Lyndsey urged the borrowed pegasus on, pushing to beast to the limit. She didn't have that softhearted caring nature you so often see in pegasus riders. A mount was a mount. They existed to serve a purpose. You can get touchy with it on your own time. If her pegasus died getting her to the mountain in time to save hundreds of lives, so be it.
at this speed, they'd reach the camp before nightfall. She turned her gaze East, to Bern. Assuming we don't get any visitors...

It was nearing nightfall and the two flyers had reached the camp. Alan jumped off his wyvern and was met by a dozen lances pointed at him. He didn't think he'd lose in a fight, but he hardly had time for this. 'Lyndsey...?'

Lyndsey leapt from her pegasus, fighting her own exhaustion. "He's with me, and it's an emergency!" she blurted. The mercenaries looked shocked, but lowered their lances. "We're looking for Ju..." "Me?" a familiar voice asked, stepping up. Juchack the hero looked even rougher than Lyndsey remembered. A few new scars showed on his body, and he looked the equal of Alan in combat. that fact alone almost made Lyndsey waver, but she steeled her nerve. "Bern's about to invade Santaruz. They're attacking a Sacean village a few days to the south of here," she explained, motioning back the way they'd came. We need you to survive the attack." "We? Since when have you thrown your lot in with this group?" asked Juchack, motioning to Alan. "And isn't he Bernese himself?' Lyndsey looked behind her. "Yes... but he has sided with us... Juchack, aren't you supposed to be honorable?" "You always mocked that honor in the past Lyndsey," Juchack pointed out. Lyndsey sighed, crossing her arms in frustration. "I'm calling in a favor," she said, flatly. Juchack nodded, then whirled back to his troops. "Looks like we're going to fight, boys!" the crowd shouted in response. Lyndsey smiled at Alan, pleased that things had gone so smoothly.

Alan had already half taken off again. 'Lyndsey, we need to hurry. The Bern army should be here in a matter of minutes.'

Lyndsey nodded, though she wished she could've had a longer rest. "Right." she hopped onto her pegasus, and waited for Alan to take off. She didn't remember the exact location of the village, and would most likely get lost...

(We're not going back to the village we're going back to the castle, look I dunno how to break this to you guys but the Bern army is rather... big, they can easily cover both locations and still have so many people that they'll get in the way of each other. if they are so stupid that they'll attack one enemy with an inefficient force at a time then Lumino's brother is really an idiot. I don't think that's what Lumino was going for.)
Alan took off going again, though his wyvern was quite exhausted from the continuing flying back and forth.

OoC: Lyndsey doesn't know that though. Heck, I just found out. So for now she'll just follow you. I also assumed that they'd be moving in one giant mass, heading from the village to the castle.
Lyndsey was a little surprised to find that they were flying straight back to the castle. It made sense, when she thought about it. Of course they'd want to attack two places at once. It wasn't like Bern had a small army or anything. They would probably take a little longer getting back to the castle though, seeing as the mounts were tired. Lyndsey hoped her pegasus didn't die on her...
