I like Shaman Knight. Not that I'm particularly likely to ever play a dark user.

Whats wrong with Seer? ANyways, I'll contribute. I like Dullahan...but I played RO (I know that's not the source) and I can't see a Seer being an appropriate name. Nor Alchemist. Perhaps Shadow Knight, from those that list, is better.

(Too lazy to log in as Mavick)
Nothing wrong with seer. But seers are typically clairvoyant, and unless we're going to be seeing into the future, it just doesn't seem right.

For obvious reasons, I like Dullahan.

I see no problems with changing the name, but let me remind you that I can't actually MAKE any class titles(the only account with member group options is Kenshin's). So if the title is still called "Seer" then it will remain as "Seer".

I don;t mind seer. Like the other class names go, it doesnt have to follow myth or real world meanings for the names, such as all of the dark magic users. Shaman, Druid? If I'm remembering this correctly, those are titles for those who control and communicate with nature and the spirits. Shamans don't do that (though I think in the older games they had a spell called earthquake).
I like Occultist. It just sounds like someone obsessed with the dark arts. Oh, and Dullahan can't be a class, he's a superboss! =P

A dullahan is an Irish mythical creature. A headless ghostly rider on a black horse that serves as the grim reaper in Celtic myth. I don't really know where you're getting the superboss thing from.
Also, Druids and Shamans have been many things. In WoW they match what you described them as, but in the real world they are much different. Shamans or witch doctors are usually the medicine man of a tribe. They fashion remedies from things found in the area. They are sometimes the spiritual leaders of their tribe, but sometimes they aren't. Druid was a priest caste in Iron Age Europe in Celtic cultures. They were the ones who built Stonehenge.
So basically, they can call them Shamans and Druids if they want because the roles aren't really all that defined in gaming.

I think Shaman and Druid fit perfectly. Their spiritual beliefs are very "old-old world" and ancient. For example, the Welsh, the native tribes of the Americas, and undeveloped rural areas of Africa. Then again, you have the wilds of Asia that are yet still untamed and the new age cultists of today even in the civilized world.
Dullahan is a good choice just because of the parallels. Shadow Knight also works awesomely.

What would a seer look like? A druid on a horse? That would be terrifying.
Oh, and Dullahan was the name of an optional superboss in Golden Sun: The Lost Age (and Dark Dawn)

I am against the name DUllahan. Sounds more like a persons name then a class name.

I'm with Wyatt on this one.... What about Shade Knight?
I googled "Paladin Antonym" and Blackguard came up. Also, Doomknight, Necromancer, and Deathknight.... Necromancer would not be a good choice as it would mislead people about the class.

I wasn't saying I liked Dullahan, I was just answering Grayson. Like I said earlier, Occultist sounds pretty b.a.

Dullahan isn't a mans name at all. The Dullahan are from Irish mythology. Undead horsemen who's heads have been severed, who then carry it around on their belt.
