As Reylan and Cebrail finished off the escortment, Reylan in particular was relieved to find everyone safely in camp. Balthier seemed pleased to return to his comrades, even if he was tired from the trek.
"Balthier, rest as you see fit. I trust that you're fatigued from the trip."
As Cebrail put his things away, Reylan walked towards the center of the encampment. He saw Bridget and Mana there, apparently engaged in a conversation. Giving them a tender wave, he proceeded to his tent. Everyone could rest easy - for now.
OoC: It's up to you as to where we'll go next. I was thinking we could timeskip to the next morning, and in between that period of time, Reylan could do a support conversation.

Ooc : Sorry about my absence it was the first week of football and I start so I didn't have time to post. Also this is hopefully my last short post and this s before the others get back.
Ic: Selibas was embarassed about overreacting to the thieves so he walked over to a tree and sat down. He didn't understand how these people could sleep in tents. It was more dangerous and limited sight. Selibas layed down at the tree and took a nap while waiting for Cebrail and Reylan to bring Balthier.

Balthier casually nodded to the others, then stepped off the horse, brushing himself off. He rechained his cape to his shoulder, and gave everyone around the camp a few glances. He turned to Cebrail.
"Thanks for keeping the horse safe, I sincerely appreciate it. I owe you one." He laughed a bit, then turned to Reylan.
"I would guess we all need our own decent rest... including yourself, friend." He began to walk off, when he stopped, and it seemed as if he'd remembered something.
"Where is Mana?"

Reylan nodded. He was certainly fatigued, but he wanted to speak with someone first. The question was, would she lend him his ears? However, it was not a matter of importance.
He was somewhat tempted to retire to his tent, but perhaps the effects of a long journey were oblivious to Reylan's mind.
Sighing, he retreated to his tent anyway.

OoC : What will we do after this?
Mana heard that her friend had come back, "Lets go to see them." She took Bridget's hand and started running, thinking what she would do to Balthier. She was irritated because he left without saying goodbye, he deserved a slap on his face.
She saw Balthier and Cebrail, the myrmidon waved her hand, trying to get their attention. "Ceb!!! Balt!!! We are here." She totally forgot what Bridget had taught her and behaved like usual Mana, cheerful and a little boyish.

OoC: We'll either timeskip to the next morning, or wait for Cebrail to post. I hate only doing OoC posts, but this one was necessary. I can't really have Reylan do anything else unless we timeskip or Cebrail posts. If he doesn't post by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to timeskip anyway.

OoC: Sorry guys, been kinda busy with school. I've been checking in to see if anyone decided to push the storyline but I guess not :/
IC: Mana was pulling Bridget along and began to wave at him and Balthier. She was happy. Strange. I thought for sure she'd hit us both. He laughed to himself and walked to the girls. "Anything happen while we were gone?" Everything looked fine, but he thought he should ask.
Hmm..... I'll speak to everyone in the morning.... He wanted to know what everyone wanted to do. They had been encamped here for a days and most of the men had recuperated. What they would move on to, he wasn't totally sure about. His stomached grumbled loudly from behind his armor.
"Uh... Hold that thought. I'm going to go whip something up. I'm assuming you guys want something too?" He ran off to find the dining tent.

Reylan was halfway to his tent when Cebrail asked about bringing the group some food. Reylan nodded, his stomach grumbling loudly. "I'll accept anything, Cebrail. Thank you."
Yawning, Reylan took a seat on a nearby tree stump, the tunic under his armor caked in perspiration. Although he was tired, he would surely be fatigued in the morning if he didn't get anything to eat.
As he waited for Cebrail to return from the dining tent, Reylan contemplated his role in the group. He was grateful for having so many allies. Yet, he still felt like a burden to the group. In all seriousness, he was merely a common soldier with a flair for loyalty.
I made plenty of clever decisions for the group, but maybe I'm not worthy of this sort of role. Maybe I'm better off as a common soldier after all... no, Reylan. Don't convince yourself that you're a burden. You're a valuable asset to the others, and you know it. ...That's it. I know what I must do.

Cebrail was tearing through the tent. He grabbed cabbage and onions and tomatoes, throwing them into the cauldron he found. This feels familiar. He stopped for a moment and thought back to when he first made soup for the group. Then continued on to grab a few eggs from under the chickens.
Throwing in some water and adding some salt into the cauldron, he began to quickly dice the tomatoes and onions, all the while peeling the cabbage. Tossing them back into the cauldron, he cracked open the eggs and dropped the yolk in, quickly breaking it and mixing it with the water. Vegetable soup is...boring. He went back to the dining tent and found that some cooks had already defeathered a chicken. Stripping it of it's meat, he chopped the chicken meat into pieces and added it to the soup.
After a few minutes, he poured it into bowls and passed it around, saving some for himself and his friends. Taking a tray, he placed five bowls on it. In case we run into Selibas... He added another bowl and went back to find his friends.

Reylan was still deep in thought when Cebrail returned. He was clutching a bowl of what appeared to be vegetable soup. Reylan accepted it eagerly, mumbling a grateful "Thank you".
Since no silverware was available, Reylan took a sip out of the bowl of soup. The flavor was rich and hearty, and it had a distinct herb-like aftertaste. Even though the soup was only made with a cauldron and a fire, it was very satisfying.
Smiling, Reylan finished the soup in a matter of minutes.

Balthier bit his lip as he waved slowly to welcome Mana. "Yes, hello there." He smiled at her slightly, and chuckled under his breath.
After the formalities, as the others were suggesting food, Balthier shook his head and waved his hand. "I'm fine. Not too hungry, really..." He rolled his neck and looked up into the evening sky. "I may have something later.
He noticed Reylan, and as it looked, he had something heavy on his mind. Balthier disregarded it, and went to lounge on a rock, beginning to whistle.

Selibas turned over in his sleep. He was having the same horrible dream he had been having since he left his village. He looked at a war torn battlefeild. A young blonde soldier ran toward a wyvern rider.
He fought him and had him close to death as a cloaked mage walked out from behind the wyvern rider. She sent a bolt of lightning at the soldier. Roger ran and took the bolt and died istantly.
The young soldier looked angirly at the rider as the commander screamed " Pull back!". The blonde soldier picked up a javelin and threw it at the rider. But the mage shot a ball of flame and burned it in mid air.
Now Selibas was curious his dream had always followed the soldier but this time he felt himself moving toward the rider. The mage laughed stepped onto the wyvern and pulled of his hood.
Not his, hers. He wasn't close enough to tellher features but he was getting there. He saw the rider first. He had orange eyes and white hair but other than the color Selibas couldnt tell what he looked like. Then he saw the woman she had his shade oh hair and eyes. She was clearly Sacaen Selibas couldn't believe his eyes she had left Sacae for a Bern Wyvern Rider.
Then he looked to the man. Selibas saw himself with white hair, orange eyes, and a white beard. Selibas screamed and realized he had jerked awake and was screaming louder then he thought possible.
Selibas got cooled down and smelled food clearly made by Cebrail. He got up and headed for the dining tent. He walked in without word grabbed a bowl and sat in a corner.

Bridget sat quietly, having followed Mana and observed the way the group interacted. When Cebrail handed her a bowl of soup, she gave him her most pleasant smile. "I am most grateful, sir." she said, taking the hot bowl. Bridget blew on it lightly and watched the others once more. At the moment, she was concerned with watching Reylan and Balthier. They were the only two she had yet to get much of an opinion on. Her eyes darted between the two of them, and she decided which one to address.
"I would like to speak to you later, if it does not inconvenience you, Sir Reylan." she said to the knight. "You are the leader, of course, and I must make myself useful to you." she explained. Bridget smirked slightly. "I am good at many things. Not all of them involve stealing and combat." she told him. Bridget took a sip of her soup. "Speak to me whenever you have need of my services." she told him. With that, Bridget went back to eating.

"Ah, yes!" Balthier lay near silently on the rock, then decided to speak up, pointing to the sky. "The stars! Ah, what a pleasant sight for sore eyes... Haven't been able to really watch them in a while." He couldn't tell if anyone was listening or if he was talking to himself, but he sighed anyway.
He pulled himself off the rock and dusted his garb off, then located Mana out of the group. "Hmph."
He walked over to her, waving a hand, and laughing a bit. "As I hear it, you're pretty mad at me." He smiled at her.

Reylan was about to retire to his tent when Bridget suddenly approached him. She asked him for a conversation, her violet eyes showing signs of intrigue.
"Very well. You seem like a valuable asset to the group. I very much would like to get to know you more. You may speak with me whenever you like."
Bridget nodded, then returned to her meal. Reylan secretly had wanted to speak with her ever since he first met her. She seemed odd at first, but perhaps she was reliable. He would have to experience that for himself.
