Things did not look good for the two stronger warriors. Lyndsey knew she was much weaker than both Alan and Dray'Gon, and they were having difficulties handling the bandits. They'd need the help of the others, soon. Gritting her teeth, she dove in, aiming for the unconscious wyvern lord. "He's mine!" she screamed, drawing out her slim lance. The scream did what she'd hoped, distracted the warrior long enough for Lyndsey to scoop up Alan. Desperate to avoid the warrior, she tried to carry the heavy wyvern lord away. The weight made her easy pickings for the archers about, and she felt an arrow enter her shoulder. The pegasus, thankfully, didn't recieve any arrows, though two shots of fire had hit the mystic creature. The mercenaries were now moving into action, giving the bandits more to worry about than Lyndsey. Juchack approached the warrior Alan had been fighting, and engaged him. Teeth grit against the pain, Lyndsey retreated, trying to make it back to the oasis they'd been to early.

"That didn't seem like a lie. They are taking too long. Onward, everyone!" he shouted, running in the direction Lyndsey had pointed out. Making use of his agility, he jumped over a couple of rocks, taking a small shortcut, making it there before the rest of the group.
Taking a look around, he saw Dray'Gon facing countless bandits, and Alan lying on the ground, quite close to a man with an axe. Knowing that Dray'Gon would be able to hold on for longer, he moved towards Alan, climbing the small part of the mountain they were on, just as Lyndsey grabbed Alan, and flied away.
"Oh no, little guy, I'm not letting you do that." he said, grinning at the warrior, as another man got closer to them, wielding yet another axe. Paying him no mind, they got concentrated on each other.
They both went in circles, studying the other's moves, waiting to see who would make the first move. The warrior got impatient, and moved forward, slashing at Matis with his Steel Axe. Rolling to the side, he dodged, his trench coat getting stuck to the ground by the axe's blade. Getting kicked in the face, Matis stabbed the man on the leg, making him fall to the floor, but also falling backwards himself. Getting up fast, he kicked the axe off the warrior's hand, and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him up in the air. "Time to say goodbye, my dear friend. You knew what you were dealing into when you came here." Matis threw the guy off the mountain, as he fell down, all the way to the bottom.

OoC: You ought to read through Kenshin's newest rule "Stronger People", Matis.
BiC: 'Matis is right we should hurry!' Zeiss jogged after Matis who left them all way behind.

Dray'Gon noticed Alan go down in an attempt to take out one of the warrior bandits. He would go down soon if he didn't do something quick. At that moment, he started to hear a voice in his mind. You have the power to defeat them. Draw on it! Not knowing what else to do, or what the voice was pertaining to, Dray'Gon closed his eyes, and took a moment to refocus. He felt a wave of energy come over him the likes of which he had never felt before. When he had opened his eyes, they had become red. He looked at the bandits with a burning hatred, and let out a thundrous roar, before going all out on the bandits that surrounded him. In his flurry of attacks, he came close to hitting Matis, and Juchack, but both managed to dodge the dragon. Dray'Gon continued to battle with a ferociouty that none had seen before until he had taken out every last bandit, at which point he collapsed, and susequently reverted back to human form. (OOC: As a note, anyone who sees him transform into dragon form again may notice he looks a little more like a dark dragon. Also, just because I defeated the bandits that were currently here, does not mean there aren't more that have yet to arrive. I was planning this plot idea for a while, so I appologize if it seems I ended up godmoding. :/ )

Zeiss nearly stumbled when he felt it. Wave after wave of pure energy! It's coming from the fight! Zeiss picked up speed and ran as fast as he could.

"W-what was that?" Matis muttered, mouth agape after seeing Dray'Gon relentlessly slaughter dozens upon dozens of bandits in mere seconds.
He knew that dragons were powerful, but to this extent? Roland and the rest killed the dragons, leaving only a handful alive...even when the dragons are this powerful...Do we even stand a chance against the legends of mankind?
Matis' hopes were extinguishing, but he soon saw that more bandits were on their way. How can they be so stupid as to keep fighting, after having seen their own comrades being slain like that?
Sighing, he looked at the man who had been watching him fight the warrior that attacked Alan, nodded at him, and started his way down, protecting the now unconscious Dray'Gon from the incoming menace.

Lyndsey had made it out of the battle, and laid Alan down next to the bank of the oasis. She moved about quickly, gathering water and getting her vulnerary ready. She mixed together the healing powder with some water, and applied the mush like result to Alan's various wounds. Then, she realized she'd have to start removing armor to get to more serious ones. "great," she muttered, reaching around the bulking wyvern lord to undo his armor. "Just what I want to do." Her practiced hands quickly undid the armor, and she began applying the mixture to the wounds. She ripped a piece off her own tunic, to bind some of the more serious ones. Satisfied, she moved to the pool, to clean out her own wounds. She didn't have enough vulnerary left to heal the light wounds on her, but it wasn't anything she couldn't deal with. Bent over, she began rinsing off, leaving blood and soot in the clear water.

"Yes," she answered, rising to her feet. She examined her patient, now that he was fully awake. He looked to be in good condition, must be a fast healer. Then again, vulneraries did work wonders.

Alan got on his feet again. 'We should get back, Dray'Gon will need our help.' He looked around. then he realised it. 'When you dragged me way. You didn't leave my wyvern did you? You couldn't have been that stupid.' He said with a shaking voice.

She had forgotten about the wyvern. "I couldn't very well carry it on my pegasus," she retorted, moving quickly to her pegasus. "It should be fine, so long as it's properly trained. Mounts are replaceable, riders are not." She mounted the pegasus, and waited. He'd need her to get him back to his precious wyvern.
OoC: I was wondering when someone was going to realize the wyvern was still back there...

OoC: Well, it's not like we didn't, but...what are we supposed to do? Go and calm the wyvern down? It would probably eat our hands.
BiC: Dray'Gon was still unconscious, and Matis kept fighting the incoming bandits, which, somehow, seemed to be endless.
"Dray'Gon!" he shouted again and again, trying to wake him up. It was useless. Matis kept slashing around, keeping the bandits at bay, as the man he had seen up on the mountain earlier came to help him. "Just who are you?"
"My name is Juchack." he said, and attacked close-by bandits, not saying any other word. "Matis. A pleasure to meet you." he answered, knocking a flying hand-axe away from Juchack's head with his blade. The man simply grinned at Matis, and kept the massacre going on.
Hopefully, the rest will make it here soon...I don't know for how long can we hang on in here.

OoC: I was thinking about it as soon as you people interfened. But i couldn't let Alan by physic, even if he is the only one.
BiC: 'That's the point Lyndsey, I dunno how well this wyvern is trained. But it is my responsiblity, and there isn't another wyvern for several miles.' He hopped on the back.

OoC: I saw it, but Lyndsey wouldn't pay attention to it.
As soon as Alan had joined her on the pegasus, Lyndsey took off, heading for the battlefield. From a distance, she could see a small group of mercenaries holding off bandits. By squinting, she could just make out Matis and Juchack fighting side by side. It didn't matter though, she had to find Alan's wyvern. Her eyes scanned the surroundings, looking for the beast. Finally, she saw it and started heading towards it. she had to dodge out of the way of a mis shot ballista bolt, and silently cursed the archer who had fired it. Finally, she made it close enough for Alan to jump over. She wasn't getting within range of the angry wannabe dragon.

Alan made the jump and only barely got on. 'Calm down, master is here.' He clmibed onto the seat. 'Alright Lyndsey, IT'S TIME FOR SOME HAZARD PAY!' Alan set his wyvern racing toward the bandit line.
