OoC:I guess if you guys want more small talk we can put it in the area for conversations. The rope is for interagating the captive.
IC:Abel stood on a hill about a quarter-mile from the bandit camp. As they had suspected, it had taken about three days. It was around noon and he was discussing a plan with his friends. "Fargo, you can take out the the guards while we sneek around to the side." Abels armor clinked as he moved. He had put it on as soon as they had goten there. Just then, about half of the bandits(10) marched out and headed south.Well that makes it easier on us. he thought.

Fargo listened diligently to what Abel had to say. It was apparent that getting inside the bandits base was important. Fargo didn't know why exactly they were here in the first place. Still, the young bowman understood what he had to do, and replied simply, "Okay, I'll do it. I just hope, like, I don't need any help doing that." The last part he said was slightly quiet, but still audible to the rest of the group.
After he noted that a few of the bandits left, the young bowman trekked ahead slightly. He was still in view of the group, but the guards on the outside of the building couldn't see him. There were two of them, both axe wielders. Brigands just like the one I almost killed. Can I do it this time? ... Yes, yeah I can. Confidently, the young archer waited for the rest to do something, as he felt the back of his bow. Indeed, Fargo was prepared to fight.

OOC: Now for a unique view on the life of a bandit!
Ah it was a beautiful day today! A Man in tattered, meager clothing stepped out of his makeshift tent of animal hide strewn together with rope of poor quality, the only decent thing about him being his mannerisms and his axe, still in good condition.
Such was life of Francis, having wandered back to Lycia from working amongst the Ruinz Bandits five years back, and taken up work amongst these ruffians. Someone who comes from one bandit group to another (unless they are brothers of a pact. Such a strange culture these brigands have!) is treated like a dog compared to the rest, who still are treated less than favorably, save for the leader, who would feast like a king, and the 'dogs' are given scraps of scraps....but enough backstory and explanation!
balancing himself one leg, he raised a 'shoe'd' foot and scratched an itch on his left foot, which already had cuts, even from after only working for a few hours...or maybe they were reopened cuts, who knows? Yet in the end, Francis was happy. He traveled around a lot like he used to with his family, and hey: at least he was able to get (some...) food. after scratching his foot, he stretched, listening to the singing of the birds and the grunts of his companions...he tuned them out for the former of the two sounds. Nothing could ruin this tranquility...maybe he'd take a nap under a nice shady tree, listen to a stream, and just enjoy the nature around him...

Cefia muttered a few words of concern to herself, trying to calm the thoughts that ran through her head. Her thoughtful side was thinking up maneuvers to clear the situation, but instead the one stained by the sea, simply told her to go and do what she did.
"Lets just hurry, so I can smash some of their heads in," she said, before looking straight into the den of the lion. She is going to get herself killed one day.

Garnet watched the group of bandit's heading south. If we succeed, there won't be much for them to return to tonight.
He turned to Fargo and tried to speak confidently "Hey, don't worry. As long as we look out for each other, we'll be fine." He turned back to the group as a whole. I think we should all try to stick together for a while longer. It won't help if we get seperated and then picked off one by one."
He looked down towards the camp. There was a bit of forest just off it's edge. "Maybe we could use that to get closer to the bandits."

The confidence in Garnet had given him a boost. Even if one had faith in a task, it was always better to share that faith with a friend. Fargo looked up to Garnet, and gave him a smile. The archer promised himself that he would do better. He was fighting for someone else, and that was what he wanted all along.
When looking back at the two bandits in front of the group a ways, the young bowman was unsure if he was to attack or not. Fargo decided to ask the others, knowing that starting the fight too early was bad. That and he agreed with Garnet.
"So," began the bowman quietly, "what's the plan? 'Cause, like, two guys are just in front of us right now, and I've got a clear shot. When everything’s good, just let me know, okay?" Fargo's voice was hushed, not wanting the bandits to hear. He also was addressing every person. The bowman just wanted a group acceptance on what was about to happen.

"I think we should wait for it to get a little darker," Abel told Fargo."And do you think you could take the guards out without anyone noticing and then join us in the trees?Or should we plan another way for you to join us?" Abel studied the surounding area quickly an then turned back to his friends to wait for a reply.Soon I will know whether Kasey is alive or dead.

It was getting later in the day as they spoke. Garnet was getting impatient with the delays, but new that careful preparation was what was a plus in situations like these. This reminded him of one of the strikes he had led on a bandit stronghold near his home. the time leading up to the strike had been the worst.
"The moment Fargo takes down the first bandit, the second will already be sounding the alarm." The merc said in response. "We need draw them out somehow, but how to do that without sounding the alert is another story. Another thing is that it normally takes more than one strike to take someone down. That's why I don't think we should split up yet. Archers, particularly, are vulnerable to melee fighters."
It wasn't that Garnet had no confidence in Fargo, but it was merely common sense to protect their ranged fighter.

"Point taken.Maybe we could draw them out by making noise in the brush or through a rock.We need to hurry though, because we'll never get a chance like this again."Abel said as he drew his sword.

Francis snapped out of his moment of serenity, as the bandit next to him was talking to another one, before eying Francis is a look that seeped with evil, especially as they had their axe ready," Hey! New guy!" one of the barked, before shuffling over and giving Francis a shove," You is lot more trouble than you is worth, ya know! I tells ya, we should just kills ya now, that way we get more food!"
"If food is a problem for our troupe, why don't I just kill you? That will help." compared to the other bandits, Francis seemed to speak in a Shakespearian manner. the man gave out a shout of fury, mostly consisting of calling our bandit friend some foul words, before trying to chop Francis like a tree. The sluggish swing was narrowly dodged by Francis, before he went and slammed his own axe into the man's spine, shoved him off with a strong kick, before readying the weapon again as the second bandit rushed him. These fights amongst members was common, but this was the first time Francis would have to, let alone actually fight someone armed, villagers usually weren't anyways.

"Huh? Wait ranged? I have this hand axe I can throw if you need another range fighter. Sure I can't throw as far as an archer can shoot their arrows, but I'm sure I can help more if you want." Cefia said. She hasn't killed bandits for they stay far the sea, but if they fight like pirates, than she should have decent experience with the. Sure the earth felt a whole lot different than on a ship, but she could still pound them in.

Abel was about to answer Cefia when he heard loud voices and the sound of clashing metal from the camp.He turned around and looked towards it.A fight was starting in the camp and soon others began to join. The guards looked at the fight and from some hidden agreement, ran to join. What luck! Abel thought, turning to his friends. "I think now would be a good time to attack.Lets go with Garnets plan and come from the forest so they don't have time to regroup. And someone needs to guard Fargo." Where would I be without Garnet he questioned himself. Abel quickly rechecked his armor straps, nodded to each of his friends and headed silently for the trees under the cover of darkness. OoC:I decided that with the fight going on, that there would be to much noise to have a need to muffle our armor with rags. Also I assumed you guys know that I want to capture a bandit or two to find Kasey's whereabouts, unless Francis knows.

Without another word, Garnet slipped off hill top and made his way into the trees. He didn't bother with being particularly stealthy at this point; his bright red armor wasn't fit to blend into the forest. The others were much better dressed for this terrain. Even Fargo's blue tunic.
"No matter. I'll move in on the group and smash them. With some support from the rest, they won't stand a chance." Such were Garnet's thoughts while trying to get himself ready. It had been said that the red-head had the gift- or curse, of confidence. Perhaps he was just in the habit of psyching himself up.
On getting near enough, the Merc saw that there was a fight in progress. Garnet gripped his sword and small-shield in his fist as he saw the bandit's quarreling amongst each other. As he stood under the eaves of the trees he was seen by a bandit who pointed at back at him. You could see realisation dawning in his face as he finally pointed at Garnet and shouted, "Kill th' ... uhh.. Kill 'im!"
Garnet stepped in and caught an incoming blow on his raised shield. The axe slipped off and down into the trap the swordsman had managed to set up. Garnet made a cutting motion and the Bandit's axe was pushed downward. Stepping back, he managed to regroup himself for a moment before awaiting the next bout of action.

The fighting had turned into an uproar, and while Francis wasn't really in the mood to have to fight (nor was the most experienced of the bunch), he found no other option. Giving a rough punch across the jaw to one of his former allies and before finishing him off with a well placed hack of his axe ( -1), he shoved the body off, before realizing the fight had gotten more chaotic: a swordsman not of their group joined in. Now if someone was helping him out in this fight, he'd better help them in return: common courtesy and all that good stuff.
As one of his comrades lunged at Garnet, Francis dove in, taking a gash across the arm (-5hp) before thumping the bandit upside the head with the flat of his axe (-1) sending him to the ground, dazed and confused (reference)," Hey, don't worry there, I'm on your side!" he gave a brief shout to the swordsman he now had his back to, eying the people he'd formerly raided with.

Abel came out of the trees fighting a bandit that thought he would try attacking the new comer from the forest. He blocked a few hits and then found an opening in the bandits guard. He knocked the mans sword to the side and stabbed the man through the chest. He took a few moments to peel the man off his sword and by then the other bandits were beginning to regroup.
