"Umm... You can call me Jade, Jade Reglay. I'm umm... From Etruria as well... So... can I meet this Sir Gabriel please?" answered Jade, deciding to be a little less rude. After all it was one of his leads to his parents. He had to find his parents no matter what, even if it meant him having to do things he normally wouldn't have done.

As the wyvern nuzzled the armored paladin, it looked over to the small boy, and leaned in to lick the boy on the cheek and gave a sort of fanged smile (giant flying reptile + sharp teeth + foul breath + plus close to face = ), being oddly friendly for an animal of war, and Dakota too went up to sniff the two strangers (it had already confirmed that Aaron was...well, that green haired man who stunk of sulfur.), when The Holy Knight caught that look in Jade's eyes, and his firm expression softened to his usual warm smile. Rayl looked down to the boy, a hand moving to the paladins chin in mild contemplation, before he extended a hand to the young mage," Tell me then, young Sir Jade, of the Noble House of Reglay, how have you gotten so far from home, and escaping Etruria's Great Purge of the noble homes no doubt! I'd rather know more about you before I tell you anything about my friend and Third-in-Command...however, Sir Gabriel will be resting, as should we all at this time. If your business is dire, tell me so and I will allow you to share a room with Sir Winsett," he waved a hand to indicate the green haired man," for the night, where you may then speak with Sir Gabriel in the morning...it's the best I can do at this time, but I assure you, if it's important you shall see him. Sir Winsett, Sir Mernatel you may find rooms to stay in at the estate...however I'm housing multiple men, so you three may need to share a room. A building can only (comfortably) hold so many people. Now, if you will but excuse me, I have to tend to someone." With this he gave a bow to the three of them and with a moment of hesitation climbed onto the winged animal. There had been a time when the Marquess requested he learned how to fight on a wyvern... ...it didn't work out. as the winged beast took off, the paladin clung onto it as it glided across the ground and back to the front of the ranch house, where a waiting maiden of golden hair sat waiting...even in this fading light she was so elegantly beautiful. Dismounting from the creature, ignoring how he was shaking from flying on it ( why he chose to go across the field like that he'd never fully understand...), he patted it on the side as it then took off and back across, where it would go back and land at the side of the green haired man who it didn't have the pleasure yet to cover in wyvern slobber...and tiny pieces of flesh from some unfortunate animal.

Mernatel watched the Wyvern fly back over. He loved the small dragons and this one seemed more like a lovable pet then a war animal. He walked over to where the animal had landed. He had always had a talent with the scaley beasts and the younger licking his outstretched hand did nothing to disprove that.
Mernatel had wanted to be a Wyvern Rider. But the ruthlessness of his uncle had made all battalions and Corps of riders reject him. He realized that that had saved his life. He would of been with the first battle of the rebellion beside Nella. And he would of been killed by the men who had trained him. The Knights of The 33rd. Well what happened happened and he was here. On a Ranch with a group of people not from Bern willing to help it. This is where the freedom of Bern began.

Watching the knight fly off, Jade decided in his mind that perhaps the knight was not so bad after all. He looked at the other two people there and when they did not make any move, Jade made up his mind to retrieve his stuff from the Inn.
"Umm, guys, I'll get my stuff from the Inn." Jade said, nodding at each of the two in turn.
Jade then turned and ran towards the Inn, thinking of what he could find out about his parents. Hopefully the Sir Gabriel would be able to help him. Jade had thoughts of his life with his parents and tears welled up in his eyes. A strange uplifting feeling crossed his heart when he thought about being able to find his parents again.
Jade rummaged through his bags in the Inn. His money was still intact, the rest of his belongings were still safe. As he prepared to leave, a picture of him and his parents caught his eyes. Tears flowed from his eyes as he thought back to that chaotic moment. To escape the memory, Jade immediately started running back to the estate, his tears flowing as he ran.
When he stepped back on the compound, he hurriedly wiped his tears away, although the sadness and loneliness had still remained in his eyes.

Mernatel decided it would be a good time to go to sleep. He bowed to Aaron and made his way to the estate/ranch. He looked in rooms until he found one with an empty bed. He finally found one with a lot of Etrurians but an empty bed. Mernatel nodded to the soldiers and started taking off his armor.
He thought of how the Rebellion would fare. Yes they had generals but generals needed soldiers to command. That Rayl man could probably help him. Although he didn't like his political politeness. Mernatel had seen it before. The stereotype of Bern that they were all crazy over exagerating patriots. But other than that he like the man. And cavalry would come in handy.

OoC: Rayl Torien's estate is as follows, according to Rayl:
There is The Pasture, The Training Grounds, the paved road leading to the large estate house, then there is the ranch house with adjorning stable where Rayl lived as a kid and still does. He basically uses the Estate as a fancy baracks for his troops. or a hotel for passerbys
BiC:
After things started winding down, and after the mage escaped from a short but thorough wrestling match with Fang, Rayl's wyvern, Aaron excused himself to make sure his horse was untacked, and properly groomed.
Aaron's singed, worn, blue cloak swirled lightly around him as he he left from turning Fable loose. Keeping in mind that he'd be sharing a room with Jade, he headed back to the "house". Jade Reglay seemed an interesting sort, even with first impressions taken into account. The Reglay name... Aaron remembered the name being mentioned back when he was first learning the magical arts. His Grandfather had mentioned the name. Commented that the man had been a masterful practitioner despite his relative youth.
The lad seemed tired and lonely. A likely combination for a refugee."I suppose we should find a place to stay the night, eh Jade? Let's go."

"Umm... All right..." Jade replied the green-haired mage. He seemed to have lost all of his previous hostility and annoyance from earlier.
Jade followed the green-haired mage into the house, and into the room that was assigned to the two of them. He saw the two beds prepared for them and he walked over towards one of them and put his bag on it.

Guinevere looked up as she heard a noise approaching. Her first thought was to jump back and grab her spear. But that was in the house. Then she noticed Rayl was riding on the creature's back. After he dismounted, she waited for him to get closer before standing up and brushing off her dress lightly. She gave Rayl one of her radiant smiles as he got close. "I thought you might have forgotten about me for a minute or two there." She felt her cheeks go slightly red and hoped it was dark enough to hide it. The blonde-haired soldier held out her hand to the paladin. "Care to show me to a room?"

"I'd have to be dead to forget about you." lightly placing a hand on her shoulder, he looked up to the lovely moon that began to creep up, illuminating the area. He was trying to count the amount of people he knew were in his head and how many were sharing a room, and eventually came to only one conclusion: If Guinevere was to have a room in the estate, she'd be sharing it with someone...and the only people in the building were men...
It was thus he hesitantly said the following," I...think you'll be sleeping with me." he paused, then spoke quickly and nervously," N-not like that, of course! you'll be taking me-my room, and I'll just be setting up a blanket on the floor...in the main room." With this he calmed down quickly, and moved his hand away from her shoulder in a sheepish manner," I doubt there are any rooms in the estate unless you want to share one with a lonely man, and this way you won't have to trouble yourself with moving your things from my room."
Why did she put her things in his room anyways? Let alone go into the ranch house instead of the estate...

Guinevere felt her face go redder as Rayl stumbled his way through his explaination. When he stopped, she took a step towards him and slipped her hand into his. She took a little breath and looked up at him. "I know what you meant, Rayl, and it's very sweet of you to worry about me like that. And I won't have you sleep on the floor because of me. If anything, we'll share the bed or I'll be the one on the floor. I won't have you sleeping on the floor in your own house."

Rayl paused, and if you could see his face, well...it was as red as her's," B-but Lady Guinevere, it is the duty of the host to make sure that their guests are comfortable..." he gripped her hand warmly before smiling," But...if sharing a bed would make your more comfortable than knowing I was on the floor...so be it." With this he slid his hand out of hers, and slowly ( and nervously) put an arm around her waist," Well then mi'lady...shall we step inside? It's getter colder and darker as we speak."

Gwen smiled and nodded. "Yes, let's head inside." She walked with Rayl as they made their way to his room. She had to admit she was happy he had agreed to share the bed. She would have felt bad if he had to sleep on the floor because of her. When they finally reached his room, she headed straight for her bag and fished in it for her night gown. She found it after a few seconds, gave Rayl a smile, and headed to the restroom to change. After a minute or so she was back, wearing a pink night gown similar to the dress she had on before that but lighter. "How do I look?" She gave him a little twirl and a laugh.

Gabriel had gone to his "usual" room early. He was sure that it'd be hard to get some place to sleep, given Rayl's new comrades, plus it wouldn't hurt to have some time to think.
So...close. I hope they are ready. They have no room for mistakes. I have no room for mistakes. I...I need a shower. I have to get these thoughts out of my head for now.
The cold droplets had him sneeze and shiver. Wish I had access to the source of the water. A small fire to warm it would help.
Gabriel let himself drop on the bed and stared through the room's window, looking at the now-dark sky. I hope I still have their support.

OOC: Huzzah time skip time. IC: Night fell upon the estate and not a soul seemed to move about it's halls. The animals rested peacefully in their stalls, and when the rooster crowed, calling in a new day, people began to move about in the estate, soldiers waking up and chatting to themselves, assistants tending to the house and cooking meals. Rayl himself actually slept well, a first. patting Dakota on the head, and running a hand down the dog's bristly fu- it was at this moment that Rayl opened his eyes in confusion...Dakota's fur wasn't so long...or soft...Usually his trusted hound lay on the bed with his owner, but...well. Sitting up, Rayl looked to the sleeping figure of Guinevere, and then nervously looked under the blankets. Oh, good. Getting up, The paladin went to his dresser, and quickly changed out of the clothes he slept in, and after patting the (actual) Dakota on the head proceeded to don his signature armor, still shining brightly despite having not polished it since obtaining it in the cold stone temple of Barigan. Wrapping the tattered red cloak around his person, as he tightened it around his collar, he couldn't help but think about what he wore now: mementos of his two greatest heroes. Moving back to the dresser and opening another drawer, he picked up a book and ran an armored hand over the cover: The Magnificent Adventures of Crowley
A series of stories gathered from across Elibe
by Sir Rayl of Pherae Setting the book back inside the dresser and shutting the drawer, he made his way for the door, though stopped as he opened it to look back to the woman he just spent the night with ( not in that way, mind you.), and with a smile exited the room and headed outside into the fresh air, as birds (and wyvern) flew overhead and horses ran out in the pastures.

OoC: Time for Reylan's epic (but not very creative) entrance Hopefully it's appropriate to join... xD IC: The sun had completely risen over the horizon. The weather was uncharacteristically warm, but the young knight wasn't complaining. It was the perfect setting to ease his tangled mind. He dismounted his horse for a moment, giving it a gentle pat as he did so. It was the first time in perhaps a month that Reylan had felt so relieved. Although he still had conflicting thoughts, he felt like he could set them aside for a while. Calmly, Reylan guided his horse down the wooded path, admiring the fresh air. His mental tranquility didn't last, however. It had been two days since he had eaten, and needless to say, his stamina was dwindling. A few more minutes of walking led Reylan to a paved road. Blinking, he could slightly make out the outline of a structure a few hundred yards ahead of him. He realized that he must be in the grounds of a manor estate. As he approached the estate, a sudden chill ran down his spine. Stopping abruptly, Reylan thoroughly examined the appearance of its exterior. This place was all too familiar. Suddenly, the realization hit him. His father had brought him here several years ago. Not only did Reylan remember the estate, he also wondered how he ended up in Pherae. Surely he couldn't have traveled so far in merely a day? It seemed too surreal to be true. Cautiously, Reylan proceeded towards the manor house.
