Cefia tried her best to follow Garnet, but soon found it quite difficult. Before she realized it a bandit seemed to have popped up out of nowhere. Her mind didn't register the danger immediately, instead her body kept on moving until she reached the area where Francis and the others were.
"Finally caught up ta ya!" she exclaimed, but quickly turned around to meet the bandit. Cefia had always done things in order, from high to low priority. She charged in with her steel axe, metal colliding with metal. It wasn't time to play games, so she slammed her head against the man's. Headbutts were somewhat her specialty, especially when one needed to win. With that she brought down her axe, but only managing to leave a wound, before the guy ran off.
"Like I spake, when be we really goin' t' bash some heads in?"

Garnet was about to attack a bandit who shouted at him when, he realized what the man had said.
"Hey, don't worry there, I'm on your side!"
Garnet wasn't going to argue with him. he despised people who preyed on the weak, but in combat, one couldn't be picky.
"Fine!" An axe flew down and knocked his blade aside. and he turned his thoughts to going after his opponent. He didn't trust his new ally, so he maneuvered to keep an eye on the axman. As he swept in with a sword blow, he was surprised to see it knocked aside he took a fist blow to his head and fell backwards.
As the attacking bandit charged, ready to crush Garnet's skull with his axe, the merc hurled his buckler into the axe wielder's face. Teethe went flying (a couple anyway) as Garnet stood up and then pressed in with his re-secured blade. Crimson covered the sword as it was retrieved from the chest it had pierced.

"There were about ten of us guarding the camp. The rest of the group were heading north, unless it wasn't north pardon my lack of direction, back to our main camp with some hostages." Why Francis was saying this now was beyond him, just figured that's why these people were there, as he gave a punch to the face of a spear man before swinging his axe down in a way one could relate to an executioner, shoving the lifeless frame off before jumping back to cover his acquiantance's back, though he stumbled a bit due to the weight of his axe. He wasn't all too nimble like a swordsman, obviously...
...and his feet hurt...maybe one day he'd get some actual shoes...and actual clothes...and an actually filling meal...and a lot of other basic necessities...

Abel ran and jumped, landing next to Garnet and blocking a bandits blade. He batted the mans sword aside and slashed at his arm but found his attack blocked. He saw another with an ax coming along with the rest in tow. Abel took a blow to the side, bruising it. Taking the chance he hit the man on the temple with the side of his blade. He quickly tied the mans hands and feet with the rope he brought. I hope he knows where Kasey's at because these guys look like their not going to give up. Abel turned to face the regrouped bandits.
OoC: I was going to make the other bandits make one final assault on Eric's village and then Aeros and Tut were going to jump in, but your idea could work. They could just stop at the main camp for reinforcements and supplies.

The red headed merc began to feel the rhythm that came with working in a group of fighters returning. To his immediate right, Abel had smacked one of the ruffians and bound him up while he was stunned. The friendly axman was there too, watching Garnet's back.
Garnet got to a good position and waited. Fighting as a close unit was different than fighting on your own. Those trained in it could carve through large numbers of the uninitiated. His training with his fellow guards was serving him well now.
He spotted what he was looking for. A bandit was preparing a strike against Francis. The man stepped in with a swing, but before he was fully committed, Garnet put his blade where the man's hands needed to be.
The bandit managed to stop his blow before he pierced his own hands on Garnet's sword. His attention diverted to that for a moment, Francis was left with a wide open shot on the bandit.

"What th'ells going on 'ere!?!" Cefia shouted, her voice booming from the use in woods. This sort of thing rarely happens when they were at sea, simply since there wasn't any real medium to travel from and it was a necessity. She quickly covered her mouth, finally realizing the group was on land, not water. She watched Garnet fight another bandit, but she wasn't sure if she should join in. The other guy, that seemed to be a bandit was helping, so he was on their side?

Francis whirled about Garnet, before swinging down upon his former comrade (the bandit, not Garnet) with his axe in a diagonal strike, before watching as the last bandit took off running to catch up with the group heading out with hostages. The former brigand performed a fist pump into the air, before patting Garnet and the other swordsman on the back,
" Good show there mate! That was truly heartpoundin'!" he laughed, adrenaline still pumping through him, obviously, as he looked around the area, before realizing they had yet to be formally introduced," Name's Francis, by the way. You sell swords are...?" It was then he noticed the green haired axe beauty watching them...She was most likely a part of their group: how many people were with them?!

"I'm Abel from Arphen, and this is Garnet and Cefia" Abel said to the new comer.I wonder what happened to Fargo...He wiped his blade on the grass and sheathed it. He watched the other bandit's run, disgusted at their cowardice.I hope this bandit or Francis knows
He walked over and dragged the tied up bandit over to the group. The man was unconscious, so he through some water in his face from his water skin."Do you know where Kasey IS? A blue haired girl in a dress?" "She ran away a long time ago," he said with a sneer."And lucky for you I know where she is." "Where?" Abel said sternly. "The same place those bandits went," he paused."Thats right, she's going to die along with that petty village." "What village?" "The one in that direction," the bandit said pointing in the direction that the first group of bandit's had gone. "Thanks for the info."Abel walked off to retrieved his pack from a tree in the forest.

Theian looks down at the area, and finds people with brigands. "Ho, Eragon! Do you find those men in need of assistance? I do! We shall fly down, and assist them! Afterwards, get them to join our glorious mercenary guild! Fly down, Eragon, Fly down! No, not that quickly! Just down low enough to grab their attention!" Theian puts his head down as the wyvern lowers...
"HELLO! May I have the knowledge of who I am addressing?"

Cefia looked at the approaching flying lizard and the two men. One of the men had cotton candy hair. She wasn't up to any little game, nor did she want any more trouble than what they already have. The girl they were looking for ran off with bandits at her heel. Now an idiot and his friend comes yelling like she did.
"You two, are you bandits? If so, ye be ready for me t' beat th' cr** out of th' both of ya!" she spiked out, slamming her right fist onto her hand and cracking her knuckles.

Theian lands and jumps back as he sees the pirate. "Whoa! Easy! I am no bandit. No need to be violent. My name is Theian G. Makarn, write that down. This is my accomplice, Eragon. We were going to Ilia when we saw your dillema. I wish to assist you, then ask you about something... ah... later. Again, who am I addressing?"

"Stay inside and lock your doors. They're a good ways away. I think I got a little while before they're here."
Evayl listened to the orders being given to the villagers, but paid them little heed. Really, she could just get on Melyngar and get out of there, but she knew she couldn't. Evayl watched as defenses were fortified. She sighed and gripped her reigns. She'd been asked by a few of the villagers to go and look for someone, anyone, who could help them. It's not as though she'd be of any help with the fighting.
So, when Evayl saw the last bandit scout retreat into the forest, she spurred Melyngar and rode the horse as fast as she could. Her heal staff jostling at her hip, Evayl threw one look back at the village and memorized it and the way back.
The forest wasn't ungodly thick, so it wasn't difficult to manuever Melyngar around in it. Before long, Evayl heard the sounds of battle in the distance. "Stay alert, girl." she whispered to her hourse. Evayl rode in the direction of the noise, keeping her senses sharp in case a bandit were to jump out at her.
Melyngar slowed down the second Evayl relaxed her reigns, taking the chance to rest if only for a short while. Evayl examined the battle, trying to see who was thief and who was a potential ally. Well, the thieves were easy enough to identify. Evayl's eyes widened when she saw a wyvern- an honest to Crowley WYVERN- among the scene. That sealed it for her.
Evayl trotted over to the people grouped near the wyvern and waved her staff in the air a bit. "Excuse me! Are any of you interested in selling your services to save a village?" she asked.

Theian's eyes shined gold, as his mother's eyes once did when she was a merc. "Sell services? Of course we'd help you!" Theian runs over to her, and bows. "What may be the problem, milady? Actually, we should talk about how much we," he motions towards Eragon, Abel, Garnet, and Cefia, "should be paid first. How about... say... five gold coins a-person?"
His eyes continue to glow with a golden color as he shouts to them. "Come on! Maybe we'll find what you're looking for over there! Come over here!"

Abel returned from the forest and the first thing he saw was Eragon. The first thing he heard was something about a village."What village? Is there a girl named Kasey there?"Abel realized that the attack had already begun. Some blue-haired guy talking about gold."Shut up about GOLD! My sister is there. Where's the Village?" he looks to his friends."Will you guy's help? I don't have any extra gold to pay you with, but will you please help?" OoC:Um... I'm embarrassed because this is all I got

Cefia was real tired of this guy, especially him acting like the boss. SHE was hired by Abel's father, not him, but the job was still tantalizing. However, to make sure this guy get what it means to drag her into other business, she threw her axe, narrowly missing Theian's head.
"Oops, my finger slipped, sorry," she said, her voice sounding less sorry and more like, I'm going to kill you soon. Well a pirate never changes.
