He didn't say a word, this wasn't his fight to participate in. Kelvin was being insensitive and Chelsea was insulted by the thought of her horse, or her, being inferior just because they were from Sacae... Maybe there was more to it then he felt. He hadn't really been out in the world long, but he did notice there was a slight air of dislike for the Sacaen Nomads. He didn't think much of it, but by hearing the hurt in Chelsea's voice... It seemed like a much bigger, and more real issue.
He stayed back, quiet. He went along with Chelsea as she left, since he really had no choice, and he was there when Kelvin rode up to try and apologize. He was also there to hear her breakdown. He wanted to say something, but he stayed silent... this wasn't his place to say anything. Still he found himself speaking all the same. "Are... are you okay Chelsea?" He asked, concerned about that fight she just had. Her and Kelvin were an item, right? If so...

Chelsea cried quietly to herself, pulling her headband down once again. Spirit, the horse Kelvin thought was inferior, knew exactly where she should be headed and kept the course. That was a Sacaen trait. Kelvin was an idiot. How could he think Sacaens were inferior? Didn't he care for her? He'd certainly made it seem that way. He had even said he loved her...
She was pulled out of her thoughts by Valcrist. She sniffed as she spoke. "N-No... I'm not ok..." How could she be? Had he not been paying attention? Foolish boy. No... It wasn't his fault. He was just trying to help. It was Kelvin's fault. Those words stuck with her. Kelvin...

She was crying, he could hear it in her voice as she spoke. What Kelvin said really hurt her, the animosity must be pretty steep that it would cause her to react in such a way. He himself didn't quite understand it, why would Lycians even act that way to Sacaens? It must be because he was from Nabata, so it was lost on him. But what he did know is that Chelsea was hurting, and that made him feel bad as well. I don't think you're wild...
"I'm... sorry." Was all he could say. What else could he say? He was sorry she was hurting, and he was sorry he couldn't help.

Yaen laughed. "Don't get me wrong, Wyatt. Axes are very useful, both inside and outside of combat. But I wouldn't call it art. Skill, yes, powerful, yes, but not art." Yaen laid back on the ground, his arms tucked under his head. "I don't expect you to understand, but for me, the sword is more than just a weapon. It's a way of life. It's a faith."

Harlow felt a little like he was intruding upon the argument Chelsea and Kelvin had just had, but he didn't let his discomfort register on his face. "Eh, don't worry about it," he said. "Disputes like that always fall upon groups like this. But I'll admit, that did seem to come out of nowhere." He didn't want to pick sides in this argument, especially after just meeting these people, but Chelsea's reaction had really caught him off guard. He knew that their was some ill blood between Lycia and Sacae, but he could tell from the instant he'd met Kelvin that there was not even a hair of that kind of chauvinism in the man.
"Women are hard to figure out," he mumbled, half to himself and half to Kelvin. Heh. Not that she's even really a woman - more of a child... "Listen, she'll calm down by the time we get to Laus. Just make sure you don't let it go unresolved."
After that, Harlow fell silent. He felt like there was a cloud of tension hanging over them that would have choked out any attempts at conversation.
