Saturos frowned. "Ah, so he was quite the swine after all," said Saturos a little dejected. "Well, what brings you to these woods?" He looked around at the ragtag group of people. Except for hippoman, they all looked to be magic users, or at least they dressed like they were. "Are you 'hermits' and 'refugees' like the thief, or do you have a much less dire purpose to be here? It seems like nobody goes adventuring for the sake of adventuring anymore."

"May I trouble either of you for a moment?" Zaath asked, directing the question at Shadow and the white garbed fellow while hoping his politeness would get him somewhere, "I seem to have lost my way, and was hoping that one of the two of you could, if you didn't mind, point me toward the nearest village perhaps?" Zaath looked again at the black-clad Shaman and was a bit put off by the look on his face, but he couldn't say that he honestly cared what Shadow had to say, unless it was constructive or helpful. Not that he did not care about the person.
No, he focused his question more toward the priest, who seemed to be the handler of public affairs of a non-violent nature in their little troupe.

OoC:Funny, I'm the only one "alone"(I thought it was funny).Do I need to write what the paper said? Does practice count as uses?
IC: Morgoth finished reading the paper.Whoever owned this before was a master(or a really smart student.) So if he practiced he could do almost anything, supposedly. He liked the idea o slicing someone with magic, with this he could "torture" his enemies or quickly dispose of them.he decided he would try it.He then started concentrating on forming a beam he could use to cut the tree.He then began to chant the words and the beam appeared, barley existing, and cut a small cut into the tree. "That was disappointing." he mumbled to himself. He continued to practice, hoping to accomplish something before he got to tired.

"I for one have my reasons for leaving the city," Errol responded to the blue-haired swordsman, "But they can wait. To start with, If everyone could introduce themselves-" Errol suddenly felt that the small forest clearing had become host to a vast multitude, though he quickly reminded himself that this was not the case. But as he tried to consider who all had joined them here, his thoughts turned to someone else..."
'Hiro, it seems you've finally turned your coat. If we meet again - when we meet again, I will make you explain yourself.'

"Wow people just keep on coming!" Papilion muttered to himself. "If anymore show up, we could just build some houses and start our own village." He wanted a few people for safety but this was crazy. With so many people, it would take much longer to get moving to a place. "I think we should do the introductions after we get going. I don't care where we head to, as long as we get away from Etruria."
He didn't like the look of the hooded one. The hooded one could easily be a thief like Hiro was. Whispering to Errol and Gabriel he muttered, "I'd feel better if the hooded one didn't come."

Alphonse turned around towards the stranger in a dark robe. He examined him; the man was carrying a sword, he could be a thief or something of the like. Alphonse said to him, "Sorry stranger, but I don't know the way to the nearest town, you're on your own." Alphonse looked at Shadow and said with a kinder voice, "You should introduced yourself, I'm quite sure they're suspicious of a man in a dark cloak." Alphonse turned back around towards the other group and saw a blue haired man had now joined them. How many people are out here!? Well, at least we'll have some protection out here, they look like they're a friendly group, but the fat one... Alphonse looked at the large, gelatinous man jabbering to himself. He's an odd one indeed.

Zaath winced slightly. He was unsure of whether or not he would survive if he could not find a village or at least local edible flora. Zaath continued in a more serious voice, though not to sound intimidating,"Uhm... well, thank you very much for taking the time to contemplate my predicament. But before I go,would you happen to have a compass I could look at? I'm making my way to Ilia and I'm not even sure where I am. I would normally check the flow of the rivers to see which way the ocean is, but there are quite a few basins in the area that could direct the currents away from the sea."

Shadow was getting nervous. He could feel the people stare at him. Usually, people would walk away, or just keep their heads down. Now, the tables had turned against him. Or, perhaps he was being paranoid. Either way, he was not comfortable.
He listened to Alphonse's reply to Zaath. It seemed to him that the priest was uneasy when talking to him. It was odd, but that's how he was. Then he directed his attention towards Shadow. This put him in the spotlight. Alphonse was right, however. He needed to let the people know that he could be trusted. He knew what he had to do.
Shadow quietly muttered to his companion in travels, "Very well, I suppose..." Shadow put his hands to the back of his hood, and pulled downward, revealing his blue eyes, and white hair. He then spoke up, and began his introduction. "Hello, everyone," Shadow's voice was gentle and kind as he spoke, "You all may call me Shadow. That is what I go by nowadays. I'm sorry I look suspicious, but please try to understand, these are hard times. You see, I am a wanderer of sorts, seeking knowledge. I am also an elder magic user."
He stopped there, and reached into the inside of his cloak. Shadow then pulled out his tome, Flux, leaving both his book and other tome. Swiftly, he opened the dark tome, letting some of the pages turn. He then closed the tome quietly, and put it back inside his cloak. Shadow then looked back up, waiting for any kind of response, or another introduction of sorts.

Gabriel listened to the crowd that had gathered in the clearing. One would wonder just how big this clearing was, but once you take into account that the clearing can hold Papilion, then you'd realize that the clearing was enormous.
He decided that, as annoying as it might come out, he would answer to every single question in succession, if only to try to get them all to shut up for a second.
"I was kicked out of Delfia by my father" he said to the blue-haired man, "Here's a compass" he said, taking out a small, round object from one of his pockets and showing it to the guy in the back of the group, "We don't get to choose whether the black-robbed guy comes with us or not if the priest is coming" he whispered to Papilion, then turned to the other black-robbed guy and replied with some sort of smile, if you could call it that. "Hi Shadow. My name's Gabriel. Here's Errol to my right and Papilion to my left".
He stopped to breathe. Why did it seem like this would be one LONG journey?

When Shadow's hood came up and revealed himself to be a dark mage, Papilion did some thinking. There's two types of shamans. A shaman who's lost his sanity and soul to magic, and a scholar who studies it who has yet to lose his sanity and soul. This "Shadow" seems to be just a scholar. "You call yourself Shadow? You don't want anyone knowing your real name? Oh well, not a big deal I guess.
Papilion listened about Gabriel getting kicked out of Delphia by his father. He found that information very interesting. When he was in Delphia yesterday, he heard lots of rumors about a kid running away from his father. Not kicked out though. I wonder if this boy is that kid. He'd bend the truth a little and it would explain why he was out here alone. And I'd probably get quite a bit of money out of it if he was and I returned him.
But Pappy just decided to take it as a coincident at the moment as there was nothing he could do about it right now anyways.
O.o.c. Is this okay, having Papilion hear about the rumour and having the thought cross his mind?

Zaath looked at the young man with the red hair and thanked him for his generosity, then gave him his compass back. Now he could probably continue north east. "If you don't mind me asking," Zaath began with Alphonse one more tie, "Where are all of you headed?" Zaath was hoping on the slim chance that they where going where he was. "If you're going to Ilia, I would be glad to accompany you. If it's not to much trouble."

Saturos turned towards Shadow and nodded his head. "Pleased to meet you Shadow," he said politely. "It's rare to meet elder magic users nowadays." Saturos then turned to Zaath. "I'm a fairly decent navigator, and I'm familiar with the Ilian countryside, so if Ilia is your destination, I'd be more than happy to accompany if you need a travel mate."

"Well, I think I'll take you up on that offer. My names Zaath in case you didn't hear me earlier, It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. The more the merrier in these parts. from what I've heard this area is a bandit hot spot." Zaath said, happy he now had at least one traveling companion, and one who seemed to have a similar combat style as well, trying to judge from his apparel. "Is everyone going to Ilia?" Zaath asked Saturos, "I just wonder sense you all seem to be congregated."

Morgoth sat on a log, panting. He had been practicing for hours and had barley scraped though the bark. How is it I can do things right the first time, but have to work at it after that? he wondered to himself. He barely got the darkness to even appear and half the time it didn't. "Maybe I should get help"he mumbled.
He tried to get some water from his water skin but in the middle of opening it, passed out from exhaustion.

Saturos shrugged. "I have no idea, I just arrived at this little clearing. I'm not actually part of the group." Saturos studied the man. He dressed in black, but he did not have a sinister air to him. Perhaps it's just a color preference?
"Oh, by the way, the name's Saturos. Good thing to know since it looks like we'll be traveling together."
