last few centuries of course, but there was a difference between waiting and merely passing the time, as the day had reminded her.
Sort of ironic actually. She'd been so busy in the last few months, year, whatever, that she hadn't had as much time to even end up in those situations. Whatever the case, Nayru greeted her priestly friend with a casual wave and a smile, pushing off of the porous wall but allowing him to come to her, in the relative shade, rather than trying to meet him in the middle of the desert sands. She took the time to inspect him a little; it was... strange to see the walking blueberry NOT clad in blue and white as was his wont, but on the flip side she would have had to have a bit of a discussion about appropriate desert clothing if he just wore the normal stuff, so it wasn't a problem. Just strange. Remus and blue were like water and blue, they just... were a thing.
Slightly grateful that he (probably) couldn't read thoughts, the dragon greeted him with a casual "'Sup" that may have been SLIGHTLY forced in the wake of her nerves. Not so much at meeting Remus, but their plans for the day. Trying not to think too much about that, she continued in response to his own greetings. "Almost like it's a desert or something, right?" Nayru chuckled, probably slightly more amused at her own joke than it had actually been funny. "One way or another, you get used to it. Stay in shade, bring lots of water, or better yet just don't go outside during the day." Hey, it was the truth, there was a reason that they had houses.
All jokes aside though, it was difficult not to notice the elephant in the room, and she wasn't talking about Remus's hero complex. His staff looked... very different. Like someone jammed the old one up a dove's ass and called it a day. "Hey uh, Remus, don't look now but I think your staff ate a bird or something 'cuz it's got wings now."

So that was another tip. Stay out of the desert at Day. Did they travel at evening then? Though he imagined that Nayru had long since acclimated, he didn't know if he would have the time she did to. Though he felt as out of element as he looked, missing his signature blue robes. That was for sure. Remus continued grinning sheepishly, tilting his head for a moment as he chuckled abruptly. Nayru, every the source of amusement among many other things. Like danger. Near death experiences. Thought provoking conversations. Near death experiences. Oh, and heartfelt moments. Oddly enough. The young Etrurian's tone did not make any effort to hide this mirth even if the deserts of Nabata would attempt to.
"Ahah..well..it certainly doesn't seem to bother you nearly as much! At-least no where near what it seems to bother me. Hopefully I'll get used to it quickly! I'd be loath to lose my sanity because of a bunch of sand dunes and some hot air!"
He wouldn't put it past the desert though. He'd heard tales before. Men seeing ghostly images of things that were questionably real or flat out absurd. That delved into the literal realm of insanity. Then there were the dangers of over-heating. All in all, he didn't much like the idea of a place where just being there could kill you. Though it made sense why the dragons would have a haven in such an environment. Then, Nayru drew attention to his new acquisition. The staff he'd stumbled upon. While he was exceptionally fond of it, and found its aesthetic to be beyond pleasing, he knew it stuck out with great ease. It also drew a tad more attention to the priest than he'd have liked. He lifted the staff up slowly so it could be examined further before tapping it lightly on the ground. He chuckled before tilting his head to gaze curiously towards Nayru.
"Oh this? I ah, found it in a cave in Ilia, strangely enough. It was a rather intense series of moments when I did. It seems exceptionally receptive to my touch however and even my magic! It also er..has a trick up its sleeve that I only recently learned about that may make our adventures slightly easier down the road! I don't really know much about it, like where it came from or why its there. What I do know is that I intend to learn more or research more about it when I get an opportunity. Ahah..so yeah!"

Nayru chuckled at Remus's comment about the climate here not bothering her as much. It was true, for a number of reasons. She just hadn't thought about it a great deal in the last few centuries. "Well, I was born and raised here... probably." Yeah, that one had started coming out before she had time to actually think it through. Mysterious backstories folks, was she right or was she right? "First century and a half of my life anyways, though the climate was a... little different. You get used to it. Where do you think I got this sexy tan?"
Running her fingers down her left side with a smile and a pose, Nayru grinned without any sense of shame or remorse for her silliness. "Also halfshifting helps, but it's still smart to wear a little something over the top if you're planning on trekking through the day, which we're going to be stuck doing to make sure I have enough visibility for landmarks. Some are pretty far away and not well visible at night, and, well, where we're going, we need to be exactly where we should unless you like the ideas of wandering the desert 'til we die from dehydration." Nayru the Optimist, ladies and gentlemen! Watch her crush hopes and dreams like children's toys, only four gold for an evening of unending despair!
The dragon was actually a little bit disappointed that the bird looking stuff on the staff didn't actually flap its wings, in much the same way that a child who discovered santa claws wasn't real might react (he was totally real though f**k the haters), but she listened to his explanation with interest nonetheless. Mysteries and secrets and hidden truths, just the way she liked it, ESPECIALLY from something you relied on to keep you alive. Was that sarcasm? Nayru realized she actually couldn't tell, it had become so ingrained in her that there wasn't really not-sarcasm anymore. "Huh. Well, looks fancy, got that going for it at least." Picking up her pack and the folded robe from their rest against the wall, she turned her attention back to Remus properly. "So, you ready to get moving or need a break first? We've got a lot of ground to cover today."

Riiiight. Dragon's lived a long time. Possibly forever? Nayru hadn't specified. All the priest knew was that she'd lived for several life-times and continued to look much the same as the priests sister in age. That is, not much older than him. Yet he had no trouble remembering that she had more experience and knowledge than most likely any human alive in worldly travels. So with this as a healthy reminder, he couldn't help but chuckle quietly at her response regarding her tan and her natural acclimation. His gaze lowered as he moved to the side, briefly looking away from the terribly cruel desert sun before he would speak up thoughtfully.
"Well I er...can't half shift. So that option is out! But I do have plenty of water skins, which are currently all full of water except for one I recently drank a little bit from. So we don't have to worry about that as much! Though I will simply have to do my best to keep up with you while we search for these um..landmarks. I will try not to slow you down at all."
Nodding brightly, the priest tapped his staff softly to the sandy road, dirt and granules of Nabata's desert mixing to make a far softer surface than he was used to. Having no tiny amount of pride well up within simply from her noticing and complimenting his new staff. He couldn't wait to show her the hidden power that he'd discovered within it. Hopefully however that opportunity wouldn't arise until many weeks down the road when they were away from the peaceful home of dragons and humans. His tone picked up that usual upbeat one that Remus always had.
"Yup! I've come to find it's aesthetic very pleasing personally. Especially when normal staves look so...plain. Ahah, but I should be good to continue traveling honestly! Though I will find it unpleasant, your company would at-least make it less so! I am ready when ever you are Nayru, heh."

"Yo, you ever think about how weird that name is? Water skins?" Nayru shook her head in poorly masked distaste. "Like, were they invented by a guy who liked flaying people alive and filling up their skin with water?"
The question hung heavy on the air, pregnant with the demon spawn of the Great Satan Nayru herself, before the aforementioned patron of all that was wrong with the world guffawed like a drunken donkey and slapped Remus on the back, thankfully remembering not to do it with enough force to introduce his spine to the wall at the speed of light. "Nah, I'm shitting you. Most are made out of animal bladders, usually cows or sheep. Nothing like the taste of piss, eh pardner?" Still grinning, Nayru swirled the protective cloak around her body as she donned it all fancy-like, completely unnecessary but very much trying to keep her mind in the moment rather than focusing on oh she didn't know m*th*rf**k**g ARCADIA.
"Anyways," Nayru said, not unkindly in the wake of what she thought might have been a tiny bit of pride in his voice, "The staff does look good on you. Makes you look a bit more regal." While part of her attention was wrapt in preparing herself to match Remus's, though much more quickly given her experience, Nayru kept her eye to the sky as she tried to gauge conditions. "The journey will take a few hours at least, and we may have to stop along the way for shelter... we're past the zenith of the day's heat, but sandstorms, accidents, attacks and unexpected dunes can all slow down or halt travel entirely... and there'll be one big sandstorm we may have to deal with as well."
Nayru knew exactly where Arcadia was of course. Her memory transcended even the eidetic, capable of bringing past scenes to life with absolute clarity. But that would avail the two of them little if they couldn't bypass the raging sandstorm bypassing Arcadia; it would likely kill Remus, potentially even her given time, and almost as importantly it could also throw off her navigation severely and potentially still leave them lost in the storm until they both definitely died. She had a few tricks in stock to get past it without any issues, in theory, but the real test would be the moment of truth when she discovered which of them actually worked and which would be about as useful as a fart in the wind.

Remus didn't know much about water skins. Not that he'd ever wanted to or thought to, but at the same time now he did. The priest cast a slightly hesitant glance towards the water skins around his side while his left hand lightly tugged at the shoulder strap of one to adjust the rope around his neck so it wasn't cutting blood flow to his shoulder as it was starting to. The faint sense of tingling ran the length of his right arm as if it was assailed by pines and needles that danced along the surface of his skin. His gaze moving back to Nayru after a second when she changed subjects.
His expression brightened though when she complimented how he looked wearing the staff. Smiling brightly before tapping it on the ground idly and nodding towards Nayru almost excitedly. He was clearly as fond of the staff as he looked to be, and he cast his gaze towards it with a fondness before he looked past Nayru to the path ahead. Pondering what she spoke of while feeling increasingly out of his comfort zone. This was a new experience for him. Then again, most of the "New experiences" he'd had were involving Nayru. First time having to heal himself. First time nearly bleeding to death. First time getting stabbed. First time nearly dying. First time encountering a monster up close. First time getting mugged. First time nearly falling to his death. First time entering ruins. First ti- wow, he'd really not had great luck the past few months.
Well he could only hope that tour guide Nayru wouldn't lead him astray. His questions though were nearly endless shockingly involving the deserts of Nabata.
"So..what are some of the biggest do's and don'ts of the desert? I um..read up on it but well..if I've got an expert with me why not double check, right?"
He gestured to her before shuffling a few steps closer as an indication that if she started moving he would follow. This time, he was planning to stay behind her and literally follow her lead.

"Well, if you're smart, you don't go anywhere during the afternoon, you only travel by caravan, you stay on the roads, you stick with groups, you ride something rather than walk, and you don't head out into the deep desert." Pausing only long enough to let that sink in, Nayru continued with a wolfish grin. "So basically, we're fucked, but there's not much choice. If Arcadia was any easier to get to, someone would have found it after all. The heart of the desert is a strange and magical place, we're bound to run into unexpected trouble along the way. Best you can really do is have cover, water, and a tour guide, so the sooner we get out the sooner we can die together in the desolate wasteland!"
Oh she was just full of f**k**g Christmas cheer today wasn't she? Nayru knew that she dealt with stress with humor, or more accurately sarcasm, but today she was just running at the mouth like a malfunctioning pump spewing diarrhea at unprecedented rates. Even the familiar feeling of sand shifting, sliding, crunching beneath her heel didn't do much to keep her nerves down; there was just too much that could go wrong in Arcadia alone, minor and major.
Though to be honest, she was a little worried about the journey as well. Nayru was pretty comfortable with anything she could punch, but you can't punch a sandstorm, and a big enough one would flense the flesh from Remus's bones. Quicksand, scavengers, bandits, wild animals, dehydration, heat exhaustion... she had to try to balance their travel speed slowly enough that Remus wouldn't have trouble keeping up, even if it meant they wasted time compared to her traveling solo, but still move fast enough to cover the significant distance before they ran out of daylight, or tempting fate by staying out there too long. At least Arcadia would be safe to rest at and much less difficult on Remus's health once they got there, though, and the trip back would be far easier most likely.
She sighed, wishing she hadn't actually let her brain turn on for once. Some things were better left to instinct. "Look, just stick close to me and let me know if you need a break. We're trying to juggle a lot of problems here, best to keep it simple."

So. There was that. Initially he was confused and doubting the idea of them traveling at that moment when she mentioned not going anywhere during afternoon. Wasn't er..it afternoon? They also weren't traveling in a caravan, and they were walking. Oh, and from what she'd implied they were going to be traveling deep into the desert. So..wasn't that fun? Though if he had to be in the physical manifestation of the words "Terrible, Awful, uncomfortable, and lethal" why not be there with a best friend? That, at-least, he could do. The blue haired priest chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, briefly noting just how heated his body was. Again, this atmosphere at work. He really wasn't used to any of it.
Though while Nayru spoke, Remus nodded quietly and clasped his hands quietly together with his staff ensnared between either pronged palm while fingers coiled tightly around. The young Etrurian priest nodded towards the taller female with his gaze sweeping the sandy wasteland landscape. He wasn't sure he'd ever feel ready but he could certainly try his heart out to just trudge through it! Especially if he was going to have a friend present. Though his mind began to drift to the notions of what in particular could be a threat. Dangers abound really was what he imagined. That wouldn't prevent his tone from being upbeat though! Chuckling mid sentence he smiled brightly at her. His warm smile a more welcome aspect of warm to the crushing oppressive death heat Nabata offered.
"Well, no matter what I will simply trust you Nayru~! For good or ill, hehe. If I get tired, I promise I'll speak up! Though I can only hope that we'll be able to get there fairly free of troubles. Who er..am I kidding though right? Heh, it is us."
The idea of them being free of trouble was like asking the ocean to be free of water. It was always the thoughts that counted most though right? The priest was ready for this grand journey. The idea of finding a hidden dragon city still had him feeling giddy and slightly shell-shocked from the notion of it all. He couldn't wait to confirm what his mind tried to conjure up.

Trust, huh? Nayru wasn't sure how she felt about that. Oh she knew Remus meant well, but 'trust' was this thing that had a nasty habit of going to crap real fast without any warning, and it also had a habit of getting people dead for stupid reasons. Needless to say she didn't wish either fate on Remus, but the reality that she might have already done that by dragging him along on this little expedition was not lost to the dragoness. SHE was the one who would be at fault here if Etruria lost its hope out here. Gave a bit of incentive to be extra protective, huh? Not that she needed it too much, but a thought to remember. She wasn't just traveling on her own now. She couldn't just walk until she got bored, or a sandstorm big enough to threaten her occurred. She had to remember that she was... with people now.
"Yeah... trust. That's what I was afraid of." Her tone was a little uncharacteristically dour, but with enough false humor to reasonably come off as a joke, even if it really wasn't. Good ol' Nayru, couldn't say what she actually meant if her life depended on it. But dragons are totally superior to humans emotionally and intellectually, right? "Anyways, let's get moving. We're wasting daylight."
------
Half an hour later, Nayru stared dourly as the previously smooth desert broke more into a series of dunes that stretched far into the distance, based on her observations from the top of the dune she was standing on now. "Must've been a pretty wicked sandstorm recently," she commented, taking the opportunity for a short break - so far as the burning desert allowed for 'breaks' anyways - and to make sure she hadn't lost Remus back there at Alberquerque. "How're you holding up there, bud?" They had made good time so far, but that had been expected - flat land, near civilization, nothing too zany to deal with in the wise of man or beast alike. This was the start of the real adventure.... if by 'adventure' one actually meant 'pain in the ass.'

Wasting daylight? That seemed like it wasn't such a bad thing really, given that every discomfort Nabata had offered him thus far was because of daylight. That was to say not really the existence of daylight, but constant exposure to it. The heat was rather brutal after all. Even when in the cool shade that let air be a solid ten degrees or so cooler than the space fully oppressed by the day's sunlight without any interference, it was still hot in the darkened spaces. The fact that Remus was in the shade and still sweating while the sweltering heat filled every breath and assailed him in excessive warmth made him realize that the dangers of the desert were likely much greater than he initial imagined. So what made more daylight bad? Oh well..perhaps only one way to find out.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained after all...
---------------------
So far it hadn't been so bad. Walking on dry broken dirty land, or crumbled broken up sections of brick like mud wasn't hard. It provided a solid surface and plenty of rebound each step. It was the sneaking suspicion though in his mind, that things would get much more difficult once the sand was all over the place. Occasionally patches of sand became more regular, until the veil of granule flooring was consistent. Once the sand grew more common and accumulated into more of a layer, he began to feel the difference between each step. His feet sank a little into the sand when he pushed off to step further. This built up. He felt his calves and thighs slowly tingling with a faint burn. It wasn't an immediate issue, but he knew that it would definitely build up.
Remus slowly lifted one of his water skins to cracked lips, indulging very briefly in the refreshing taste that water offered while daring to lick his lips briefly to wet them so the skin didn't remain cracked. He delicately capped the skin though to ensure no precious water spilled. The weight of his pack upon his back definitely noticeable now that they'd moved to a mass of sand. The priest turned to gaze at Nayru as she looked into the distance, and he saw what looked like a literal and actual ocean of sand. His heart sinking slightly as he saw nothing but vast wastelands and finally got his first taste of the real Nabata.
"Um...I'm good right now but ah..goodness...that's A lot of sand. Er..I imagine there isn't much between here and our destination beyond sand...is there?"

"I f**k**g wish," Nayru retorted rather quickly, the long suffering agony of actually knowing just how f**k**g shitty the desert actually was evident in her aggrieved tone. "You'll learn to hate the sand, but it's everything NOT sand that makes it worse. We've got a gorge to cross later, some... areas to skirt, about the only thing you're liable to actually enjoy is a small oasis I remember about two thirds of the way there, and even that'll just be a short break, it's in the most dangerous portion of the desert so we can't really stop there for long."
Well, assuming it was still here, anyways. It'd been a good four hundred years since she'd last visited it. But Nayru just had to hope it was there, for Remus's benefit as well as her own sanity. "-But yeah, there's a lot of sand too. Now lemme teach you a bit about dunes." Staring down the fairly large decline ahead of them, she was struck by memories of a much younger version of her dune surfing, not burdened by concerns such common sense or even sanity. "Ah, brings back memories. Anyways, first lesson: if you try to go down a dune fast, you'll get to the bottom real f**k**g fast, and probably digging yourself out of the sand. Take it slow, and remember that its murder on your feet to be at that angle, if you get too sore it's fine to try to go down sideways for a bit instead."
Her tone was gently firm, dropping the pretense of jokes in order to better convey the relative seriousness of the situation. "That said, you're not gonna die if you try surfing down one, you'll just end up with sand everywhere. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere. f**k sand." Speaking from experience there. From the heart. The words of a girl whose heart and soul had been torn out and ravaged by the cruelties of sand. Swallowing the heartbreak that still consumed her very being, and also the overdramatic bullshit that she wasn't actually serious about, Nayru started her own slow descent, half tempted to try to surf it but stuck with the horrible, nightmarish reality of the fact that she probably shouldn't be a bad example for Remus right now.

So. It was okay to hate sand. However it didn't stop from just sand it sounded like. Curiosity struck him. Gosh, wasn't that a shocker, Remus being curious? He looked down the sharp slope of the sandy dune quietly while using his staff to slightly test out the dune itself. It wouldn't exactly work well as a hiking stick for the length of their trek as long as they were in sand, so he'd have to keep that in mind. In-fact....the priest briefly shifted and slid his staff through the straps in his back that bound his back pack of supplies and the water skin straps so it was firmly pinned to his back. The ornate wings pressing ever so slightly into his neck and upper shoulder, but nothing he couldn't handle. If anything it was a sharp enough sense to keep him focused. The heat had a way of luring him into a lull of sorts if he wasn't careful. He could only imagine how bad that would get as time went on in the desert.
Nayru seemed more sure of herself, but Remus was a bit more hesitant. His first step was less with knowing caution as much as it was like a kitten quietly testing a body of water for the first time with a hesitantly outstretched paw. His foot quietly pressing into the side of the sand. Aside from a few trails of thin grain cascading around either face of his foot and him sinking about an inch into the dune...nothing. He did have to use a bit more effort to make each step though and it definitely did not go unnoticed. As he began to get a bit of a pattern, and slowly descended the first of many sand dunes, Remus thought back to something Nayru said.
If the oasis was a place with water why...
"Why would the Oasis be the most dangerous spot? Wouldn't it er..be the safest since it has water? Or um..is there something I'm missing?"
Gorge? Ha! Gorges and canyon's couldn't overly scare him, after the vinland incident. His fear of heights had been fully confronted when he nearly fell to his death. Sure he wouldn't throw himself over it confidently while flicking a thumbs up at Nayru, but he wasn't nearly as afraid as he would've been prior to the island adventure. Though when she mentioned surfing down the dune, and the effects it could have to get sand everywhere?
"Nayru..that..sounds like a statement spoken from personal experience. Have you er...surfed down sand dunes before?"

"Huh?" It actually took Nayru a second to quite understand what Remus was talking about, not out of his poor wording so much as a connection not firing between what she had said and his new question. Awesome memory only worked so great after she had time to arrange the information and store it properly so to speak, in the moment it was very easy to forget things. "Oh, the oasis is fine, it's just everything around it that isn't. It's almost untouched territory... dangerous magics lingering from the Scouring or maybe even older, ancient crypts, mutated wildlife, sand people, and the worst sandstorms Nabata has to offer, and that's just the most common stuff. It's territory almost untouched by humanity in a millennium or longer."
"And hell yea I did, I was pretty active as a kid - if I wasn't already in trouble, I was about to get into some." She giggled, more or less used to descending dunes to the point that it was something she could do by instinct. "So basically Amelia with less common sense and near-indestructability to keep me from dealing with consequences. As compared to my current, mature, ladylike self, of course." Yes... ladylike. That was exactly what Nayru thought when envisioning herself. Gentle and graceful and not at all crude or rough around the edges.
"You get used to the suction of the sand eventually, but for now just bear with it." Again, her voice was not unkind, as Nayru tried to help Remus out with their travels to minimize the stress. It was gonna suck regardless though, no two ways about that. At least nothing had gone horribly wrong... yet.
