(OoC: Got the thread title from something Nat said. It IS what we set out to do after all. Also, yeah Crow that sounds like a cool plot. I'm up for that.)
There was no clearly defined border between Ilia and Etruria at the point they crossed over. No border guards, not even a clearly defined path. That said, Wylie had a definate feel for when they passed into Etruria. He had an eye for changing vegetation and things like that. The air also seemed a touch warmer.
He reached down and rubber Alia's neck. She'd done well over the tricky terrain. The others' mounts had likewise come through it without any problems.
"So Tobias," Wylie said, speaking up. "Is there anything else you learned about Delfia while you were with Zeiss that might help us now?"

Tobias was very surprised that Wylie was talking to him, so surprised that he actually looked at him. After all, Tobias did give him a very ugly scar across his face. Ah well, it was about information, and that's what he was here for.
"I think I already said everything, but I'll run through again to check," he said. "Delfia is controlled by someone called the High Inquisitor, and he's gathering an army to take over the world. Something like that. And all the citizens are going to try to kill us on sight. I think that's it."

(OoC: Okay, great! Oh, btw, we're going to meet up with Rayl's group, anyone got problems with that?)
"Mmm, I heard of this High Inquisithing. He was supposed to hire me, but then I met Matthias. Good times." Crowley was amazed by the way fate had messed with him. He was now part of the good side, the heroes.
"Anyway, less talking, more riding."
After a few hours of riding, walking and the occasional resting since Crowley's back was killing him (sleeping on the hard, hard ground is bad for your health), they finally arrived in a village, they were almost in Delfia, but it seemed smarter to rest up a while in this village, because Delfia would be enemy territory, and they'll be hunted down there. They must get goods in this village. Hopefully they won't encounter too much trouble.
(OOC: TO OTHER TRAVEL PARTIES; such as Rayl's; we'll meet up here. Deal?)

Natalie just enjoyed the peace of their ride as they made their way to the town. After all, they may not be able to enjoy many moments like these again. Continuing on in this vein, the thief began to wonder if they would all make it out alive. She hoped they did. After all, she wanted to continue living, especially if it could be with Wylie.
When they arrived, Natalie shook herself free of her musings and asked, "So, do we want to do first? Find an inn and something to eat, or gather supplies?"

"We should probably get some supplies first," Wylie responded, "because once I get some food into me I won't be wanting to go anywhere." He emphasised this statement with a stretch.
"Either way though, we'll need some long hoods or something to disguise ourselves. Everyone here is a potential enemy."

(OOC: Fiiiiine...we'll unluckily for me, I decided to scout ahead and am probably going to get beaten half to death by Crowley's boot.)
Speaking of long hoods and disguises, everyone's favorite unlucky cavalier, having decided to scout the village they had spotted up ahead, Rayl, hidden beneath his cloak and bandanna, wandered the streets. Heck, you can't blame him, what with the fact he was doing business Etruria and this Kraftley person would PROBABLY not like.
Ignoring the stares people were giving him, Rayl turned his attention to some people talking in the distance, and an old thought bubbled into his head: That day he was half drunk and basically insulted Crowley and Co...and then he realised who he was watching from beneath his disguise: it WAS Crowley and his group, though there were obvious changes, as that she-man (Usha) wasn't with them.
And so Rayl figured it was a much better idea to hide in a nearby alley and watch. What were they doing here? Were they out go get him? Or was he just getting paranoid from all this hiding and whatnot?
(OOC: Dude, Tobias, he doesn't have a horse right now. At all. unless you want me to ask Santa Athos for one at christmas...)

"Well, even before we do that," Tobias said, pointing at the gap between two buildings, "We should kill the guy who's doing a very bad job of trying to sneak up on us through that alley. Please?" By the time he finished, the maniac grin had returned to his face and he was trying to decide what the most painful death would be.

Crowley turned his head and saw a hooded guy standing in the alley. A chill was sent down his spine. A spy? An assassin? A mage? It could be anything. His hand was already on the hilt on his sword and he gestured his comrades to come closer. He whispered to Wylie, while he kept looking at the hooded figure.
"A trap? What's his business?"
While he waited for an answer Crowley sent his horse closer and closer to the alley. He made sure to be slow, and non alerting. His whole body said 'I just want to talk'. And if the hooded figure didn't want to talk, he'll just have to die.

Rayl took a moment to evaluate the horses' movements, and being a rancher for years, used that knowledge to determine Crowley's actions, and drew his sword, before stabbing it into the ground, lowering his hood and bandanna, revealing his face, a smirk on his face," Long time Crowley, sorry if I started to freak you guys out or something, but I've been on the run for awhile. Dragon-sized problems."
That would have sounded like sarcasm if someone else had heard it, but surely Crowley would notice the lack of said sarcasm in his tone, "In case your wondering why I'm here, I decided to investigate rumors of an army of mercenaries being formed, and I'm guessing your here to sign up, eh?"

"Right, and so I say to him," Now...who could that be? Thats right! Its the one, the only, Night in tattered leather armor! And he had a barmaid on each arm. He grinned as he spotted Rayl, and stopped. "Sorry, ladies, I'm afraid this is where we part...But I will never forget you." he said with a bow. Giggling, the girls went off on there merry way. "...Where the hell did I even get those two?" he wondered. So much for never forgetting...
"Heya, Boss!" he shouted in an unneccisarily loud voice...since they weren't all THAT far apart. "I was wondering when I'd catch up to you!" With that 'Look at me, I'm the effin' Terminator, b*atch!' grin, he charged, grabbed Rayl in a sleeper hold, and gave him a big brother style noogie.

Crowley raised an eyebrow at the newcomer who seemed to be strangling Rayl. Rayl The Great. The Arrogant. Oh, he remembered him. And he didn't like him. Wylie knew him as well. Rayl didn't show great sportmanship when travelling with Wylie and Crowley, and even managed to insult them.
Crowley remembered. If he was an animal, he'd be the elephant. An eye for an eye. Crowley listened to what the kid had to say and grunted. His eyes became mere slits and his face went slightly red.
"Mph. And what you need ME for? And why the hell do you think I'm going to sign up for this army, you fool. I'm here for more important issues. And THESE people, are going to help me with it." And he pointed at the others.
"What could YOU offer me?" He said with a smirk. He didn't think too highly of Rayl.

Night stopped the noogie to devote more time to look at Crowley. "Well, for one thing, we could probably remove the stick up your a*s, no promises though." he commented with his own annoying little smirk. "Or maybe we could buy you some makeup and a pretty dress so you won't be so depressed about your appearance. Tell me, have clerics tried to perform exorisms on your face?" He then resumed the noogie. "Say uncle! Say it!"

Crowley sighed. Slowly he got off his horse and unsheethed his sword.
"Listen 'uncle', I have had a very, very bad day. And it will only be slightly better if you decide to crawl in the sand for me. Or do I have to make you?" Crowley grinned at his words and held his sword lightly in his right hand. He twirled it slowly and made sure not to point it in his directing. He wasn't talking in an intimidating manner and set everything on a light tone. This was his style. He was playful. But there was no doubt about it that this boy had to be punished.
"Now, boy, I also accept free drinks."

"Well Crowley, your in luck, minus the crawling. Leg problems." that last bit was sarcasm. But at about this point Rayl grabbed Night's arm, and used the position to throw him off, as he'd often had to do," I'm not really here to speak with you, but since we have met, I've decided to apologize. I learned something in my travels: apparently, I am an *sshole if I drink even the slightest bit, and I drank quite abit when traveling with you. Yes, it's sad I can't handle booze. So...will you accept my apologies? I'll gladly fight for Crowley's Heroes again (nothing better to do anyways.), plus I'll pay for the first two rounds of drinks. Believe it or not, but I was going to offer that before you did say it."
he looked down towards his mercenary friend (not Crowley, but Night), " Which brings me to introductions. Night, meet Crowley (The Magnificent). Crowley, meet this younger version of yourself. I'm not kidding. At all." a shrug here, before drew his sword from the ground and went off in the direction of what he hoped was the inn, since there WERE drunkards falling out of one window...

Night grinned. "Quiet, girly man!" he retorted. "I'm talking to the Boss here!" Said Boss then threw him off. He laid on the ground in a face plant for a moment before picking himself up and dusting off. He then flashed Crowley his own grin.
"Aww, how cute, he thinks he's important." he commented, unsheathing his own sword. "Why don't you run along, old man, before I have to put you through Nights School of Hard Knocks?" he warned in the same tone Crowley was using. Then Rayl just...caved. "Come on, Boss! Don't walk away!" he cried in exasperation. "Just lemme kick his *ss! Just once! Puhleeeaaase?"
