When nobody took notice of his advice he felt ignored. Ignoring a pirate isn't wise, ignoring the son of a pirate captain is like running into a bar filled with pirates and yell "Bar Brawl!". Angered by being ignored he stepped back into the inn seeing something different. His angered disappeared on sight and an older instinct rose up. "BAR BRAWL!" where the only words he could exclaim before jumping onto the back of one of the attackers. The moves, combined with the lack of waves, made him sick.

“Yay a fight! I mean…this umm situation should be handled quickly.” Cefia said, making her way towards the conflict. Before long someone just about hit her. Taking hold of her right arm, she contracted her muscles before slamming a fist into the man’s face.
“That is a punch,” She said, before spitting at the man. “Oh hey Janus, where is Nissa?” while asking, she managed to walk through the fight and make it next to Janus, before getting a hit in the head from a beer cup. Well this brings back memories.

Wein sighed. Everyone was acting like drunken morons. "Oh well," he muttered under his breath as he tied his bow back up and put his arrow back in his quiver. Walking up behind a particularly violent patron, Wein wrapped his arm around the man's neck and put him into a choke hold. Wrenching the man backwards, he stuck out his left leg and let the man trip over it. Once the man was on the ground, Wein gave the man a nice quick blow to the head and moved on to the next man who was swinging a chair leg at him.

Well, there had only been three people arguing against the two of them. Now that Abin had yelled, the few confused patrons of the bar had begun brawling with one another. Sighing, Alexia relaxed her stance, shaking her head sadly.
"Those ruffians attacked the man, three on one. I saw it and decided to help him out," she waved her free hand at the men, who were now much the worse for wear. "I'd say things have pretty much deteriorated from there."
Alexia sheathed her sword, crossing her arms over her chest and watching the brawl with an amused expression. She glanced over at the man she'd helped, clearly named "Janus."
"I'm thinking it would be in our best interest to make our way outside the bar..." she offered, smiling. Most of the fighters wouldn't go anywhere near her. After all, she wore leather armor and carried a sword. Not to mention having Matis stand close by. You'd have to have a death wish.

Janus was happily surprised when the fight seemed to go away from him. He looked up at who spoke to him, to see a young women, clearly a warrior, and a Sacaen. What an odd pair of traveling companions. Off to the side of the bar, he also noticed Cefia. At her question on Nissa, Janus looked about.
"She was just here...she might have gotten lost in the fight..." He let the sentence fall off. He was certain she was all right, nobody could have gotten too far in this whole mess.
"In any event, thanks for your help." He said, extending his hand to the women. "Got in a little over my head there."

Wein slugged one last guy in the face before pulling out. He was good with his hands, but hand to hand combat was rough on the fingers and knuckles. Tying his folded bow to his belt, he slipped out of the mess. He walked over to Matis, Alexia, and this "Janus". Saving the man was kind of the whole reason he got involved.
Being the odd type of person he was, Wein grabbed Janus's hand and shook it, despite the fact it wasn't intended for him. "Glad to see you're all right," he said cheerfully. "Bar fights can get pretty bad in ports. I've seen a man take one too many blows to the head and come out a little screwy." He paused, frowned, then continued. "My name's Wein. I'm a wandering archer from the Lowell house in Ostia. Pleased to meet you."

Alexia nodded in Janus's direction, accepting his thanks since she could not accept his hand. She looked to the other archer, raising an eyebrow slightly. Apparently being an uncouth fool was a qualification for being a Lycian archer.
"Don't worry about it that much," Alexia said, addressing Janus. "Unfair fights irk me, simple as that."
She shrugged. Really, she had to admit that she also favored archers slightly, as her best friend had taken up the bow.
"We'd better get out of here quick," she reminded them, ducking an ill thrown bottle as she spoke. "The last thing any of us need is to get brained during a bar fight. We can talk outside."
She took a few steps back toward the door, pausing for the others to catch up. Alexia preferred taking the rear guard, probably had a suicide wish or something...

The pirate checked on the man he just knocked unconscious because of his rough behaviour. When he took a closer look at the man his face turned pale. "Truly, you can't have a better way to start a journey... If you'd listen to insider info, please. Looks like we just knocked down some men of the most rowdy pirate around..." His haste to get away as soon as possible shown that it was serious. "Come on now, ain't no waves to show you home here on the rocks!"

Matis reacted to Abin's rush. "Are you okay?" he asked, also going towards the door. "Come on guys, let's get out of here" he said, waving his hand at those who were still inside the bar.
"Abin, what's the matter? Why so hasty?" he asked with a concerned look on his face. It was not just the fight. There was definitely something bothering him, and Matis was out to find what and why.

Janus proceeded out of the bar, keeping his bow strummed in case anyone decided that attacking a women was the bright thing to do. He wondered just where such people had come from.
Once he was safely outside, he cracked his neck. Which was still a bit sore from the chais.
"Yeouch, that's what I get for my big mouth. A lesson in discretion. Thanks for the help there, you are a life saver."

Once everyone had made it out, Alexia left the tavern/inn. The sounds of the fight still came from behind her, but it wasn't her battle.
She walked past most of the others, leaving them to talk for now. She did nod at Janus, pointing at Matis, "Talk to him for a bit, he's technically the leader."
Though Alexia had done her share of leading as well. For now though, she needed to get Night Flight ready, and possibly put her armor on. They still had a ways to go before they reached Bern.
A few minutes later, she exited the stables, leading a bored-looking Night Flight. She glanced from Matis to Abin, wondering if they were arguing about the ship they were supposed to be taking...

Wein wandered out of the tavern back outside to where everyone was waiting. He sat down on a barrel and leaned back. "Well," he said, "that was interesting." He looked towards Matis. "Now that that's all settled, when do we leave?"

Matis finally had the chance to properly greet the archer from inside the inn. "Hi, I am Matis of the Wind Tiger tribe of Sacae. Pleased to meet you". Thankfully, having gone with Kenshin's father to most of the tribe meetings and reunions with the previous leaders of Ostia and Santaruz had paid off. He was much more well mannered than his cousin.
He then looked at Wein and back to Abin, who had yet to be able to articulate a proper response. "Not really sure as of now", he answered to the archer.
Matis couldn't help but chuckled at Dirk's comment. So typical of him to miss all the action.

The bar fight was still in full swing, even with Alexia standing there. Since she had removed herself, the fight had turned into an all out swarm of chaos. There was not an eye on the street that was not turned towards the tavern, so massive was the fight. And then, something far worse then a silly bar fight happened.
Those facing the pier would be greeted by an explosion of fire consuming a ship, seeming to come from the very hull of the ship. Flames and shrapnel shot about the pier, with various ropes and pieces of cargo catching. Within moments, the entire dock strip was aflame, though the fire was still a roughly 40 feet from the inn. The heat of the fire would surely be felt on their faces as they stared at the flaming holocaust as people ran back and forth to try and put out the inferno.
One man did not though, he stood, pointing and shouting in a panicked state. Though what he was saying couldn't be heard over the din of the pier.
