At last, they arrived in Delfia, the capital of great Etruria kingdom. They spent the first day looking for inn for them and stable for Aragog. Annete seemed enjoy walking around the city, Delfia was really different than another city. Church, Magic Academy, and Magic Shop were seen everywhere. Etruria was a kingdom known for its great knowledge of magic, it was just normal to see magic attributes everywhere around the town.
After they got enough rest, they looked for a pub to get some informations. After wandering for hours, they found a big bar in the middle of the city. Annete got a bad hunch just with seeing it, but they needed to do this. Theodor accidentally told her about this scouting mission when they had dinner yesterday. She then forced Silvine to take her with him, she just didn't want to see him going into the danger by himself. Annete was a kind woman, but she was also bold when she had decided something.
They entered the bar, the inside was crowded. Almost all tables was already occupied, and the barman looked busy with the bottles. But what made everything scary was the guests, mostly was thugs, criminals, mercenaries, or travelers. Of course they had weapons, some of them also showed their weapon by placing them on their tables.
"Sil-Silvine...Are you sure you want to ask them? That seems risky."

"Annete, relax. I can tell that these guys are not our regular bunch of rogues. The sure are not like those knights we fought back at Dyne." he replied.
"Besides, if things get worse, we can fight them back. And we've got Theodor with us. Oh, and the city guard would want to get rid of these rogues as well. So, just stay close to me at all times, and you'll be alright." he winked at her.
Silvine sat at probably the only open table available to the three of them.
He heard the conversation of the table nearest to them. There were like four thugs sitting, each having knives.
The most buffed up thug said,"Heh, those knights are just brainless. Its quite obvious, they're just going to their graves. A direct invasion would just incur severe losses on both sides. Its not like I care though, us thieves can just steal a lot better, makes our job easier."
The skinny one said, " I've heard rumors that they've planted spies and mages in lycia, just to soften it up for the big kill. I think, we'll have a tough time tealing here bro."
The buff one replied," Yeah, we need to weaken the Etrurian army so that we can see blood on both sides. I'd do it, if we had more people to join us."
Silvine saw his chance, he knew he could not miss this.
"I'm really sorry to interrupt sir, but I heard you want to infiltrate the Etrurian army's ranks? Do you think its possible?" Silvine asked the buff man.
"Who are you? And WHY would I tell YOU?"he replied, intimidatingly.
"Peace, brother. I'm a mere traveller who's on your side. I know the difficulties we people face from the tyrant army. I'd infact lend my help to you guys if you're thinking of doing so." Silvine replied.
The buff thug grinned. "Interesting... you want to help us eh? Hm...." he said, rubbing his chin.
Silvine knew this was the best chance.

"I-I hope you are right." Annete sighed.
Annete stayed in her seat while Silvine was approaching the thugs. She learned from her experience that she would only give him problem if she were to involve herself in a conversation. Annete knew what they were talking about, Silvine tried to join them. His mission was not simple, to spy an army he needed courage, good plan, and luck on his side. She had to admit that she was worried, but she could understand. It was not the first time she watched someone going into a danger, her father and brother were proud mercenaries who always took dangerous jobs. This fact made her understand Silvine decision.
While Silvine was talking to the thugs, a woman brought a bottle of wine for Theodor. The mage looked at Annete. "Relax. He would be alright. He is talented and good with his lance, still need more training but he is already good." He poured the wine into a glass while saying that comforting words, then he placed the glass in front of Annete. "Try some. This wine is expensive and rare."
"I know. I am just worried." Still looking at them, she drank the wine. Then she looked at her glass, the wine was delicious enough to make her forget her worries for a moment. "This wine is delicious, I never drank something like this." But then she remembered something, she had low alcohol resistance.
Meanwhile...
The last thug, who wearing black hooded cloak, was staring at Silvine with his eagle eyes. His grin was scary, anyone could see that he was not just normal thug, his skill might be exceed a knight. "We don't just let everyone join us, kid. Especially these days, when Etruria has spies everywhere.
The other three looked at him, it seemed they respected him since he was the strongest among them. The hooded man raised his head to get better look at the Squire. "Give me two reasons why I must allow you to join us."

"Two reasons huh? Well...." Silvine thought about it for a while. These guys did'nt sound like normal thugs. Spies around? Why would Etruria be after these guys? But Silvine needed to give them a good enough reason.
He turned to Annete. Hm, she seemed rather quiet. He wondered why... and then he saw her wounds. Ah yes! That was the proof! The reason to assist them!
He grabbed Annete's hand, and removed a part of his armour where he was brutally hurt. "See these wounds? Well, those were the ones we got for defending the village folk from a group of Etrurian soldiers. I've heard bad things about the Etrurian army lately, and I'd like to help you in your little plans, actually. "
He paused, and then said,"Also, I can manage my own in combat. I hope you'd accept my help?"
The thugs looked at each other. They looked quite pensive for a while, before nodding.
"You seem to be trustoworthy, mate. Meet us at the Armoury at 9 tonight. We've got some business to discuss." the ebuff man replied.
Silvine had won the mental battle. Convincing them was quite easy, it was now just planning, waiting, and acting. They'd need to be patient, spying wasn't easy and fast, it was a slow process. Things would work out eventually. Or at least he hoped so.
The thugs got up from their seats and made their way out of the pub. Silvine gave a thumbs up to them all.
He then turned to Annete. She seemed..... odd. She seemed happy, happier than normal. An then he saw her drinking a lot of firewhisky..... oh god. She was probably drunk. She stared at Silvine dreamily.....
"Uh...Annete? Can you hear me? Uh...wake up?"Silvine asked panickingly.
"Kid, quit being worried. She's just drunk, I bet she'll be alright in a few hours." Theodor replied annoyingly.
"Few hours??? Theodor.... you're to lax." Silvine retorted.
He stared at her for a bit. He had never asked her about her dance... or how she ended up in that orphanage. It was weird, seeing they had been with each other for almost 2 weeks, and they still didn't know much about each other.
He took a big gulp of firewhisky himself. His head started to spin, a pounding headache. But then.... he felt warm inside. Light, even. He admired Annete.... those lovely eyes.

How many hours had passed? How long had she been sleeping? She didn't know. She was dreaming, the snow in Ilia, the warmth of her family, the love she received at orphanage. Every precious moment circled inside her mind. Especially that moment. She was walking in snowy day, holding someone's hand, his hand was big and warm. His smile, melting the sorrow within her heart. He protected her from everyone who hated her. If this dream could last forever, it would be enough. But the bitter memories also came into her dream, showing her all her worst memories. Being hated and insulted by the members of Skyrider family, the circumstances that she had to face everyday.
The dream was ended as she slowly opened her eyes, her head felt heavy. She saw someone sitting across her, but her sight was blur. "Is that you brother?" Annete mistook Silvine as her brother. She tried to stand and walk towards him. After few steps, she threw herself into his embrace. "I miss you, brother." She started to cry, tears falling down of her cheeks. "Brother...I don't want to die. I want to see the world"
"Well, we can't stay here forever. Should I take her back to the inn or you want to do it yourself?" Theodor shrugged, it was actually his fault. He gave her wine and Annete who had her full attention at SIlvine and the thugs didn't realize that she drank too much. "So?"

"Eh??? Theo??? Take her? NO! YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!" he barked at Theodor. Obviously Silvine was extremely drunk.
He felt Annete's embrace warm and comfy. "I miss you too darling. Now, let's go to the inn." he told her.
The inn was nearby, so it took less than 5 minutes to get to the inn. He looked at Annete. Who was this girl? She looked so beautiful, yet so sad. Silvine felt so drunk, he just embraced Annete, and both of them cried.
"Moth...Mother.... I miss you." he tearfully said.
Theodor was watching all this, and he hit his face with his palm. He did not like to see these two so drunk.

Theodor did a hard work to separate them. When he was about to take her to her room, she remembered that Annete had the key. Theodor didn't want to touch her while she was like this, people might get wrong ideas if they saw. He carried Annete to his and Silvine's room and laid her in bed then covered her with blanket. Then he went back to get Silvine, he grumbled while carrying the young man to their room. Theodor sat on the floor after he finished, carrying them was not an easy job when they were drunk. Annete was easier as she didn't resist but Silvine gave him a hard time to deal with the drunk Squire.
He was watching them sleeping soundly in their beds, but now he didn't have bed because Annete was sleeping on his bed and he would never consider sleeping in a same bed with Silvine. He hoped they would wake up at evening, or he had to rent another room which mean more cost to be paid. Theodor left the room to get fresh air, leaving them in their slumbers.
The night came quickly, the promised time was near but they were still sleeping.

Silvine got a fierce dream. The whole world was dark. Black. Something was suffocating him. He was fealing faint, weak, he was gasping for breath. He fell to his knees... something was going to kill him, and he would not be able to stop it.
Then he felt a blinding light.... and then saw a beautiful, blonde woman in front of him.
"Silvine.....Silvine....baby, its alright. You are not alone."the female whispered.
Silvine got up, pale as ever. He was sweating all over. Like he had just recovered from a deadly disease.
"Who are you, oh lovely maiden?" Silvine asked the beauty. She, somehow, looked familiar.
"Why, I am Darsa, a figment of your imagination, your guide through life."she replied calmly.
" Guide through life?" Silvine questioned her. What was she saying?
"Ok, I'm not exatly your guide, my friend over there, Goldine is."she said.
"Goldine?" Silvine said in amusement.
"Why yes. You're name is Silvine, a modified name of silver. His name is Goldine, a modified name of gold." she chuckled.
"Greetings, young lad. I see you look bewildered?" the tall man approached Silvine. He was at least 6'5 and he wore golden armour. He had jet black hair. A miracle to see, really.
"Um, Goldine sir, what is happening?"he asked the valiant man.
"Well, it seems you've drunk too much, Silvine. You've been remembering about the horrible past you've had. You're dead mother, especially."Goldine replied. He had a serious look on his face.
"Well, Goldine, are you my guardian? My 'Guide through life'?"he asked the man innocently.
"Wow, you're naive kid. But yes, I'm you're guide through life. Funny thing, huh, how we people in dreams tend to be guardians." he said.
"Well then, can you tell me what I should do now?" he asked the Gold knight.
"Well, Silvine, I believe you need to be meeting someone right now?"he asked Silvine.
"Oh yes! Those thugs! I almost forgot! Well, I better be on my way-"he said but.....
"Hehehe! Silvine, nice to see you. Finally, you're through. Men, ambush and kill them.
It was no use. The soldiers surrounded Silvine, and soon, he was pierced through, pain gripping his body. He would be thrown away, another useless body......
"AAHH!!" he screamed.
He woke up with a start. That dream was extremely weird..... a bit vague even...... he didn't remember much. But he knew he was caching on to something. Looking at his watch, he notcied the time was 8:30. Only another half hour! He had no time to waste. He checked around. He was sweating, cold, pale. He turned towards Annete. She was wokem up by his scream, probably. He held her hand.... it was warm, and it was comforting. She looked at ease.... Silvine was happy. He wanted the dancer to be happy and comforted.

A loud scream woke her, she felt dizzy, like her head was being hammered. She should not forget not to drink whiskey, wine, or anything with alcohol again. She couldn't see clearly, everything was spinning around.
Something warm touched her hand, she looked to find what it was. Then she saw SIlvine, sweating and pale. What happened with him? Annete could not grasp the situation with her head still spinning. "Uuuh...So dizzy..." She muttered to herself. His hand held her hand, he looked happy. She smiled to him. "How long did I sleep actually? And aren't we still drinking in a bar?" She looked around, they weren't in that bar anymore. Where was this? After closing her eyes for a moment to stop the dizziness, she began to understand the situation.
"Ah, we are back. This is the inn, isn't it?" But as she looked around, she realized that this room was slightly different. This was not her room. "Wait..." She looked at Silvine once again with frightened look. They were...sleeping in the same room? Well, it was not a big deal actually, they even slept together inside that narrow tent when they were in that forest. But it was just different, she was drunk after drinking that liquor. Slowly, she looked down, hoping she wouldn't see what she was thinking. Thankfully, she still wore her clothes.
Feeling relieved, she took a closer look at him. He truly was sweating a lot. Annete touched her cheek, drawing him closer then touching his forehead. "What happened? Do you get a fever?" She looked really worried.

Silvine coughed. He had a pounding headache. He had to stay strong though. He looked at Annete.... she was worried? Maybe because she looked at him? He wouldnt know. But he replied,"N...No! I'm fine really, but I believe we're late for a meeting? We better go fast Annete." he told her.
He tried to get off the bad. He stood up, but then he suddenly fell down. That drink mustve been really strong. But no matter, he had to recover some strength, he needed to meet those people. It was imperative of them to do so.
Grabbing Annete, he made his way to Theodor's room, wehre Theodor was reading another book. With no time to spare, SIlvine tugged hard on Theodor's collar, urging him t come fast. "Wow, took you long enough to wake up." he said sarcastically.
"Theodor! JUST QUIT BEING A KNOW IT ALL AND MOVE IT!" he barked at him.
Theodor hastily got a few books and came. Silvine looked tensed and pale tonight, he definetly did not want to see Silvine's bad side.
---------
They drew near the meeting place to see the group of thugs sitting near the armoury. Unfortunattely, about 5 guards were surrounding them.
"Theodor, Annete. Let's hide. You might want to hear this little conversation. Also, we may need to help these guys out. On my signal, we attack, got it?" he told the other two.

"Eeeh..." Annete surprised, he told her to attack. She couldn't fight, especially because of her weak physique would give her disadvantage in a battle. "Silvine...Actually, I have been wondering why you take me here. Since I can't fight at all, I might will hinder your mission, like when we were in Dyne." She lowered her head in shame, she couldn't help at all. She was useless for him.
Theodor didn't say anything, comforting her wasn't his job, it was his. He could see that they grew this kind of relationship in the past few days, as a good man, he wouldn't get in their way.
The thugs were surrounded by guards. The hooded man, the one who gave Annete frightened feeling when she saw him for the first time, stood in front of the others. His eagle eyes was staring at the guards while his hand, hidden by his cloak, unsheathing his knives. While the others was scared, he bravely stared at the guards.
"What are you doing here? This area is restricted only for soldiers. Speak!!!" The captain of the patrol pointed his sword at the thugs. They were only five guards, but they were different than those thugs. They were well-trained and wouldn't be defeated easily. "Playing silent, huh? Arrest them." The captain ordered his soldiers.
But The hooded man didn't surrender, he attacked the two guards who coming towards him. Seeing his reaction, the other thugs got their guts back. "Follow brother Crow! Kill them!" They unsheathed their weapons following the hooded man called Crow who seemed to be their leader.

Silvine was annoyed by Annete's talk. he was already pale and weak after waking up, now he had to hear negative thoughts? No. He would not bear it. He whispered annoyingly to Annete," Why, shut up! Don't annoy me with that answer of yours. Ok fine, stay back and watch if you want. At least give a punch to one of those guards if you an, really, stay away from danger." He could see Annete was taken aback. Theodor was annoyed as well. Sure, those words were rude, but he was irritable tonight. He did not want more pressure on him. As he watched both sides get ready with their weapons, he braced himself. Any moment, he'd have to come in and pierce a blow in them. And then.... it began. * Ooc: Theme song for the battle- www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYLvj5WrKAQIC: The hooded figure stared right ahead as two guards, both wielding spears, charged at the hooded man. He just stood silent and still. Silvine saw a slight grin on his face. The first one jabbed at the man, who took a step back. The second followed immediately, trying a side strike. The man moved sideways, almost dodging the attack. The tip of the spear scraped against his ribs though, and he galtered backwards, clutching his wound. The man retaliated by a swift stike across the chest on the second soldier. It caused little damage though. He then landed a piercing blow on his arm, making the soldier retreat a few steps, holding his arm. However, the other soldier reacted quickly, with an upward thrust, hitting the man on his shoulder with the blunt side, knocking him back. Meanwhile, the other members of his group were battling the soldiers, but were struggling to cope up. The soldiers were wearing tough armor, it was almost impossible to do anything to them. The left a few holes in their armour though. They just needed an oppurtunity to strike. Silvine decided this was the chance he'd been waiting for. "Theodor, we go in now!"he whispered. Staring at the soldier in front of him, battling the shortest of the thugs, he Picked up pace, and jabbed as hard as he ould. He knocked the soldier on to the thug, who got knocked back. The soldier quickly turned 180 degrees, facing Silvine, and jabbed at Silvine's legs, throwing him off his feet. He and Silvine then engaged in a little fencing battle, where Silvine was able to block most of the soldier's slashes, but then he went for another jab, hitting Silvine in the right part of the abdomen. He experienced gripping pain, and retreated a few steps back before retaliating with his own jab, but he was injured, and therefore slow. The jab was easily blocked, and Silvine needed to do something quick. The fell forwards, letting his lance drop down, and then pressing against the ground, got up suddenly, and made for and upward slash. Silvine was fast for a moment, and easily knocked the soldier back, causing a dent in the armour covering his abdomen. The soldier knocked back Silvine with a blunt hit of the lance, but before he could attack further, the thug behind him rammed into him and pierced through his armour, killing him. Silvine gasped for breath, he was bleeding from his abdomen. He gripped his lance tightly. He was alert for any more attacks. Theodor landed a sucessful thunder on another one, but that guy was able to resist and came charging at Theodor. Theodor was fast though, and was able to dodge all the attacks dished at him. He cast a fire, which was blocked by the soldier's shield. Theodor then took out a particular page from his book. "Ah, this should do it." he remarked. As he muttered the incantations given on that page, the soldier took this chance and striked Theodor's left arm, causing a bad bruise. Theodor resisted though, and just finished with his spell. A huge ball of blue was just above the soldier's head, and the next instant, he was hit by a huge lightning bolt, and dropped down unconscious.

Theodor gave the dancer a light pat on her shoulder. "It's not your fault. He's just...not feeling well." He said that before he and Silvine went into the battle. They left Annete dumbfounded. Annete leaned against the wall, it had been long time since the last time she felt this. It was hurt. "I am sorry, Silvine." Then she thought to leave him, not now, but after they finished with their business in this place. She would just hinder his mission if she traveled with him. Seeing him sad, angry, and wounded was something she could not bear to see, now she had angered him. Maybe, although it was hurt, she should leave him. He didn't have reason to help her finding her cure after all, they didn't need to travel together any longer. She didn't cry, she was often insulted and yelled when she was still living in Ilia, just this wouldn't make her cry.
Crow looked at the coming help, he smirked. The thunder seems to take the attention of the two soldiers he was fighting with. Sprinting to the one of them, he stabbed his face before the soldier could even notice the attack. "You!" The other one saw his comrade being killed and gripped his spear with anger. A strong thrust almost killed Crow, but he was swift enough to move to the side. "Anger will not help you in a battle." The soldier tried to step back but Crow was already too close. He moved with excellent footworks while grabbing the spear so the soldier couldn't pull it back, stopping his movement for a moment. The soldier's expression was full with fear. A knife stabbed the soldier on his neck which was not covered with armor.
Crow, the hooded man, looked around. The fight didn't seem to go well, even two of his friends was already killed. "Tsk. Why do they know that we are here?" He felt someone looking at him. The captain glared at him, the two of them watching each other, then they moved at the same time. Their weapons clashed.
The last thug looked down at Silvine. "Good. You are really a great help. But if you can come sooner, we may not lose my two friends." He glanced at two dead bodies of his friends.
Annete fell to the ground, her legs losing their strength. She was relieved that Silvine survived. Now only the captain left, Crow was fighting him.

Crow battled the Boss Knight. He seemed tougher, wearing tougher armour, holding a sharper spear. But, he was much slower, and hopefully Crow's quick reflexes would help him combat this tough knight.
"Hehe. I've finally caught you, Crow Lane. You'll be sent to prison for your thefts and other 'robin hood' activities." he told Crow.
" Not on my dead body!"Crow retorted.
The knight went first, trying in for a jab. Crow stepped sideways, and striked at the knight's helmet, knocking him backwards. But he quickly recovered, and tried an upward strike, but Crow skipped backwards to avoid it. Crow moved in for another strike at the helmet, which looked like the knight's weakness. It was reasonable, seeing that a hard attack on the head could leave someone dazed.
The knight intercepted this by twirling his lance, knocking Crow back. He was bleeding from his shoulder.
And then, suddenly, he felt a small clash on his back. He turned around to see Silvine, eager to finish him off. He slashed at Silvine in defence. It was so hard that, it knocked Silvine off his feet. Silvine ended up dizzy, trying to gain back his focus.
He then met with another blow from Crow on his helmet, leaving him a bit dazed himself. But he quickly recovered, and jabbed at Crow again, only to miss once more.
Crow came in for another strike, but the knight also went in for another jab. Both remained fixed next to each other. Crow was gripping the knight's lance, trying to disarm the knight, but the knight's grip was stronger, and wouldnt let go.
But the a lightning bolt just missed the knight by a few inches, behind. The knight, startled by this, loosened his grip on the lance, and that's what cost him. Crow gave a massive barrage on the knight, leaving him disarmed, and dazed. This gave Theodor the oppurtunity to finish the knight off with his thunder spell.
Crow helped Silvine get up, and thanked the three of them for helping with the battle.
"Look, we better move to another spot, we dont want more knights behind us." he told Silvine.
"I feel the same as well. Also, sorry for late introductions, my name is Silvine." Silvine told the hooded man.
"Well met Silvine. I'm Crow Lane, leader of a group of thieves who steal from the rich and feed the poor." he replied.

They left the armory, Crow and the other thug were carrying the body of their dead friends on their back, their clothes were wet by their blood, they didn't care. Theodor had to admit that they were not normal thieves, their solidarities were great. Both of them was silent as they walked, they might feel sad for losing their friends
Annete walked behind the group, she looked down all the way. She didn't even look at Silvine, she also didn't answer when Crow asked her which annoyed the thief. Her mood was dark after that battle, she didn't know why but she couldn't even smile.
They arrived in a abandoned building, Crow looked around before opening the door, checking the surrounding. Annete could see few scary-looking guys around the building, guarding the area.
They walked down stairs until they found another door. The guard surprised when he saw his dead friends, after Crow explained what happened he opened the door for them. Inside was a big room full with boxes and sacks. There was many thieves here, drinking and playing cards.
As soon as they entered, Annete walked towards the corner and sat here. She was silent. She was still thinking about that, about leaving the group.
