Jya opened up her ears and struggled to figure what kind of people were following them. It really didn't help her much, all she could really make out were gruth sounding voices. However the thing that ticked her off was the fact that there was a metallic sound of weapons. With a quick stride she rushed forward, weapon drawn, to see if there is any reaction. Unfortunately there was and it just wasn't her day, bandits. There were like six or so of them, two seemed to be archers, the other four either had axes or spears. They seemed to have planned to ambush them later, but now that the group knew that someone was on to them, they are ready for a fight.
"What should we do?"

"Well, considering the fact that they must have followed us, and are still here, I think we're in for a fight," Julian said. Normally, he doesn't like fighting if it can be avoided, but more and more recently, whenever he gets into a fight, he seems...excited. He had wondered about why the feeling came about, but could only think that maybe it had to do with his losing control. But, thoughts were for another time, and he refocused on the bandits. They seemed to be preparing to attack, with the archers moving behind the others.
"I'll try to take out the archers quickly, so as to spare you any trouble. Can we count on you in this fight, mister wyvern lord?"

“Bandits…with axes, lances, and bows…” This is not my day. Running around would even prove to be suicidal. The best that could come of this would be staying put until the rangers were done then running around like a mad person. Surveying the enemies might be worth something to someone.
The one guy who stood out to her, he was something that looked like a new recruit. It did not even seem like this guy had his armor on right. He was being pushed around by the others. There was a dark figure behind him, then some words were exchanged between the men and the solider took off. Great bait followed by the strong arms, well at least they are not a bunch of unskilled idiots. At least, one person has a brain on their side.
“Well I am going to try not to die.” Alcibie stated, “I hope you all stay alive as well. Try not to bleed too much…” She smirked shifting behind the fighting units. Jya’s blood was still on her clothes. Alcibie would need to wash them in the next town. Though, when her mind left her the enemy units came charging towards there line.

A smirk appeared on Alan's face. 'I've been dying for a fight all day. You people have picked the wrong guy to mess around with.' No need to hold back, time to take this baby for a testrun. Alan grabbed Malte from his back.

As Alan grabbed it Malte seemed to throb is his hand, and then fell to the ground as if it weighed a ton.
"Raise not the sacred lance in blood lust. It's destiny is greater then that."
Alcibie, Julian and Jya were able to hear that voice as well.

Hearing the voice, everyone, including the bandits froze. "What...who was that?" Julian asked nervously. If he thought about, Malte had belonged to Barigan, so, that would mean...Barigan just talked?! This was an unbelievable find! Oh how lucky he was to be there to hear that! The mage hurriedly tamped down on his excitement when he noticed that the bandits began to charge again, albeit a little more cautiously.
'I can't believe it! The find of a lifetime, and they want to fight!' he yelled in his head. "The faster we get rid of these guys, the sooner I can research what just happened," Julian said out loud unknowingly with a smirk. Oh, he would show these bandits not to delay his research. ...Yes, make them suffer...that little voice in the back of his head said unnoticed.
Seeing the archers at the back beginning to take aim, he launched a fireball at them that hit in between them, knocking them both off their feet but not really hurting them.

Alan sighed and let go of the legendary Spear. 'You take all the fun out of life, old-timer.' He proceeded to grab his Steel Blade. 'This won't be any fun at all.'

Jya flinched at the sound she heard and almost dropped her blade. She quickly gripped her weapon tighter out of fear. She felt extremely scared as her body shivered. Oh what should she do? It seems like anything could tick her off at the moment. Unfortunately something did happen, one of the axe wielding bandits charged after her as the archers fell of their feet. Jya managed to dodge it before stabbing her blade into his hand.

Alcibie just wrote of the talking lance as just another strange occurrence. These things seemed to be piling up as of late. Though weapons’ talking was a new one, but full blow red dragon was defiantly more interesting. Then again the burning city was disturbing…oh wait battle.
Seemed like Jya was doing well enough she had managed not to get killed yet. She also had not started bleeding all over the place. Julian on the other hand had set off that fire ball a little too close for comfort and Alan…he just looked like he got a birthday present. Alcibie almost felt sorry. Of course, that would be when she noticed the other archer he seemed to be quite entertained with the fact of sneaking around.
“Coward…” Alcibie muttered backing up from the pyromaniac of a mage. The archer’s eyes locked with Alcibie’s. She groaned and stuck out her tongue to the man. The archer became quiet worked up over the taunt. Though, it seemed like the soldier was faster. Alcibie had to jump out of the way as the crazy new recruit came running through.
“-ow eh uck?” Alcibie asked alarmed landing on the ground with a thump. She grabbed her own mouth in pain. The idiot with the spear had made her bite her own tongue. Her eyes watered a bit, but she pushed off the pain. Had the fool really run around all of them to get to her? Obviously, not the guy was standing over her horrified…of her? Alcibie glared and tossed some dirt into the guys face standing up and running before the soldier could wipe the dirt from his eyes.

The guy was still trying to get the dirt out of his eyes as he turned around because he heard someone walking up to him. Next thing he knew a sword was rammed into his face.
'Coward.' Alan said disgusted, he then turned to see an axe-user flying at him. as quick as he could Alan unsheathed his Steel sword and blocked him. then with his other arm he swung his Steel Blade half a circle, the axe user was cut in half, and the bandits started to keep distance.

Julian was normally a calm, collected mage. But after everything that had happened in the last day or so, he needed a release for his stress. So he picked the archers. Poor, poor, archers. After his initial strike, he rushed them to prevent a counterattack. One archer tried to drive him away by swinging his bow at him, but Julian just ducked underneath it. He then blasted said archer point blank with a fireball.
He then turned to find the other archer loosing an arrow, which lodged in his shoulder. With a grunt of pain, he pulled the arrow out, before launching another fireball in the direction of the archer, which connected if the bandit's scream of pain was any evidence.

Jya flinched as the axe bandit kept on aiming at her. She managed to dodge them as he kept on swinging his axe wildly. Then came the looming luck of hers as she tried to dodge another, part of her had hit the edge of the axe and she ended up tumbling over to the side. She quickly got up however, as she charged back and managed to stab him on the hand.

Checking to make sure she was not bleeding Alcibie sighed in relief. The battle was still continuing and the blasts of fire were messing with her sight. She saw Julian get hit by the arrow. She started forward on instinct then remembered that she was an easier target than they were. Stopping her steps forward her eyes darted to the others.
Alan had given the new soldier a sword to the face and cut the bandit that had jumped at him in half. This guy could defiantly kill them with one landed blow. The legs landed away from the torso with two distinctive smacks and Alcibie sighed. The leg twitched a few times and Alcibie paled.
“Gross.” The cleric stated looking up from the dismantled corpse to see Jya take a hit. Again her feet moved on there own, but when they made the sloshing sound Alcibie stopped. She looked down. The healer was standing in a pool of blood from the fresh corpse.

Jya looked around uncertainly at the size of the guy and back away out of instinctive fear. As the man charged at her she dove down between his legs to get behind him. Then he stopped and tried to turn, Jya hopped onto his back so she could get at his neck. He attempted to shake her off, but she held tight at his shirt collar. Her teacher have once warned her do whatever to survive and have taught her how to kill as quickly as possible with the type of weapon thieves used. Jya plunged her blade into the bandit's neck with both hands. Blood started to leak out as she quickly took it out. Then she moved over his neck and slitted it. However before she could get off safely. She lost her grip and fell over. At least the man didn't land on her.

With a bored look on his face, Alan approached the enemy, who were trying to edge away from him. There has to be someone ere capable enough to make me sweat a little? Meanwhile a young swordsman had sneaked up behind him. As soon as he got close Alan turned around and disarmed him. the boy immediately bolted and ran away from him, Alan didn't bother running after him. The boy thought he was getting away. Alan sheathed his Steel sword and hand went for his back. The boy was nearly in the clear as Alan pulled out a Spear and took aim.
The young swordsman never really had a chance.
