As Reylan grew increasingly skeptical, he decided that he would head along to Badon, figuring that the rest of the group would catch up hours later. "Cebrail. I've rested enough I think we should continue Badon."
Retrieving his lance and mounting his horse, Reylan motioned for it to ride alongside Cebrail. Turning to him, Reylan spoke, the road to Badon still looming in front of them.
"I've just noticed this, but we haven't really had a casual conversation since we've met. All we've been doing is fight. It gets quite irritating, honestly. I don't know about you, but I trust this group with my life, even though we've only been together for a short time."

Mana could see the bandits coming, there was just ten bandits. "Just ten? And they dare to attack our camp." She couldn't believe her eyes. Then an old soldier patted her head. "Sometimes this is happen. They didn't know we have a camp here. Maybe they just see you two, one girl and one woman, and then decide to rob you." Mana smiled, it felt like her mother patted her head. "Leave it to us. Archer! Release your arrows but don't kill them." The archers nodded then began firing their arrows. None of the arrows hit the bandits, but that was enough to make them scared, they ran away leaving their weapons behind.
OoC : Maybe we need to relax a little, enough with fighting. It is time for character development. I know my post is weird but I can't think for better idea. I can edit it if you want.

Cebrail nodded and soon enough, the two were off again to Badon. After a few moments, Reylan turned to him and made an interesting point. He laughed to himself. "It's true. We really haven't had a chance to talk since we met. Strange isn't it? Though this group has been together for a short time, I suppose, I trust everyone too." He thought for a second. Did he really trust the group? He hoped they trusted him, that was for sure. Vice versa wouldn't be so bad.
After a few minutes of silence, Cebrail broke it with a question. "After we bring Balthier back to the camp, what are we going to do? I have no real plans, I'm kind of making this up as we go." Cebrail was thinking again. Maybe they could return to Ostia and rebuild. It would be nice...though they would need more help and supplies. He shook it off for the moment. It wasn't his decision alone to make. He would ask the other Ostians.
Looming over the horizon was Badon, along the coast. "There it is. We'll wait there until Balthier arrives." The two continued down the path in the heat of the afternoon sun.

"Eh?" Balthier opened one eye, still laying comfortably on the rock. He turned his head and saw the men approach, on horseback, and he closed his eyes again and sighed. "About time." He smiled in his half-sleep.
He began to whistle again as they approached, keeping his eyes closed. He waved a hand in their general direction.

As Cebrail spoke, Reylan realized that Badon was closer than he expected. Responding to his statement, Reylan semi closed his eyes. "I guess it'll take time for us to get used to them. I personally believe in every single one of them, some more than others. As for plans, we'll see what happens. I have no important affairs either."
Badon's gates seemed to open to them automatically. The city was almost as beautiful as Santaruz, but a lot more welcoming. Reylan dismounted his horse, slowly pulling his horse by the reins. However, it refused to move. "Come on, you lousy beast... sorry. I've never been good at controlling this thing."
Eventually, the horse reluctantly picked up its hooves, walking patiently behind Reylan and Cebrail. Reylan constantly turned his head, admiring the unfamiliar city. As Reylan scanned the area, he spied a purple-haired mage relaxing comfortably on a rock.
"Balthier, we meet again."

Cebrail laughed loudly. He hadn't expected their purple haired mage to have been there so soon. "Balthier, since you're here, we might as well turn around and head back to the camp. You could tell us of your travels if you wish." The soldier smiled, it was good to see the mage again.
"Well, come along then. If we go now we could get back by nightfall." He leaned forward and whispered into the horse's ear. "Sorry buddy. No real rest like we hoped." He turned the horse around and began to trot down the path from whence they came.

How unnaturally reckless of you, Cebrail. I know we just reunited with him, but... ah, well. Reylan smiled at Balthier. "So, how was your trip? It's good to see you back here. Allow us to accompany you back to camp. It's quite a distance from here, but the others are waiting for you."
Reylan mounted his horse, taking great care in not being too rough with it. He was still uneasy about riding long distances.

"Hm?" Balthier opened an eye at them, and jumped off the rock, brushing himself off. "Yes, my travels. Let me tell you of them once we're back at camp, yeah?" He laughed too, along with the others. "It's good to rejoin you. I suppose now all that's left is to fell Mana's wrath..."

"Stupid bandits" Mana shrugged. They ran away like chickens leaving their weapons on the ground. Mana would never do that, at least she would take her weapons with her if she had to run. Weapon was a soul of warrior, and Mana, she had a Sacaen pride within her heart.
"Bridget." She turned to the thief. "Thanks for earlier. Now, do you want to talk? I want to have a friendly chat with you."

Bridget looked at the weapons dropped and laughed. They were rusted and almost broken, utterly disgraceful. Bridget picked one up and looked at the many imperfections in the metal. "Ugh, fail." she said.
Bridget heard Mana calling her, so she looked over at her. "Yes, let's talk." she said. Bridget motioned for Mana to come over. "Now, I think since we're the only women here, I should teach you some proper etiquette. You're a lovely girl, and once I'm done with you, boys won't be able to take their eyes off you!" Bridget smiled at the younger girl. "Well? What do you say?" she asked.

Reylan chuckled. "Mana will be pleased to see you. I doubt any of her anger will show when you return."
Scanning the path ahead of him, Reylan spoke once again. "We were fortunate enough to not run into any miscreants. The path looks just as safe as it was. Let's go."
Flicking the reins on his horse, Reylan sped forward, beckoning his comrades to follow him.

Mana shook her head. "Well, I don't know anything about etiquette. I grew up in Sacae where we didn't need etiquette or formality. Everyone in our tribe was considered as bother and sister." She remembered her tribe, now she felt sad. She wondered if anyone survived that attack, her brother, was he still alive?
Mana smiled to hide her sadness. "B-But I think I can learn from you Bridget."

Bridget smiled and clapped her hands. "Excellent!" she squealed. Bridget set her bag down and opened it. She took a blue strip of cloth out and showed it to Mana. "A big part of being ladylike is having good posture. Good posture for you might be difficult, since you're so used to holding that sword. But this will help." she explained. Bridget, with almost lightning-fast speed, wrapped the cloth around Mana's waist. "It's a little uncomfortable, but you can just whip it off when you need to, and it'll help you stand up straight." she explained.
Bridget stood in front of Mana, hand tapping on her chin. "You have great bone structure. Don't smile too much, it forces your face. Try to be more aloof. Like a half-smile. When you're talking to men, arch your back. When you're talking to women, give it a tiny hunch. Not too much." Bridget smiled and gave Mana a nod. "That's not everything, but we'll see how you do. When the boys get back, try your new tips out. I promise you'll see a reaction."

"It is difficult." Mana did everything what Bridget said to her. But she never tried this before, beating a bandit was more simple than this. She felt a little uncomfortable, but it was too late to stop now. She already said that she liked to try, and it wasn't her style to take back her words.
"L-Like this?" She tried to smile, it was awkward but at least it was close to what Bridget meant. Mana tried really hard to follow Bridget's instruction. "Uuuh, I feel embarrassed. I hope the boys won't get back soon. "

OoC: Timeskip, the thread started to slow down. Time to reunite everyone!
The three men approached the encampment. The hustle and bustle that Cebrail and Reylan had left behind was already calming down. He smiled and turned to Balthier. "My friend, welcome back to the Ostian camp. We've all missed you." They entered the camp slowly, the other soldiers took notice of their return. He quickly hopped off the horse and whistled loudly. From behind the tents, a white horse galloped towards them.
"I told you I'd take care of Edelweiss until you'd return. Here he is." He smiled and led the horse back to it's owner. "I'll find the others." He walked off in search of their companions.
