While Crowley the Magnificent is dead, he did leave a legacy behind.
His body was dumped into the sea and never found again. Some say he might still be alive and come back, riding on a seven-headed dragon, while wielding a enormous axe. Most say this is rubbish and that the hero died a sad death because he tried to stop an avalanche. Noone knows how he really died.
Sir Isaac Alexander thingyans, known from famous stories such as; a Saint Elimine's Carol, Elibian Notes, the Old Blacksmithing Shop and, most importantly, Oliver Twit, has told the press he will start a biography of this known hero. From Ostia himself, thingyans tells us that he once met the Magnificent himself. He confirms that the stories about Crowley killing a wolf with a twig is true, the Magnificent told him that, and we all know that our hero was no liar.
The book will be a collection of stories about Crowley, Wylie (The Wrestler), Usha, Rayl, Mage-dude and others. Most people are excited to hear that their favorite hero will at least come back to the world of the living in written form. “The Magnificent (a biography)” will be hand-written and will cost around 20 gold. They will be sold at Ostia's Harness and Noble.
Some rumours also talk about the Magnificent's offspring. Several bar wenches claim to have given birth to a child, made by Crowley. This rumours still have to be confirmed.
Here's a preview to Isaac Alexander thingyans' book;
"...and after killing the furious bandit leader with one slash, he turned around to the children from the orphanage and told them to never, ever, drink again. Drinking is not o-kay, kids. He then threw back is long, blond hair and cleaned his razor sharp sword. His beautiful body was shimmering with sweat, his strong chest and muscled arms shone in the sun and carefully he cut off a piece of hair. Swear on this hair, that you will never do harm to anyone else. The children promised. Crowley gathered his belongings and went on with Wylie the Wrestler, his heavy-built friend, who was a strong as a bear but as kinds as a beaver. Together they went to the Haunted Forest, but that, my friends, is another story...”
Word has it that another writer, Sir Rayl of Pherae, a respected citizen of those lands, has begun on a more truthfully and expanded version of Crowley's life. People around Elibe are eagerly awaiting both books. Sir Rayl's book will be published by Holy Day Inns, a conglomerate of inns throughout Ostia. It will be available for the sweet, low price of 10 gold and a free coupon for Crowley's favourite drink; a watery beer.
A sneak preview will soon be available.
