Kelvin and Merio had stepped up, along with a few other soldiers within the group. Counting them all, 10 people were going into the castle.
"Very well, then. Lady Saffra, feel free to follow us whenever you are ready. I will inform the castle guards of your presence."
With that, the small group headed towards the towering building a few blocks down the central road. At the gates, five men stood guard, fully armed. The men opened the gate without even saying a word. "A young woman by the name of Saffra will probably come by soon. She is roughly of my height, and has long, purple hair. Let her pass as well, and lead her to the marquess."
The guards simply nodded, as the group made it's way into the throne room, shortly after leaving their horses at the courtyard.
"I am Lady Lucy, second in command of the Golden Lance division of cavalry of Pherae, leaded by Sir Rayl" she said as the group entered the room, bowing in front of the man sitting on the throne.
"Pleased to meet you, Lady Lucy. As you may know by now, I am Sir Morgenstern, marquess of Caelin. What brings you here? I was simply informed that a Pheraen unit was coming this way"
OoC: Post getting too long. Someone continue this. They are NPCs talking, after all. >_>

At this moment, Kelvin stepped forward.
"Kelvin Calderon! I haven't seen you since you left for your training."
"Well met. Marquess Morgenstern. It is good to see you. As my commander has informed you, this is the Golden Lance division. We've been traveling across Lycia seeking assistance in our march against the Prophet. We need to know, will Caelin lend their support?"

"I only need to know this beforehand. Is it true that Ostia has fallen to the blades of Etruria?"
Gabriel stepped forward, bowing. "Gabriel Waltz, former Etrurian noble" he said, introducing himself. "We do not know that, sir. We have been told as much by a messenger, and intend to travel to Ostia to see the state of things for ourselves."
"I see. Very well, then. Caelin is small, but you still have our support. I request a report once you are fully informed on the situation of Ostia, if you would.
"Of course. We will send a messenger to each nation post-haste once we get to Ostia".
Marquess Morgenstern called for one of his aides and sent him to the courtyard. "You have twenty of our finest soldiers to command, Lady Lucy. Take care of my men." he said.
OoC: Time for Saffra to pop in.

Saffra was a little slow in getting there herself. Her demeanor was much like a noble woman's, confident in the way she moved, if not shakily without the counterbalance of the wings on her back she was so used to, but she was getting so much better at walking normally. It wasn't long before she came to the castle grounds, the walls were thick, and tall, not much like Ostian's, but for a small nation, Caelin had a fine castle. There were a few guards around the gates, but keeping well composed, she offered a soft smile to each of them.
"My name is Saffra, riders from Pherae have gone along ahead of me, might I please enter?"
There were a few looks back and forth among the people nearby, but the guards gave a nod, having heard already from Lady Lucy that she would be granted entry.
"Of course, Miss Saffra, the Lady Lucy told us of your coming, we will show you to them."
With a punctual look, she flicked some hair over her shoulder, and walked between the two large men with their halberds brought up vertically, almost as if they were toy soldiers. Saffra found it cute they way their duty carried them, but she said nothing.
A large archway formed with closed doors, and after a brief time of walking, she was upon the rest of her group that entered. The two guards gave a bow to the Marquess and departed, which was strange, Saffra guessed she would have to introduce herself.
"Greetings, Marquess of Caelin, my name is Saffra, a pleasure to meet you."
Saffra made a small curtsy to the leader of Caelin, this...Morgenstern...a strange name. She had entered just as the man was saying something about Twenty men, but had kept herself back till there was that break in what was going on. Twenty men? That's hardly enough for a guard detail...but Saffra kept her mouth shut, atleast the man tried to give support.

Lucy spoke up once more. "Sir Morgenstern, you probably have been told of this, since marquess David of Pherae has sent messengers everywhere, long before our departure. Pherae has recently had a dragon join it's forces."
"Yes, I am aware of that. But I took the messenger for a fake. Is it...really true?" Morgenstern was still sitting on his throne. A little tense now, but he kept his composure.
"Yes, it is true. However, she is on our side and would never harm us. That is, as long as we trust her. Dragons are very much like us, and it is time we leave the past behind. It's been over a thousand years since the war already. Whatever grudge remains standing between dragons and humans should be erased. I don't expect anyone to come to terms with that easily, but I ask of you that you accept said dragon as a member of Lycia, much as she is a citizen of Pherae, as it stands."
Marquess Morgenstern stood up. "I won't believe that dragons still exist until I see one personally. And even then, I doubt my people would so easily accept a dragon."
"Then at least inform your people of the existence of said dragon. And I assure you, she means no ill will."
Time for you to shine, Saffra...

Yaen looked at Mikar and laughed. "And thats why I walk." he replied. "I can't stand horses. So fussy and uncomfortable to sit on. I don't like shoes either. I like to feel the earth under my feet. Unless of course its a bryer patch. I try to avoid those." The myrmidon chattered on. They were almost to Ostia, weren't they? Then again, he'd heard that Ostia was destroyed. Wich meant there was no need to go, right? Yaen wasn't sure. Would it be dishonest if he just left now? Technically, he had learned what became of the great Lycian city.

Saffra's lips only seemed to get tighter together when Gabriel told the Marquess of what she was taking Aerious' warnings seriously. Should harm befall the people she was with, she would run, far away, maybe. However, when Morgenstern refused to believe in dragons unless he saw them, her lips curled into a pleasant smile, always, she found that reaction amusing, thought she knew not why.
Looking to Gabriel, she gave a small nod and tightened her scarf around her neck so it would no longer hang just behind her shoulders, and focusing a small trickle of power through her stone in hand, her large wings grew, well, appeared outstretched and wide, much longer and taller than her own body.
"I am what people call the Manakete, the dragonkin...we do exist, Honorable Marquess."
She gave a sweeping bow, showing no sarcasm or mockery in her actions. When she lifted herself up, her wings folded back behind her, and remained for now, she loved her wings, and thought the light blueish colour to be beautiful, almost to the point of being as purple as her hair, it was hard to gauge sometimes.
"If you require further proof, Marquess Morgenstern, I would be pleased to take my true form, but the height of your roof would not be adequate to house me in full size."
A cheery smile flourished over her lips, and the look she took was of calm and pristine, wanting so much to emulate noble women she had read about in stories she had read as a child.

Upon seeing the blue wings grow out of Saffra's back, half of the soldiers in the room took out their weapons and stepped forward, aiming at the dragon. At the same time, Gabriel jumped in front of Saffra, two fireballs floating slightly above his hands.
"Don't you dare..." "Stand back!" The marquess' words resonated throughout the palace. It was shaky, but it had certainly eased the guards. Gabriel extinguished the fireballs with a flick of each wrist. Morgenstern stepped off his throne, coming closer to Saffra. "Interesting. So you dragons still exist, after all."
He was circling around the mage and dragon, ignoring the boy as he took a good look at the blue wings. Morgenstern looked at Saffra, and then back at Lucy. "Fine. If Pherae accepts her as a citizen, then I have no qualms with it. Minister, hear me out. Let it be known that a dragon is a friend of Pherae, and of Lycia as a whole. She must not be harmed, and make sure that the people understand that she isn't harmful"
"Thank you, Marquess Morgenstern. We appreciate it."
"I am sorry, but I will have to ask you to leave the palace. If it is true that Ostia has fallen, then we must prepare for a possible attack as well. I hope you understand."
"Of course. Again, thank you for your support". Lady Lucy turned around and left the place, as Gabriel and the rest of the soldiers did likewise. Not long after, they were back at the plaza.

Chelsea was walking around the plaza when those who had gone in the castle came out. She watched them slowly, picking Kelvin out of the crowd. She waited until the got closer before moving towards him. Something had been on her mind now for a while, ever since he had mentioned it. She brushed some hair out of her eyes before speaking. "Kelvin? Um... I heard your family has a horse ranch. Could I maybe see it?" She loved horses so...

Wyatt had gone off on his own, and returned to the plaza shortly after the others, with one notable addition.
A two handed War Maul, roughly five and a half feet tall, a wonder the boy could carry it. He wouldn't be swinging this monster with any finesse, but with something that big, it wasn't really designed for finesse anyway.
"Hey guys!" He greeted them pleasantly. "So how did the meeting go?"

Kelvin smiled as Chelsea approached. After she had asked her question, his smile grew even bigger. "Of course, I'd be happy to show you. I kinda wanted to head there myself. I haven't seen my parents in forever. You'll love it there, we have at least five horses, usually more. That's where Kashmir was born, raised him myself." As if on cue, Kashmir was at Kelvin's side, ready to go. Kelvin hopped onto his horse and motioned to Chelsea, "Are you riding your horse, or are you gonna rid with me?"

Chelsea smiled as she hoped up on Spirit. "Sorry, but don't want Spirit to be lonely." Not that Spirit would be lonely, it was Sacaen after all. She just loved to ride her. They pranced forward until she was next to Kelvin and waited. "Lead the way," she said with a smile. She was excited to see all the new horses, and it might be interesting to meet Kelvin's parents and see where him and Merio got their personalities from. Plus, there were horses. Did she mention the horses? Cause there were some of them there. Horses.

Kelvin trotted over to Gabriel to let him know where he was going. "Gabriel, I'm taking Chelsea down to see my parent's horse ranch." And without waiting for a response he took off, soon leaving the city. After a short ride, a cluster of buildings began to appear in the distance. He was home. As he got closer, he could see his father being bucked around by a horse, trying to calm it down. Mother stood nearby, shaking her head. "Mother, Father, I'm home!" he shouted.

Chelsea rode slowly behind Kelvin, looking at him as they rode. She still wasn't sure what to think of him. She got lost in her thoughts as they rode, not paying much attention to where they were going. Thankfully, Spirit was more than able to lead the way and followed dutifully. When she heard Kelvin shout, she was snapped out of her thoughts and looked around. So this was his home. There was a man, probably his father, trying to calm a horse, and a woman who had to be his mother watching nearby. She felt herself start to go red, but wasn't sure why. Maybe Kelvin was having a bigger impact on her than she knew. But she'd worry about that later.

Kelvin's father lost focus when his son yelled to him, and was thrown from his horse. He quickly recovered and walked with Kelvin's mother to see him. "Kelvin, my boy!" he shouted giving Kelvin a big. "I see you've brought a lady with you. Has my son finally found a woman?" Kelvin's face got deep red as he leaned in and whispered to his father, "Father, not now!" His father laughed a little,"Oh, I'm sorry, did I embarrass you? So, who would you be?" Kelvin's father said to Chelsea.
