He did not see the myrmidon coming and that was nearly his end but as the girl showed off her skills Sergey rolled away. He quickly dinstaned himself from the swordfighter and threw his handaxe again.

Matthias rolled to his feet after the fighter's tackle. "Kinda desperate for cannon fodder," he quipped, grinning. Shooting at the fighter was out of the question, he'd have about an equal chance of hitting Katara. Besides, a myrmidon against a fighter wasn't a fight, it was an embarrassment. Most of the peg knights had either been clipped or were hiding. Except for four of them, which Alan and Matis were dealing with. matthias looked around, wondering what was left. Then, he saw Alexia locked in combat with an impressive warrior. And she wasn't fairing very well. Crying out in rage, he drew an arrow quickly from his quiver, moving so fast the arrow spun with the movement. Still yelling, he let it fly, sinking deep into the back of the warrior.

Alexia had been struggling against the warrior for a while now. The skilled fighter had more experience than her, and more strength. Each time her sword collided the vibration shook her whole arm. She was just about to let go of her weapon when the warrior suddenly cried out in pain. An arrow had been lodged into his back, sinking deep. Taking the advantage, she brought her sword down in a swooping arc, splitting the bandit leader's head. Exhausted, she sank back on Fleetfoot, letting her arm droop.

Lyndsey could see the wyvern rider charging the three pegasi she'd sent after Matis. She didn't have to injure the warrior, she only had to distract him from the others. She dove at him, skimming the wing of his mount with her lance. It wouldn't deal much damage, if any, but it would distract the wyvern.

"You'd better run!" Katara shouted at the fleeing fighter. A hand axe whizzed by her head. "Gah!" she cried out. He took her anger out on the next bandit that came near her, leaving his stump of a neck to collect rainwater. Matthias shot at the warrior Alexia was battling, Matis and Alan were taking care of the pegasus knights, and Sokka was... up on his feet and running twords her!

"Katara! Those vulneraries did the trick!" He yelled. "Look out!" He cried as he threw his sword at aan advancing fighter behind her. It hit the fighter in the head, killing him. "Was that the one who threw his axe at us?" Sokka asked. "No." Katara replied. "He ran away somewhere." She added. Sokka hugged his soaking wet sister. Then they both got in dual fighting positions. "Lets go." Ktara said. "Lets rock." Sokka agreed.

Not taking heed of anything else Sergey hurried to his father's body. 'No!' He cried. He hardened himself and cried. 'RETREAT!' And ran in no patricular direction at all..

Alan felt the change of balance as the slim lance hit Grimbold's wing. He considered ramming her off her Pegasus in retaliation but then one of the bandits sounded the retreat. Being a knight he backed down to give the enemy a chance to escape. 'Go, you don't have what it takes to kill me.'

Matis just stared at the battlefield. Many dead bandits, a skilled axemen running away from the battle, while Alan was on the sky, talking with one of the Pegasus Knights, while the other three watched from afar. The one in the middle with Alan seemed to be the leader of the aerial force for some reason, but she just looked at Alan, not believing what he had said. Alan was giving them the chance to escape, without having to die for it.
All the foot soldiers had run away, and only blood and corpses remained on the village. The villagers should be somewhere nearby. Perhaps even inside one of the houses. Matis let Alan take care of the remaining four Pegasi, as he ran from house to house, trying to find the villagers...if there were any left alive.
Lady luck was on his side! Matis found a locked door on one of the houses. It seemed weird, considering all the other houses were completely open. He tried knocking it down with body slams, but the door was too strong for him. Taking out his bloody blade, Matis slashed vertically, cutting the door in two, making it fall down inside. The villagers...they were all alive and kicking. Literally. They were trying to free themselves from the ropes that were binding them.

Matthias followed Matis, weary lest there were more bandits hiding somewhere. When the villagers were revealed, he moved quickly. "Jeez, those guy's must've been desperate," he muttered to himself as he untied villagers.

The odds did not look well for the gang This angered Lyndsey, but she could do little about it. The added insult that the wyvern rider handed to her further increased her rage. Her training took over, and she simply glared at the warrior. Motioning for her squad to follow her, she retreated.

Alexia practically fell off her horse in an attempt to dismount. Exhausted, she leaned against one of the houses, letting the rainwater wash away the blood on her equipment. the fierce battle had drained her, and now that her adrenaline rush was over, she felt completely drained. She closed her eyes and rested, waiting for further orders.

Just as the last villager was finished being untied, there was a thumping from behind another door in the building. After two more thumps, the door finally crashed down, and a Manakete with green wings busted out. He lokked angered and was prepared to head out of the building when he noticed armed men in the building. They did not seem like the same men from before that locked him away so he did not prepare to attack right away, but he was unsure of their intentions, and thus gave them a stern looking over.

OoC: Manakete is for singular. Manaketes is for plural. >_>
BiC: Matis had taken his sword out when he heard the first knock at the door, and didn't put it down after seeing such a weird man. He looked like a half human and half wyvern beast, but he did not seem bad. There was an aura of goodness around this new...person, so to speak.
"Who are you?" Matis asked. He couldn't take his eyes out of those big, green wings.

The man hesitated, but seeing as he was in no position to fight against a large group, he answered. "You do not look like you are with those bandits, so I shall tell you mine name at least. My name is Dray'Gon." Before letting out any more information, Dray'Gon questioned, "...and what is yours?"
