Kristoph smirked as Morgoth asked how it went, thinking back fondly on how well it had gone. "He ate it up! I bluffed him so well, even I was starting to believe my story. You now have five Laus knights at your disposal: Ser Brent, Ser Graigor, Ser Halas, Ser Victor, and I think the last one was Ser Kyle. They are meeting us here shortly. And the marquess also said he would do his best to send even more soldiers to aid our cause as soon as he can." Kristoph beamed at his new partner, allowing himself a brief moment of pride.
"And yes, I shall be accompanying you to Pherae as well. If you want, I can stay here and await the arrival of the Laus knights and then when they get here I can meet you in the town square. Does that sound good to you?"

Kelvin nodded at Gabriel as he waved him over, and he and Chelsea went to go sit down at the table. "Morning, Gabriel," he said sitting down at the table. He listened quietly to the discussion, rolling his eyes at the mention of the... awkward wake up strategy. After, Aaron had finished talking, Kelvin interjected, "So, where do we go from here?"

OoC: Continued from Drunken Lullabies.
Mikar looked at the bartender with evil in his eyes. He picked up his shot glass and threw it at the bartenders head. It shattered and knocked him over. Everyone looked at Mikar, but all that did was encourage him. Mikar jumped over the bar table and picked up the bartender and threw him over the bar. The man crashed into an empty table and broke the table. Mikar jumped back over the bar and ran after the man. Mikar picked up the man by the shirt and threw him halfway across the room and through a window that shattered.
Mikar jumped out the shattered window and ran to the man scrambling to get up. Mikar once again grabbed the man by the shirt but this time he carried him over to a nearby lake. Mikar punched the man in the face, then threw the man in the lake. "No one cuts me off!" Mikar wiped the sweat off his brow and walked back into the bar. Everyone was starring at him. Mikar sat down at the bar and turned to the man sitting next to him, who was starring in bewilderment. "Howdy!"

"Well, I believe all we can do now is-" Gabriel was interrupted by the barman flying over their table and out through a window. The man who had thrown him sped off past them and out of the bar as well, followed by a few others that probably wanted to help the barman.
Gabriel shook his head. "I was saying, we should head back to Pherae and tell the marquess what we know. It's not like we can do much more as it is. Wonder where Rayl and Lucy head off to..." he said, lowering his voice.
The man who had thrown the barman out of the building had come back, and sat at the bar again. "Isn't that...?"
What was it? Makar? Mikar? He was with us for a while, and I think we got separated after the incident at the academy here. He was with Harlow, if I'm not mistaken

Mikar finished the tankards of ale and staggered off to the middle of the room. He was glancing around the room and spotted someone familiar. What was his name? Gabby Gibgub? Gaberral?Gabriel? No... It was Gibgub.. "Hey! G.. ib..gub! What's up ol' buddy? How ya been *hic*." Mikar staggered over to Gabriel's table and climbed up on his table. "How ya doin buddy? Wanna sing? Okay then come on!"
Mikar reached down and grabbed Gabriel and lifted him on the table. "Come on you know this one!" Mikar said as he restrained Gabriel from going anywhere, by putting him arm around his shoulder. Mikar started singing. "Cause I am the pirate king! And It is a wonderful thing!." Mikar sang as he swayed back and forth.
Mikar came dangerously close to the edge of the table, and slipped and fell. Gabe fell with him and somehow landed under Mikar. Mikar crushed Gabe under him, and Mikar was too drunk to realize it. Mikar made no attempt to get up. "Meh I like floors."

Gabriel had no time to react, and found himself on top of the table, "dancing" along with Mikar. "Damn it, just...ugh". Mikar was far stronger than he was. The table wasn't the most stable one in the world, and shook back and forth with each step the pirate took on top of it. "We're going to fall, Mikar!"
Right...Mikar. That's his na-
"Woah!" both fell off the table, Mikar crushing Gabriel under him. "...an't....t...up...eathe"
All of a sudden, Mikar was blown off to the side, with Gabriel getting on his back, trying to recover his breath. He had managed to shock Mikar with his newly learned spell just in time. Any longer and he might have lost consciousness due to lack of air. Gabriel tried to get up, but instead decided to simply sit on the floor. "He may be old, but he's far stronger than I am" he said, stopping every other word to breathe.
"Hope that shock brought the old man to his senses"

Aaron was listening to Gabriel, when the bartender suddenly flew over the table and out the window. He could hear some of the other partons saying, "Heh, just like Night at the Soldier of Fortune!" Some spilled their drinks as they followed, perhaps thinking to aid the barman. He was after all, their source of drink.
Gabriel was just saying something about heading to Pherae when a name caught Aaron's ears. "Rayl? Sir Rayl of Pherae?" had this young mage met the knight? Everyone knew that Sir Rayl was on his way to becoming a living legend, or at least everyone who had any concept of recent events.
His question was cut short by the reappearance of the man who'd thrown the barman out the window. "Howdy!" Aaron thought that maybe, just maybe, this was a man that reacted violently when intoxicated... or not.
He was forced to revise his first opinion when the man seemed to suddenly single out Gabriel for a round of impromptu dancing on the tables. Aaron jumped back as the large man, leapt up onto the rickety, wobbling surface, hoping that it wouldn't give way, and injure them.
"Ahh... My training didn't cover what to do in this situation." Eventually, the scene played out. Mikar, as he heard Gabriel call the man, fell off the table, crushing the mage beneath him. Within a moment though, before Aaron could even try to roll the pirate off, he was blown back.
Aaron stood for a moment, looking between the two. He was trying to remember the surge in Anima he felt right before Mikar had been thrown off. "Gabriel, a-are you alright? Was that...?" the Thunder tome

Chelsea watched everything happen with Mikar, the crazy old pirate guy from before. He certainly was a character. She giggled a little when Gabriel sent him flying; it was funny for such a little guy to send a big one that easily. The archer slid off her stood and made her way over to the mage and reached out her hand to help him up. "I hope it did, otherwise he might just make you dance again." She fought to keep a smile off her face, though it was a failing battle.

Gabriel grabbed Chelsea's hand and got up, getting himself to the closest chair and dropping his entire weight on it. "Not funny, Chelsea. The man's probably as heavy as a whale" he said, laying back on the chair.
The pirate rested on the floor. Still breathing, given his movements, but apparently too drunk to even care. He'd probably rub it off later. The guy lived through a building falling on top of him at his age. A small shock like that one should be nothing.
"I'm fine, yes. This isn't as bad as when Saffra..." he stopped. Aaron probably had no idea that dragons were roaming the land again, and he thought it wouldn't be a good idea to bring that up now. Gabriel ran his hand through his hair, trying to remember where he had left the conversation. "Nevermind. Oh!" he said, recalling what the mage had said before Mikar started his act. "Yes, Sir Rayl, leader of the Golden Lance division of Pherae's army. Do you know him?"
He took out his thunder tome and looked at it while waiting for Aaron to answer. Who'd have thought I'd use you this soon? Hah. Talk about paying back old debts.

"I've not met him personally, though I made it my business to know current events, as well as myths and legends. Sir Rayl is probably the closest thing that we've got to a Hero of the Scouring these days.... So, he's the one that started this, right?" That made sense, the mage guessed. Aaron rubbed his chin in thought. He'd STILL forgotten to shave! What is this. Is he going senile?
"Pherae hm.... My business here is done. My family is safe and they'll know I'm safe within the next day. As I've said, I'll gladly throw in my effort for your mission."
Nearby on the floor, the green-haired mage couldn't help but notice the "Pirate King." He still seemed to be recovering from that shock. Gabriel seemed to think he'd be alright though.

Kelvin merely sat back as he watched the events on the table unfold. It's good to see Mikar hasn't gotten himself killed yet, Kelvin thought to himself. "I'll stay on with you for as long as you need me," Kelvin added in after Aaron, "My cousin left you in charge, so it's you who I'll take my orders from. Where do we go from Pherae?" He inquired, leaning in towards the table.

"Thanks, guys" Gabriel said with a smile.
"I hadn't thought about it, actually. First priority is to get there and inform the marquess of what we know. By now, the envoy we sent a few days ago shouldn't be that far from Pherae, but those don't know about the events at Ostia. Or about those damned wolves" Gabriel said, rubbing his left arm. The pain was gone, as were the marks on the arm.
"Perhaps we could go and search for Rayl once we are done with this. Unless of course the marquess has other orders for us."

Morgoth was about to answer Kristoph when a burly man grabbed the bartender and, with many theatrics, left with him and returned without him.
I could probably use an crazy imbecile like that, Morgoth thought, but if I went after every idiot I came across I wouldn't get anywhere. But I could;d use some experienced help.
"My friends, Morgoth said to them after walking up to them, "I do not know your plans for later, but I shall tell you mine in case you wish to help." This'll be good practice for later, he thought. "I've caught wind of a rebellion in Bern. So, naturally, I thought I should help. Using a contact I was able to get the Marquess' backing to head a small force that will go and help Bern." Morgoth paused.
"Now, the idea is that once Bern is free, it's military might will be also. Plus Bern will owe Lycia for it's help. Then we tell, under the Marquess' direction, that Bern's debt will be paid if they help Lycia deal with the riff-raff called Etruria. So, will you help?" Just then the two officers walked in.

Chelsea was quiet as Aaron and Kelvin both said they'd follow Gabriel back to Pherae. Inside, she was torn. Of course she wanted to stay with everyone, especially Kelvin. But, at the same time, ever since Val and Yaen and the others had left for Sacae, she'd been wanting to go back herself. Ride back and spend some time training at her home. Retrieve her father's body and give him a proper burial...
She knew if she went it would have to be alone. But could she leave Kelvin for an unknown amount of time? Would he be ok without her? Surely they'd both be fine, they were quite alright before they had met, but... it would be tough. She'd have to talk to him later. This wasn't something that was going to leave her mind. She needed to go back. The only question was when.

Mikar lie still on the floor after being shocked, which could have given him a heart attack. The old pirate stood slowly up and glared at Gabriel. Then he saw a man walk over and discuss a plan about helping a rebellion in Bern. Mikar rubbed his eyes and looked at the man. He had really nothing else to do. So he looked at the man. "Ill come. It gives me something to do."
Mikar walked towards the table to sit down but tripped over him self and fell. He smacked right into the table and it flipped over on him. Mikar went crashing into the floor with the table landing on top of him. Mikar sighed. "Why is it that I always end up on the floor?"
