Kenshin probably already read this at KH BC, but most of you haven't(if you're still even here...)

Missed me much?
If there is someone to blame for my dissapearance, it's my ISP. My stupid and idiotic ISP.
I moved to this house(which, mind you, is only 5 blocks away from my last one) the 29th November. The first week it was getting things into place, so I didn't get to use the PC at all. I had already phoned the central of my ISP to move the internet connection from one house to the other(and finally upgrade it to 512 kbps as well), and they told me they would come here to install it before Christmas(!). By the way, Merry (late) Christmas(I myself got nothing but a t-shirt and a pair of socks. Nothing against you, though, Sock).
Anyway, I had my PC set up and working by 10th December, the day prior to my FCE test(First Certificate in English, if you were wondering. And yes, I got an A). The guys from the central didn't come here until 8th January or so, and when they tried to get the modem to connect to the central, it didn't synchronize, so they tried like 5 different modems without any luck. They told us to call again to the central and complain. We did. Like 20 times or so, actually. And it didn't get solved either until we called the dad of a friend of my sister's, who is one of those on the high places of the company.
Two days ago, they came back, and even with the modem getting signal from the central, it didn't connect to the net. The guy had already checked every possible thing, and when he had called the central, they told him the problem was in my PC. I was like "The hell!? I had this very ISP for 3 years without having any problem.". It wasn't until today, when someone at the central had the "bright" idea of testing my ping at the central. Turns out that was the problem, so they just set me to another one.
Still, I don't have username nor password to connect yet, so they let me use(due to the wait I had to bear) the "tester's account", which is of the central itself. They also didn't come yet to put the new modem, so my sister doesn't have internet on her PC(which is, to an extent, good. No more slowing down).
Of course, the wait without internet totally chili cheese friesed up my Norton, and it's subscription ended, so I cannot download updates for it, and my dad decided to uninstall it(which greatly improved my PC's start up by a whole minute). So, I don't have an anti-virus at the moment and have to be quite careful at to where to go to.
As a matter of a fact, this and perhaps GameFaqs(or Yahoo to read the news) are the only places I will go to until I get myself an AV(which will probably be tonight).
Well...Is there anything else for me to say? Oh, yes, this new house is amazing. Well...sort of. It's a little bigger, and it has NO STAIRS(thank God).
Well...I guess this is it for today. I will check the entire forum tomorrow, once I have an AV, and perhaps even my own pass and username...perhaps. Those guys are so lazy that I don't even know if they will come to bring me my new modem and account stuff.
P.S. I think I just wrote more than a thousand words. Someone care to check?
