He finished his bread and wiped his hands. "Well then. Let's keep going." He sat back up and started walking again, not caring whether Gabbiano was ready or not. Dark clouds were looming, he realized they would have to find shelter soon. He didn't like the rain. (OoC: I was thinking this whole thing was taking place when Sabin first enters the Ostian camp, IE before the morning timeskip.)
He began to walk faster, they had to get to the city. (OoC: By city... Badon or the village we were gonna stop at?) Suddenly, the first few droplets of rain hit his face. He stopped in his tracks and wiped it off his face and sighed. "Come on. This rain'll slow us down if we don't hurry."

Gabbiano smiled and chuckled as the other thief quickly rose and began to take off towards the (OOC: Yes, a village, very close to Badon. Half a day's walk to Badon, unless you want something different) village where they would stay the night.
Gabbiano nodded, and rose himself, following quickly behind the black-cloaked thief as rain began to come down. Gabbiano liked rain, but the thief was right, it would slow their pace. "Yeah. We'll stay the night here," Gabbiano shouted through the now-storming sky, "and make for Badon tomorrow. It's a short walk."

OoC: Timeskip forward to the Inn!
IC: The two entered a small inn. It was small and dank but would provide what they needed. He looked at the innkeeper who was sitting at a small table reading a book of sorts.
"Ahem." He covered his mouth and continued staring at the innkeeper. He looked up from his book and saw Suzaku and his companion. He got up quickly and shook hands with the two men.
"Sorry sirs. How may I help you? Would you like two rooms? Or possibly one?" The innkeeper smiled largely, making Suzaku feel slightly uncomfortable. He didn't like what he was thinking. He cleared his throat again and leaned in close to the man's face. In a serious voice he said "Two rooms."
The man held up two separate keys and handed them to the men. Suzaku grabbed one and started walking towards the rooms down the hall. "We'll leave from here at dawn. Until then, do whatever." He continued walking to the room without looking back at his fellow thief.

Gabbiano smiled wryly as the innkeeper was seemingly put back into place, then Gabbiano snatched his key and cleared his throat. "Hmph," He muttered, as the black-garbed thief walked off without him.
Although it wasn't too terribly late - even though the moon had well entered the sky - Gabbiano saw nothing else to do other than sit in the storm. He waited for the other thief to vanish, then walked outside the door and sat in a rocker under the Inn's canopy. He listened enjoyably as the rain and thunder poured down, and quietly whistled to himself as he soon lofted into sleep. He didn't need his room key after all...

Suzaku found his room and looked inside. Just like the rest of the inn, it was simple and bleak. He didn't really care. He walked back to the lobby area and saw through the window that Gabbiano was sitting on a rocker. Suddenly, the innkeeper came up to him.
"The matter of payment..." The man smiled largely again. He was getting on Suzaku's nerves. If he kept smiling like that, his fist would be in his face. From his pockets, Suzaku pulled out a small parchment with a symbol on it.
"Do you know what this is?" The man gulped loudly and nodded his head. "Good. If you tell anyone we were here, you won't wake up the next morning." Now Suzaku smiled. He enjoyed threatening the innocent. He had a slight annoyance with adults. Children, strangely enough, he had no problems with. Quite the contrary, he liked children. Suzaku walked back to his room and laid on the bed and drifted off to sleep.
OoC: Timeskip to dawn!

The sun rose quickly and quietly across the sky, bringing with it an orange and clear sky as the morning itself began to timidly approach. It was early indeed.
Gabbiano awoke with a groan; he loathed mornings, especially the heat, humidity, and insects that very everywhere at the crack of dawn. He stood from his chair, arching his back as to get the cramp out, and yawned. The thief brushed himself off, and looked into the window. He hadn't realized that he slept the whole night on a chair. He smiled with contentment.
Gabbiano opened to door and peered in; the innkeeper was at his spot, and Gabbiano gave him a slight smile and wave. He sat down in the lobby area and awaited his fellow thief so that they could make Badon with haste... they could make it there by noon easy.

Suzaku came riding up on two horses, brown Lycian Thoroughbreds. He had small sacks strapped to the saddles. Suzaku sat on the lead horse, pulling along the second as they came galloping up to the inn. He stopped and was expecting the thief to still be asleep outside. He sighed and got off the horse.
He entered the small inn and stared at the thief. Without saying a word he exited the building as abruptly as he entered and sat on his horse once more.
"Hurry up. We've got a camp to meet up with."

Gabbiano chuckled, and rose quickly. He walked outside back into the disgusting sun, and mounted his horse. He wasn't a very good rider, but haste is what they had to make. Horses would clearly do that. This way, Badon would be a faster journey for sure.
"Yeah, we do..." Gabbiano started, trailing off. "So will you blindly attack Balthier upon sight at the Badon camp?" Gabbiano tried not to actually sound concerned, as he wasn't, but nonetheless... he was curious.
