OoC: Thankfully, he's walking. BiC: Dirk quickened his pace to the castle at the end of town, several injured soldiers were standing guard. He saw a familiar face who had taken control. "You, you must be Marcus..." "Yes, since no one found any trace of Kenshin, Matis, Matthias, or anybody else, I'm the temporary leader of Ostia. Until they come back. If we were to have some kind of a fight right now, we wouldn't stand a chance."

"A being of great power is approaching." said Dirk, he felt the power of Roland. "What?! How could Bern regroup so easily?" said Marcus, who was currently stroking his beard. "It isn't Bern..."
OoC: Hurry up and finish with the going to other countries.
A group of gaurds surrounded Roland. "It's a pity, I didn't get to fight that group of people before." Some of the newer guards looked scared to even be near the man they seen kill somebody without reason.
As a vetren of the army took a swing at Roland, he spun around the lance and got closer as his sword peirced through the man's heart.
Ostia's massive army moved towards the well known hero, after seeing what he had done to the other soldiers. One by one, every single one of them fell before Roland's mighty blade. Within an hour, Ostia was already defenseless, and Marcus, who had taken command, decided to evacuate the town, taking refuge in Santaruz.
Roland made his way to the center of the castle courtyard, and simply sat there, for hours on end...waiting. He knew they would come, sooner or later. And he was ready to take them on.
Lumino had just gotten into sight of Castle Ostia. His mouth fell agape.
The town was bathed in blood, there was not a soul around. Lumino didn't need to think twice about what had happened.
"Bern...Archavius...did you..?" Clenching his fists he immediately departed from Ostia, and started east. This had to end now, and he had to confront him.
Matthias led his merry band of heathen mercenaries to the border of Etruria and Ostia. He leaned against a tree as he surveyed his "regency." "It looks like hell," he commented, squinting. "Somethin's up..." He started heading deeper into the country, on guard against attack.
Matthias smirked. "They'll be money. I doubt whoever's here has spent everything that was in those vaults. Of course, it looks like yer gonna have to earn it before ya get paid. They'll be a hazard bonus, naturally," Matthias glanced over the mercenary. He could bully the man into working, but would rather not. Bullied minions only went so far. He began walking down into Ostia proper, bow at the ready. They'd have to make some noise to get whoever did this to present themselves.
"So. There is money involved lads, lots of it too." His companions gleamed.
They wanted money, badly.
"Hahaha! Crowley you devil!" One proclaimed while getting his sword out. They followed Matthias example and started checking the area. Crowley went to a deserted tavern and kicked the door in.
"They prolly escaped," Matthias reasoned. "An' they apparently had the time ta take some possessions." He looked at the castle in the distance. "I'd say that's our destination, m'boys," he pointed at the building. "An' that's where we'll find the trouble makers behind all this."
He glanced behind him. "Oh, and it's also where the treasury is."
