Matthias had noticed the Ostian flag. "Yeah, at this point we can pretty much assume that everyone who's not actually traveling with is us a freakin' bad guy. Check the rookie, by the way, he's probably got a vulnerary on him somewhere. Damn kids," Matthias grunted, and headed for the exit. Maybe that was everything, after all, nothing was moving, yet.

"This is the throne room...hmm, its very nice" Katara said. She looked around the room at the people in it. There was a great variety of fighters in it, and she was happy to be in thier presance. Then, she saw him. "Sokka!" She shouted.

"Katara!" Sokka yelled he ran over to his sister and hugged her. "Im so glad your okay. I didnt know that you were coming into the battle. Where's Aang?" He asked her. "He didnt come, just me." She replied. "Well, its good to have you here. Ill intorduce you to Matis when this is over and done." Sokka told Katara. Katara smiled at Sokka and turned her attention the the rest of the group.

Leaving the door open, the Ostian flag shone brilliantly. "Spies...Wonder if..."
Just then, a couple of soldiers fell from the chandeliers. Matis was right. There were spies amongst the Ostian forces, and they had told the one on command that they were coming. However, none, Marcus aside, knew that they were going to do a frontal attack with a small group, which was why no one stood near the throne room.
Nevertheless, whoever was in charge had hidden, and left guards to kill the intruders. "Time to party!" Matis dodged an axe, only to be grazed by a sword on his left shoulder, barely missing the neck. Matis unsheathed his blade, impaling the swordsman, as the rest of the soldiers still surrounded everyone in the room. Hopefully, they would manage out of this.

'Perdition!' I said and swung Haku over his shoulder. 'Up, Grimbold!'

"See, I knew this was coming," Matthias cried, diving through a gap in two soldiers to the throne. Once he rolled to his feet, he managed to get off a shot at one of the soldiers. "Stupid bastards, I almost feel sorry for them." He tried to open up holes for the others, desperate to end the surrounding assualt. "Alan, watch out, I think they've got... is that a f**k**g nomad?" how the the mounted Sacean had made it into the throne room without anyone knowing...
OoC: seriously, how many times have people in FE been sneak-attacked by Nomads? Think about it.

Alexia had been left standing in the hallway, alone with the dark robed figure. "So... who are you, exactly?" she asked. She'd figured that Matis had left her here as a guard for the retreat. Then, she heard the sounds of battle: namely Matis's sword-work, Alan's maneovering, and Matthias's cursing. Groaning, she turned to look into the throne room. Nearly everyone stood in the center of the room, completely surrounded by what looked like Ostian soldiers. Things would've been better had the soldiers not been attacking her companions. Matis had just finished off one, b but the others looked stunned. To her surprise, she didn't see Matthias anywhere, until her eyes fell on the throne. The ridiculous archer had mouted the elaborate chair, and was attempting to break a hole for the others to use. She glanced over at the cloaked figure. "If you want to join us in defeating these traitors, I don't think anyone would stop you," she commented. With that, she charged into the throne room, shouting out a battle cry. The distracting noise drew the attention of... a nomad? The Sacean only had time to see her before a lance skewered his horse. Unfortunately, Alexia had the light equipment given to all starting cavaliers, and the lance didn't finish the job. Desperate, she lunged again, hoping to finish things off. There should be enough of the good guys to deal with something like this... unless there was some leader some where.

"Watch out!" Swords clashed. A myrmidon had tried to attack Sokka from behind. Good thing that lightning-fast reactions were one of Matis' most precious skills. With a fast blow, he picked the myrmidon's blade with his own hand, and cut his head off with his own weapon. However, he had not seen the spearman to his side, which thrusted forward, ripping a hole on Mati's side, only to be kicked away by the very Sokka he had saved.
"Ugh...thanks S-sokka." Thanks Elimine he had brought a Vulnerary with him. Drinking some of it made the wounds on his shoulder, side and hands heal instantly.

'Sorry kiddo, this'll hurt. I let Haku fall onto the carpet and then i went to assist Alexia. 'That nomad has to go down before he gets a clean shot or I'm toast.' My lance hit him on the should and he fell of his horse. Then I landed ontop of him and pierced him in the chest. 'Eat that, savage low-life!' I yelled.

" A life for a life, my lord." Sokka said. He then turned around and hacked at a nearby solgier. He kept battering them down with all his might, but more kept coming in place of the last on he killed. "Ah, will this ever end! Someone find their leader, we must end this!" Sokka said.

Katara crept along the wall, slashing at anyone who got in her way. "I- I'll try looking for the leader.!" Just as she finished talking, part of the wall gave way, or, spun way, bringing her to a strange, dim, oval room. "I thought no one would ever find this place." A voice said. It sounded as if it came from all around her. "Is this the best the Ostians can do? A little girl with a little sword? Well, Im sure they send more after you. You'll make a good hostage for the time." The voice said. At that moment, a huge man dropped from the cieling. He was brandishing a huge axe. He grabbed her, completely circling her with one arm. "Kyaa!" Katara screamed. She bit into his arm and he pulled away. She resumed a defensive position, and banged on the wall she came out of. "Help!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. The man ran at her, and she just only managed to bat away his axe. She swiftly struck him in the leg and jumped back. He let out a small grunt, but seemed unharmed. She was ready for anything he could throw at her. She could feel defensive chi flowing though her body. "I'm ready." She whipered. "You'd better!" shouted the man as he ran at her.

Hopefully Alan can take care of that. If not, I'll have to show up too.
Matis had just rolled to the side, dodging an axe, which got stuck on the floor. Taking the chance, he kicked the ground, jumping into the air, and cutting the head of the bandit off.
Spears flew by, as Matis spun around, dodging most, but being grasped by some others. The good part was that, atleast now the spearmen were disarmed.
