"Make way! Make way!" Several knights broke though the crowd the was gathering in front of the gate. They carried a platform between them with a man laid across the top. One of the escorting knights approached the guards at the gate. "Please allow us though. We carry the lord of Santaruz, Calis. He is badly injured and needs immediate medical attention."

After they let the platform through Alan spoke again. 'I think we should start worrying about Flyssa. We should head back to camp.' While they walked Miledy drew close to Alan and asked. 'Why do you care about that witch, do you forget that she fried your men?' 'Off course not, I will kill her personally when the time comes, I don't want a bandit to harm her before then.'

Matthias shrugged.
"I wouldn't worry about Flyssa. She has a tendency to vanish, and then reappear at the most damnable inconvient times," the archer shot a glance over at Alexia, as though that last comment was aimed at her as well. "I'm going to go and see if I can find Sain. If you wanna waste your time looking for the Demon Mage, be my guest."
He wasn't about to admit that the threat on the mage's life bothered him. She did need to face the music regarding her actions. Death, seemed a little harsh, but she did kill an entire squad.

Alexia heard the carriers outside, and noted who they were carrying. She glanced over at Matthias, and then darted out the doorway. Surpassing her authority, she opened the gate, and ushered the knights in. Calis lay wounded on the stretcher, just as they said. She fought back the tears as she followed silently. they carried him to their infirmary, but stopped Alexia at the door.
"We appreciate the help, but you can't follow him in," they explained. She nodded, of course she understood. She was a commoner from Pherae, naturally she couldn't be at the side of a Lord of Santaruz. Sighing she leaned against the doorway. She wanted to talk to Matthias, but she wasn't about to abandon Calis. Torn, she stood, wondering what to do.

'Miledy, get back to camp. We will meet you there soon.' 'Yes, sir!' Support mode engaged. Alan then turned to Rath, and greeted him. 'Brother, we haven't had a chance to talk yet! I was worried about you.'

Matthias watched Alan leave, and saw Alexia head deeper into the castle, following the trail of the stretcher. He debated for a while, but decided that Alan was probably overexagerrating when he talked of killing Flyssa. He headed towards the infirmary.
A few people recognized him, and he nodded. One nurse accosted him, and demanded that he change into a fresh uniform. Unable to escape her, he soon found himself dressed in a fresh uniform, and somehow cleaner than he had been in his life. Sighing, he hurried to the infirmary, hoping to get there before someone died.

Yeo tried to get to the body that laid before him but several men held him back. "Please, lay back down. You arent fully healed yet." "No! Let go of me." The men dragged him to his bed and throw him on it. One of the nurses was trying to calm him down. "Please milord. There is nothing you will be able to do but futher your injuries. You must stay in bed untill you are healed." Yeo stopped struggling and closed his eyes. He spoke to the nurse but still his eyes reamined close. "How bad are his wounds?" The nurse didnt want to lie but she didnt want Yeo to strain himself more. "He should be alright. His cuts arent deep enough to cuase any fatal injuries. Yeo opened his eyes and stared at the nurse. He knew she was lying but he didnt say anything to her about it. He nodded and the nurse returned it. "Im gonna go outside and speak to the women that is there." "Women?" "Yes, someone that came with the Santaruz refuges. A cavalier, i think."
Once the nurse was out of the infirmary, Yeo called a knight to his side. "Go find someone that was there with Calis. I want to know what happened." The knight nodded and left. Yeo turned to look at Calis but a nurse closed a curtain around him. He then closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep but the screams of his men that died on the battlefield kept him up.

As Matthias was on his way to the infirmary, he was accosted by an armored knight.
"You Matthias?" barked the knight. Without thinking about it, Matthias nodded. The knight grabbed onto the archer, dragging him through the hallways. For a second, Matthias thought that maybe he was being kidnapped. Then, he realized that he wasn't important enough to be kidnapped, with a castle full of lords. The armored knight led him to an armory.
"This is the armory. This," he drug Matthias's hand up, and placed a red gem into it, "is your pay. Use it, to get one of those."
"But I'm an Ostian soldier, shouldn't I just get one of those for free?" asked Matthias, pointing at the weapons. The armored knight glared at him. "Alright, I'll get something."
"Bloody knights,' he muttered. He quickly found something impressive. An extra long bow, one that definately dwarfed his short bow. Sure, it had seen some action, but it was still impressive enough to warrant getting. He tested it, making sure it worked, then handed his gem to the quartermaster.
"Now, I was heading to the infirmary," mutttered Matthias, slinging the bow behind him, next to the short bow.

After a long talk with Rath (OoC: sorry dude, but this is taking too long) Alan headed into the castle, he wasn't bloody well planning on leading Santaruz' army until Calis got better but leaving without any warning would be rude.

Matthias made it most of the way out before the grizzled armory keeper called out to him.
"You're that archer who's been helping out in Santaruz, right?" he called. Matthias whirled around, expecting a conflict. The old timer looked thoughtful. "Yes, that's me, I've been off in another territory, you gonna make something of it?" demanded Matthias, glaring. The old man smiled. "I'm originally from Santaruz, I have family there. I appreciate what you're doing, even if the Lord disagrees with it," the old timer smiled, the sort of smile that reached the eyes. "let me see that short bow of yours, I think I can repair some of the damage."
Matthias handed the bow to the old guy, and watched as the quick fingers restored new life to the old thing. When he got it back, it was as good as new.
"Thanks," the archer said, looking the old man in the eye. The old timer nodded, and waved off Matthias.
"Now, get the hell outta here, I've got work to do," he barked. Understanding, Matthias placed the bow next to its new companion, and continued doing what he had been.
OoC: since starting weapons are free, I decided to have a more convient way of restoring the stupid thing than buying a new weapon. I don't want to run out in the middle of a conflict. I don't think it'll be a problem, as I'm not getting anything new...

(OoC: If you have another weapon then the Short Bow costs 100 gold, maybe it's okay but I am not sure)
Alan headed into the infirmary and was going to wake Calis when a nurse halted him. 'Marquess Santaruz requires rest and peace, whatever bussiness you have with him it will have to wait!' 'Fine, I will wait.' Alan took a chair and sat in the corner.

The nurse approaced Alan. "Im sorry, but the infirmary is closed to all personal. You can wait outside if you like."
Yeo laid back, trying to get some sleep but was failing miserable. He sat up as much as he can without straining himself. He stared at the wall, waiting for words from the knight that he sent out.

Alan stood up, he was getting tired off this talk and wanted a good night sleep. He stretched out and wanted to walk away but then the nurse called him back. 'Hey you, you do know that you have like, a million bruises right? You ain't going nowhere!' Then the nurse forced him onto a bed and told him to lay down. She pulled out here Sleeping staff and both Yeo and Alan closed their

Matthias eventually made it to the castle infirmary. Alexia was leaning against the doorway. He knew it was time to face the music. Sighing, he leaned on the other side, and tried to peer in.
"So, Calis got himself fucked up in the last fight, can't say I'm surprised. Hey, is that Alan? I've got worse injuries than him, what'd he do? Bribe a nurse?" cursing, Matthias leaned his head against the wall. He glanced over at Alexia.
"Cavalier? Can't say I'm surprised. How long did you wait before following me?"

Alexia shifted nervously. She didn't want to talk, not with Calis in the infirmary. It just seemed, wrong. To make matters worse, Matthias looked like he should be in there, and she was fine. Sighing, she glanced over at her old friend.
"I managed to escape a few weeks after you left," she explained, then she closed her eyes. "You really should've talked to be before taking off like that."
