Crowley saw stars when he got hit by that might punch of Usha and desperately tried to get her away from him. His lungs were getting emptier by the minute, she weighed too much. He tried to give her some more punches and push her away, but it was no good. He was going to wait for this match to end. He was tired. He had one last trick, though. He let out a might burp, with a really foul smell. He hoped that would scare her off.

Tobias is not the most friendly of people, but he is perfectly willing to have a conversation with a stranger. Besides, the spar seemed to be ending, with the person on the ground becoming desperate and resorting to disgusting and pointless tactics. He would prefer to introduce himself to them one at a time, or have somebody else introduce him. He hated addressing small groups of people he doesn't know. He decided to act friendly, at least until he knew the people better.
He decided to answer, but he didn't have a good answer. He told the truth: "Well, right now I don't have anything to do, so I am just wandering until I find some work, preferably involving fighting." He wondered if these people knew of something he could do. Maybe they were doing the same thing? He would probably find out soon.

"Well we've already got a bit of a task," Wylie replied, "But so far, it's unpaid. We're just on our way to try and meet up with some friends of ours."
Wylie studied the stranger, but found nothing worth noting. He didn't look particularly powerful or agile, but still held his weapon comfortably, indicating that fighting wasn't new to him. Just another sword looking for work, Wylie deduced.
"Well, you're welcome to stay and watch the fight if you want. What's your name?"

The healer wanted to know his name. Tobias does not usually give out his name to everybody who asks, but these people were going somewhere. Maybe they would let him come along, lend what service he could? He wasn't experienced but was strong and determined. They wouldn't trust him if he didn't tell them his name, so answered the question as politely as he could. "My name is Tobias Shiallao. If you don't mind my asking, what's yours?"

The belch made Usha's nose wrinkle, but did little to move the giant fighter. She was used to living in mercenary camps, and had smelled far worse things come out of men. Still, she could tell that her weight was squishing the poor little mercenary. With one last punch she rose to her feet and backed off.
they were just sparring, after all, no need to get overly physical.
"Wylie should heal now," she stated, looking over at the healer. She then noticed that they'd been joined by a shifty looking myrmidon.

'Mr. Shiallao, since my friends Usha and Crowley have beaten each other up too bad to continue, how about you and I get some training done.' Zeiss said without getting up, introducing himself or indeed opening his eyes. I guess I should take the opportunity to see what this guys capable of, normally I'd see if he's suspicious at all but... At least I don't have to fight those two idiots now.

Tobias was wary of the shaman's request. There were very few magic users on the plains, so he had never fought one. He knew that mages didn't have much, if any, armor, but Tobias couldn't protect against the magic very well either. His only advantage would be his speed, but it wouldn't be easy to dodge magic without knowing what the magic would do. Still, it was better to gain experience in a safe environment where mistakes are not so fatal. So his reply was "Sure, I could use some practice." He moved to the edge of the area where the others were still waiting and assumed his 'ready' position, which wasn't official since he was mostly self taught. It really just meant his sword was drawn and he was ready to move in any direction.

Crowley rose back to his feet, spitting a bit of blood on the ground. Usha had been merciful.
"Buggrit, if I hadn't fallen..." He mumbled; Crowley was a sour loser. He went to Wylie and showed him his face.
"Look, my beauty, gone! GONE!" He said dramatically before sighing and opening another bottle. That should ease the pain.

Usha chuckled at Crowley's antics as she walked over to the healer.
"Heal pretty face first, my leg fine," she stated, waving her hand at her bleeding leg. Now that she was actually walking on it, she had to admit that it hurt like hell. Crowley could certainly fight, even if it wasn't with the ferocity that Usha showed.

Crowley let out a dark, short laugh. As if he would've Usha allowed to be healed first. He immediately regretted these dark thoughts and he grinned at Usha.
"Well done." He slightly bowed his head at Usha and than looked at the newcomer. Zeiss would easily deal with him. Then he looked back at Wylie.
"Pain. Heal." He frowned at the healer, while impersonating a little a child. "Puh-leeeeez?" He said while smiling and waiting to be healed.

Wylie also laughed at Crow as he touched the staff to his face. The healing energies danced around, closing wounds and cleaning away blood. After a moment, the major wounds had become merely cuts and in battle, Wylie would have stopped there, but this was as much training for him as it was for the combatants. He continued to heal until all but the usual grizzly scarring was gone.
Then, turning to Usha, Wylie said, "Just prop your leg up here, Ush. It's experience for me too," before repeating the same magic he invoked seconds before.
It wasn't until he had fully finished healing his companions that he realised Zeiss was facing off against Tobias. "This should be... interesting."

Zeiss slowly got on his feet. 'Alright, you can attack me at your own discretion now, Mr. Shiallao.'

"20 gold on Zeiss." Crowley whispered while resting his hand on Wylie's shoulder.
"Thanks for healing me, by the way, mate." He padded Wylie's back and sat himself down. He was going to enjoy this piece of action, oh yes. He was grinning already. Watching how Zeiss would reduce Tobias to ashes would be funny.

Tobias frowned. He had hoped the shaman would make the first move, letting Tobias learn what he could look for during the magic. He was fast, but timing is still important when dodging attacks. Oh well, he thought. It's just practice, and I'll probably loose anyways. They seem to be stronger and more experienced than me. His best tactic seemed to be a direct charge, as the magic would have an advantage at long range. He began the charge, but didn't go at full speed. He needed to retain his powers of observation and logic if he was to avoid the magic. He was closing the distance between them, but was ready to dodge as soon as he noticed the shaman doing something that looked suspicious.

"You seriously expecting anyone to take that bet, Crow?" Wylie asked.
He took a seat next to Crow and inspected his staff. It was very worn. There were several chips out of the shaft and the glass ball on the tip was also scratched. This has only got a handful of heals left, Wylie thought. I'll have to pick up a new one in the church of the next town.
