"He may just be alive!" Rayl seemed to shoot out, mainly in Sireace's defense, as he continued," However, if he is, Aeros will most likely get him out. Wylie will probably be carrying Darius out of there, and as for Tobias...well, to be quite honest, I doubt he'll make it. Probably stay behind and kill as many people as possible...the bloody fool. Though at least he'd be a good scapegoat, eh? now let's get out of the range of the towers before they notice us after Richter's grand escape and wind up covered in arrows."

Sireace nodded, she smiled slightly at Rayl's acuret distription of Aeros. "I agree with Rayl..but we had better get out of here..i don't think we can do anything...least at this moment." She said, looking from Ritcher to Rayl, "'Sides...we still have a mission to complete.." She said, raising her eyebrows and shrugging, "Asuming our team is still together..." (Hey guys! I'm going to be gone for about..three days. *winces* So..well i can't stop you from posting..but please fill me in when i get back hm? lol..)

(ooc: I knew I should have gotten on yesterday...)
Tobias had decided to wait, as much as he didn't want to. He watched miserably as the dragon had it's own private kill-fest and everybody else started running away. Except Crowley, who seemed kinda dead. I wanted to kill him he thought regretfully, but stayed in the house. He stayed because he wanted to kill the Herald. Not so much because of any loyalty, or because he wanted to make a difference, but more because he wanted to die quickly. Jail was something he would never be able to handle, so he decided to make sure he was targeted by everything they had. And they would make sure to kill him after something like that.
So, once he saw the Herald look away from the doorway, he charged out quietly, drawing his sword as he went.

Richter put his hand on his sword hilt and began walking away with the other two. "Believe what you wish," he said to Rayl. He knew Crowley was dead. No one could take two swords through the chest and live. He wouldn't, however, be disappointed if Rayl was right. He looked up to the sky, then down at his feet. "Sad isn't it? So much unnecessary death. Tough to avoid in our line of work though." He looked to Sireace. "I have nowhere else to go, seeing as blood and misery seem to be my lifelong partners. I'm still part of the group if you're willing to have me."

"Hmmph. Not my group anymore. It's still Crowley's (assuming he got out). IF Crowley...can't perform as our leader," He tried to say this as lightly as possible," Then it is Wylie's group as he is technically the co-leader (now leader)." a shrug, as he led his horse a distance away from the gates, and out of range of balls of fire and arrows, which actually WERE being fired at them once they were noticed: No way they'd be able to get back to help now... "Let's just hope everyone else get's out alright. Until then, we may have to decide where we will have to flee to, as Bern and Etruria are obvious places not to go, that and we may have to lay low for awhile, since I doubt they'll just let us wander about outside their borders...I myself vote Sacae. It's wide open and it'd be hard to find us there." He may have missed the ranch back at Pherae, but he become drawn to the openness of the sea of grass that was the wide plains of Sacae...

"Wherever we're going, I suggest we get moving," said Richter curtly. "They won't just be firing arrows and fireballs at us for long. If we linger, they'll start chasing us down." Richter sighed. "I personally suggest Ilia. It's closer and it'll be easier to hide in the mountains than on wide open plains."

The Herald turned around. A person came rushing about. His guards had already seen him. A few arrows whirred in the guy's direction and his guards thrusted their swords forward. The Herald himself just looked. He had witnessed the attack of a dragon. He was truely scared. But it wasn't over yet. Some of them escaped. But this one, won't.
It was over for the little guy who attacked. An arrow through his arm, and one through his neck, two swords in his belly and one hitting his head. He was dead. The Herald looked around. It seemed to have gotten awfully quiet. He told his soldiers to stay and then left. He to talk to his master.

Heh... I guess that didn't work too well... I couldn't even take one of them with me He would have sighed, except his lung was punctured so he just coughed up some blood instead. No chance of coming out of this one. Ah well, sorry Sis, couldn't get revenge. I really hope you're not where I'm going........

(OoC: REALLY sorry guys. still more exams Also, Aeros posted that he carried off Crow's body. It's not still lying out there.) Wylie watched Crow sprint towards the Herald but when he saw what happened, his eyes became wide. "No. NOOO!!!" His closest friend in the world has just become impaled. Twice. He lowered his head and clenched his eyes shut. With a grunt he forced himself to not think about it. The situation was too bad and there was still stuff to be done. He looked around the room. Only the unconscious Darius remained. Glancing out the window, it was chaos. Everywhere there were soldiers scattered, either fighting or crawling to their feet. Only the Herald remained still. His piercing gaze had not averted from the house for a moment. Well, that rules the front out, Wylie thought. He looked out the back door and saw only a few soldiers had remained after the dragon had been unleashed. Admittedly, they were probably the bravest of the soldiers but the important thing was that they were on foot. Wylie had Alia, his horse. He threw Darius over the horse's back and then mounted himself, with Darius behind him. Alia seemed to sense what the plan was as Wylie didn't need to manoeuvre her much before she charged at the rear window. There was only a thin curtain, no glass, covering it so she jumped through without a problem. With a kick from Wylie then, she turned left and began sprinting down the street under a rain of magic and arrows.

Richter frowned. "Wait, no scratch that. Etrurians can chase us into neighboring countries." Richter wiped some hair out of his face. "Let's get to the Etrurian port and see if we can get a ship off of the main continent. That would probably be a better place to hide."

Sireace gave a half-shrug, "Well, Sacae is my home, so if you want to go there i might be able to help there. But, that all depends.." She said thoughtfully. She suspected Richter probubly had a better idea, but she wanted to help anyway posable. "We need to move!" She said, quickly grabbing her sword and bloacking a stray arrow that had been heading twoard her face.

(And I'm able to post. Woohoo.)
Rayl could only roll his eyes at Richter's remark,"Suuure...let's go to the port that happens to have had a FIRE on it...but good idea, though it would be easier to hide on the plains: it's too spacious for them to find us easily, and they'd have to pass through lycia...oh well, to the ports then...I'll take point." with this, he rode ahead of the others in a trot, though stopped for a brief moment,"...I have a bad feeling about this..." before continuing onwards.

OoC: I only suggested the ports since that is the only place we could logically get to in order to participate in the finale. Now I will make a post having Richter justify that idiotic statement. Then I'll post in the Finale thread.
Rayl's comment stung. "True," he said, "but you do know that Sacae is adjacent to Etruria, don't you? They'd be able to storm the undefended plains in pursuit easily. Also, an army as big as Delphia's could easily sweep the flat lands of Sacae for travelers and find us easily." Richter frowned. "Actually, if we can find a boat that isn't on fire, the chaos should make it even easier to slip out."

Wylie just kept on galloping. He focused on nothing but staying conscious so he could escape. He now had arrows protruding from his right thigh and shoulder and a fairly burnt back from a fire mage. Blood poured down over his waist and also over Darius, who he was still carrying. Still unconscious, Darius had copped an arrow to the leg as well.
Looking down the road he was travelling, Wylie saw a hulking knight in his path, holding a massive spear attached by chain to his wrist. He thrust forward and threw the spear at the oncoming Wylie. Wylie tried to lean out of the way but he was too slow, and the spear caught his left shoulder, completely removing him from the saddle. He tumbled backwards, his injuries made worse by the fall.
At this point, blackness closed around Wylie's vision. The bloodloss, combined with falling from his horse was enough to knock him out. The last thing he saw before passing out was the knight standing over him with a raised axe.
