"No no Katara go ahead down and rest." Raen said seemingly more serious, and then he turned back to face yet another corpse after Katara went below, "Now where were we? Oh.. right, so you were in the middle of a barfight in Tortuga, and you decided to slip away with the bartenders daughter!" Raen chuckled, "You do the craziest things Steve.. Oh! Here's your stop"
Raen waited for the splash and waved before moving on to his next conversation. 'Some people just wonder and halt at death, well I've got my own system for getting past it' he thought as he grabbed another corpse in a friendly embrace, "Bill! Good to see you! You've gotten thinner! You know..." Raen continued on oblivious of the others.

Alexia finished up the mopping, and watched as Raen dumped the various bodies into the water. Smiling, she shook her head, slightly amused at his antics.
"I don't suppose you could dump them into the water without talking to them first?" she suggested. She picked up the disgusting bucket and walked to the edge, flinging the contents into the ocean below. As she did, she caught a glimpse of the bodies floating about, and quickly averted her eyes.
"When all this is over, I'm going somewhere I never have to see another body," she muttered, tossing the bucket aside.

"What, are you goin' to be a hermit then? People will always die, whether through natural or unnatural means," Saru replied to Alexia. "Best we can do is accept it and try to move on."
Seeing Raen continue speaking to the bodies as he tossed them overboard, the mercenary mock scowled at him. "Oi! Hurry up will ya? I'm sure these guys wanna get away from your ugly mug as soon as possible. Besides, I'm hungry after all the fightin'." His statement was punctuated by a growl from his stomach.

Katara made her way down past the galley and to the bunks. She sighed and started at the woodwork, counting the knots and following the grain. She lay down, closed her eyes, imagined being home, as she always had during her adventures.
A smile flitted onto her face as she was walking through the long grass of Sacae... the azure sky bright and clear above her. Sokka waved to her, and she ran over to him. The two stood together and started off into the horizon, watching the sun slowly make it's descent. Then, another figure appeared. The first thing that stuck out was the figure's hair, which, thanks to the wind, and it's color, looked ablaze. Then the figure's face came into focus, handsome, yet rugged, with a thin scar on his cheek. Katara ran to Kenshin and embraced him... They stayed like that unitl the picture faded from Katara's mind... A large wave rocked the boat, waking Katara. She smile faded... There was still much to be done before she would see Sacae.

Raen's conversation was penetrated by Saru's plea for food, "Right and then I threw th-" Raen looked over to Saru with a grin,"Yeah right Saru, only YOU could be hungry in the face of mass carnage... but I definately don't disagree with you on that one. What've we got, hard tac and some suspicious water?"
Raen plopped the next body over with a wave of his hand and then walked closer to Saru and the group to continue the discussion.

Although the pirate had been sleeping through the battle, as he was died tired of walking around on land. He sighed watching the dead bodies covering the ship, why did he miss the fun parts? While he was still thinking about his lack of exercise he ran into the passengers.
"Seems like I missed all the few now, ey! Couldn't ya wake me? Something good like this doesn't happen everyday ya know!!" He made a frowning face and turned away from the group, searching for something to do.

"Being a hermit sounds like a plan," Alexia replied, flashing a grin at Saru as the mercenary finished the grim work. She saw little point in interfering, especially considering she probably couldn't lift the bodies. She had stamina, not strength. Riding for hours and taking blows that would kill most men did not mean she could carelessly lift dead pirates and chuck them over the side of a ship.
She heard a new voice, and turned, noticing the new arrival. Confused, she turned back to the Sacean pair (Raen and Saru), jerking her thumb in the pirate's direction.
"When did we get a pirate?"

"Him? He was tha one who told us when the ship was ready ta sail, remember?" Saru reminded Alexia. "During the training session." The mercenary then turned to the pirate. "Hey, what's your name? And where do you keep the food on this ship?" he asked.

"Ah, I didn't tell ya all that already? My bad, I am Abin, pleasure to meet ya all! About the food topic, you should ask the cook, he is the one who gives it away.." He suddenly grinned and continued "If I would tell you that we keep quite some provision in the storage room next to the ladder leading from the second to the third deck, the cook would offer me for dinner this evening..."
Without giving them time to comment he continued. "Now we are doing the introductions anyway, what's yer name? It feels safer to know the names, of the ones who know your name." He smiled and sat down on one of the bodies, using it as a cushion of sorts.

Saru pointed first to himself then Raen. "My name's Saru, and this lughead here talkin' to dead bodies is Raen. Boss man over there is Matis, Katara just went below deck, an' the one over there with the armor is Alexia. Dirk's around somewhere. He wasn't feelin' to good earlier..." The mercenary trailed off before shaking his head and turning back towards the pirate and Raen with a grin. "Now, how 'bout we do a little raidin' of our own, eh? Anybody want anything?" he asked.

Katara sat up. The dark wood of the hull seemed so small and closed in. She couldn't wait unitl they got the shore and could leave the ship. She got up and stretched. Her stomach growled, reminding her that her breakfast was floating somewhere in the ocean now... She decided to make her way to the galley to find something to eat.

The mention of food made Alexia turn a little grin. Shaking her head, she forced a weak smile.
"I'm not in the mood to try and eat anything right now. Especially with..." she waved a hand to indicate the carnage around her.
She turned to the pirate, nodding, "Sorry about the lack of introductions. Took me a while to get my sea legs. As Saru said, I'm Alexia, a paladin from Pherae. Pleasure to be traveling with you, I'm sure."
She nodded once more.
"Now, if you'll all excuse me, I think I'm going to go the side of the deck. Possibly to become seasick again."
With that, she did as she said...

As soon as she walked of a large laugh filled the ship, as Abin stood, bended over slapping his hand against his knee. "Ye're a paladin, and this upsets yer stomach!?! I've had worse in my life, guts lying around, people crying out in fear, while tried to wrestle to keep everything inside their body! Whahaha, ye land lubbers aren't used to anything are ye!?!"
He leaned backwards to laugh even harder, but instead a soft tud was heard, as he fell from the body and hit his head against the ground. He murmured while trying to get back on the body and rubbing over the back of his head. "My bad, I slipped." Was the only thing he said, as calm as possible.

The entire ship burst in laughter again. "Most of us are not used to the sea" Matis explained shortly after introducing himself.
"Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to check on the captain" he said, going to the upper part of the ship.
"Are we still on course?" he asked the captain, hoping that evading the ship had not changed the direction of the ship.
"Aye. We'll be getting to the mainland sometime tomorrow, if Elimine is with us"
I seriously doubt that'll happen. Especially with her being two feet under

"Riding a horse is different from sailing on a ship," Alexia muttered, leaning over the edge of the boat to stare at the lapping waters below. She suddenly had no urge to communicate with anyone, least of all that obnoxious pirate. Matthias was annoyance enough, without having to deal with stupid water-rats.
"Stupid fighting," she muttered.
