As Mila suggested other ways that she could use her new magic, she nodded softly. Sam had come up with a number of different ways that she could use her new spell, but she was still a long way off of that. She was making progress, but it would still be a while before she could do any of the cooler aspects. Huh, she really needed to work harder to avoid these ice puns. They were just everywhere.
At the mention of food, however, Samantha was snapped out of her thoughts of various ways she could adapt her spells. She suddenly realized how hungry she was after the practicing she had been doing early, along with the display she had just given Mila, had drained her quite a bit. The blue haired mage hadn't noticed it before now because she was so focused on Mila, but it was hitting her now and she really liked the idea of getting food.
Smiling at Mila, she nodded. "Food sounds like a very good idea." As if to agree, her stomach rumbled. A blush appeared on her cheeks as it did. "I'm, uh.. pretty hungry as it turns out..." Sam looked down for a few seconds before looking back up at Mila. "And I drink would be nice as well. It's quite warm out. Maybe I could even try to make them night and cool for us." She gave Mila another small, almost shy, smile. She wasn't sure if she could actually do it, but she wouldn't know until she tried.

"Magic tends to cause hunger.. and tiredness." Mila smiled softly. The statue and fire magic took more out of her then she'd like to admit. Her stomach growled a bit too.
"The important part is that you have the tome and you are willing to learn from it. I have a feeling the fimbulur tome is going to teach you more about you than you may know. And one day we will be shooting spells at an ice version of Mr.Gravel Knight over there." Mila pointed to the mishappen remains of the knight she had made. She pulled herself up off the ground and dusted herself off.
She opened her Gaea tome and began to focus once more. Bit by bit the remains of the broken knight crumbled into dust. Mila was doing the honorable thing and returning the warrior to the earth whence it came. The soldier had done its job and deserved its eternal rest. When the deed was done she closed the book and clasped her hands together and closed her eyes. Part of her forgot she burned her hand earlier. The clap actually hurt her to some degree.
"Thank you clay man." She then opened one eye to gauge Sam's reaction. Mila put the book away and let out a light sigh.
"I'd appreciate any sort of cool comforting thing on a hot night." Okay. That one was kind of lame. She smiled softly at Sam. The sage had a feeling her comment would fly over the blue haired mage's head. She motioned for Sam to follow her. Together the pair of them returned to town and savored what foods they had to offer.
