"So, you are a fellow collector then, Alexis? It really is a nice trade you know." he said, smiling. This was a grand lie. Humans did not deserve the truth.
" We're a bit unlucky tonight, however. The gates to town are closed, so we're probably stuck in this encampment for a while. I wonder why they've closed the gates so early, I mean, its still twilight! Its not yet dark... something fishy must be going around here..." he said, rubbing his chin.
And that was true, why would the gates be closed so early? It was like, an hour before the usual time. Alexander wondered what was it about this particular town... if he got more chance to tear human flesh, it would be good. He smiled wickedly.

As the two talked about the oddity of the closed gate, Lilith retreated behind a tree and changed. Her robes had gotten a bit short around the arms and ankles. She had found a black robe and a pink cape in her bag, along with a note the read: "When you need to fit in, yet don't want to give up your own taste, dawn these, my little shaman! -Liza".
Lilith smiled at the woman's generosity and pulled on the robes. They were just like her old ones, though roomier. They also had a slanted hem on the bottom, like an adult would wear. She then stepped out from behind the tree and and turned to Alecto and Alexis.
"So, what is this about the village? It is sort of odd that their gates have been drawn so early. We should be on our guard!"

"Oh, yes, the joy of holding an ancient artifact in my hands just makes myself feel proud. It gives me that self confidence to move on and tells me that I'm actually good on something." She nodded, looking at the closing gate.
"Yes, indeed. Why in the world are they closing the gate? It seems so early... speaking of which, Alecto, do you know of any bad rumors around here? Like... bandit assaults, and ex cetra? That can be the reason..." She added. Something definitely was wrong around here. The gates are used for protection, and if the gates are closing then there might be some invasion of such. Nobody knows.

"Oh no, I've not heard of such rumours. However..." he paused, with a grin on his face, " If there are bandits, I gues we'll have to put an end to them once and for all, after all, it'll probably be our ticket to town, and we'll probably get nice bargains."
He continued, confidently," Its not like bandits are professional fighters anyways. Outsmart them, and you've won already."

The sun had set over the far-off mountains. Not a few minutes after true night had descended on the land, the heavy footfalls of large men could be heard. "Ah. So much for sleeping," Lilith sighed. "Now, do we run or fight, friends?" she asked Alexis and Alecto, though, from Alecto's grin, she figured he was ready for a battle.
Lilith walked over to a rock the size of her head and put her fingers around it. "Stein, kondensieren Sie," she said, tapping into her magic. A black shadow enveloped the stone, exerting pressure akin to that into the belly of the earth. The stone shrunk in size, becoming no larger than her fist. She picked up the stone, which, given its new density, was heavier that it should have been. "Well, I'm ready," she said.
Five bandits made their way out of the forest, only to find their prize blocked by the trio. "Oi!" the biggest one yelled, "Git outta the way, or me and my buddies here will be waterin' the grass wiv youeor blood!"
"That would be very nice," Lilith responded. "Now, I'm not one for violence, but if you scalawags are planning to harm the people in this village, you will leave us no choice but to harm you." Lilith said eloquently.
The large bandit growled and run at Lilith. With a flick of her wrist, she threw the rock at him. He saw what she was going, and his growl became a laugh. His laughter stopped when the rock met his axe, sending it flying. "Tha' was no normal rock, eh, girly? What are ye, some sorta witch or somethin'?" the bandit said, rubbed his hand.
"Actually," Lilith corrected him, "it's exactly like that." And with a wordless command, she sent a bolt of black energy at the man, causing him to reel back in pain.

"Very good, young shaman. You are stronger than I originally expected. To think you were chasing ater me for strength." he said, chuckling.
"Its my turn, however. Let's see what these good arms of mine can do." he muttered, and suddenly a strong wind blew around him as his muscles tightened and he grew slightly taller. Time to tear human flesh, he couldn't wait.
" Ye think somethin like dat is gonna affect us, o'bearded one? So what if ye all 're witches, I'm gonna brings my axe 'pon your 'eads!" another one of the bandits said.
He charged at Alex, but alex just smiled wickedly. This man was just some ordinary for him, not a great adversary. All he had to do was...
And he did just that. He punched the guy right in the gut before picking him up and throwing him right on to a big boulder, his head crashing on to it.Surely, the small man must have died from that powerful throw.

"That's pretty impressive, lady. At your age, not a lot of people are very good with such magic." She grinned at Lilith, fiddling with her staff having no choice but to bonk the bandits with the staff. She wasn't into fighting, but she has beaten some drunkies in a bar before with just the smash to the head. It won't break, hopefully.
As a bandit came toward Alexis, she yelled trying to see if the bandit will back off. Instead, the bandit stopped running but casually walked toward her spinning his rusty axe with his hand. She acted like she was in fear until the man tried to swing his axe. That's where the move came. "Ladeh, ya' luk scared as sum rabbit in prey o' wolves." The bandit remarked as he swung it.
Alexis swung the staff hard as she can down at the leg of the bandit causing him to fall on his knees. Then, she quickly stood up to bonk the bandit comically again and again until he was unconcious and had a ruined face. "Sorry for ruining your face. I'm not too dumb like you bunch are."

Abe snored heavily. His position in the top of the tree before the mountain outlook had not changed for several hours, and the young mage was enjoying his leisure time sleeping the day away. Surely, Abe thought upon slowly waking up, he had been there since around supper time. Problem was, Abe was famished, and hadn't eaten since lunch. He did, however, hear noise, which could potentially mean some food somewhere near by. Abe smiled, giggled as boyishly as a young man could, and licked his lips. Food sounded incredible.
As he lifted his head forward from against the trunk of the tree, Abe yawned heavily, and attempted to blink the sleep out of his eyes. He reached under himself and carelessly scratched his butt, smacking his lips to rid them of sleepy gloss that had protruded them.
The young man fumbled around for his tome, still in a half-sleep state, staring blankly off into the distance. The sounds he heard became more grueling, more menacing, and were definitely not amiable people talking about the most recent gossip. Abe was directly woken from his sleep at the sound of cracks, which sounded like nothing short of cracking bones against a hard surface. He heard moans of pain, and Abe's sea-blue eyes shot open.
He fell out of the tree, landing flat on his face. He did not move for some time.
...And then he snored. Abe was, after all, a very sleepy and more a lazy person, and the troubles and tribulations of others mattered little to him. He dreamt of food; a grand feast, fit for a king, and was eventually re-awoken his stomach growling for such a meal. Abe groaned, and forced himself to get up. He grabbed his fire tome, brushed himself off, readjusted his waist cloak, and began to walk out of the forest.
At the edge, once he reached it, was a grand overlook of a medium-sized town, the soft glow of lights from below just barely illuminating the black sky, revealing in almost pleasurable way, the many stars... Save for the bandits that Abe quickly saw, it was a beautiful picture.
Instead of taking a battle stance, attempting to act cool, and try and save the day, Abe raised an eyebrow. It was a curious bunch of people, only one of which looked truly innocent, and she was mounted. There was a young girl casting dark magic, which caused Abe to take a step back, as he was afraid she was much out of his league. There was also one hell of a brute who had probably been the one to cause the sound Abe heard in the woods.
He bit his lip. The mounted woman had not severely injured whoever she was attacking, but the victim of her staff blows looked to Abe little more than a pedophile and a bandit. He laughed curiously, and took a step forward, raising his left arm.
Instead of addressing the group that was dealing with bandits, Abe hummed quietly to himself as he perused a page or two of his tome. Thereafter, he snapped it shut, lowered his left arm back to his side, and raised his right hand slowly...
A small, yellow ball of flame seemed to emerge and glow from his palm, licking and flickering at the edges of his fingers and his hand. It glowed more brightly than the lights from the village below, and illuminated the ground that Abe's feet stood on. The flames surged upwards a bit, lighting Abe's blue eyes, and a wild curiosity could be seen in them as he turned his palm outward.
The yellow ball of flame shot out at the bandit that had been knocked out by the staff, incinerating his back. The previously unconscious grunt let out a deep yelp, rolled around for a bit, then settled down and stopped resisting as the flame went out. Death took him over.
Abe lowered his arm, still expressionless, and looked around at the group. There were still more bandits. What was Abe doing here, anyway? The mage yawned quietly.

Lilith ignored the fact that some strange mage had joined their fight, aiding Alexis. She was in the zone. She took no note of Alecto's strange powers, but concentrated on the bandit in front of her. He was one of the pair that had yet to be defeated. She had summoned up her signature three balls of darkness, which were, at usual, circling her. With a whispered command, one of the blass expanded and dribbled into the earth.
Lilith closed her eyes and lead the energy through the ground, weaving past roots and burrows, for the destructive power of the orb was aimed at her foe, not the innocent plants and animals that made their living in this forest. The ground under the bandit became muddy and took on a black hue. Then, as one moment the bandit had been struggling to get to Lilith, the next, he was gone, swallowed whole by the earth.
Lilith then called back her magic, the orb returning to its place around her. She noted that the drop in her energy was much less than normal, even though that was one of the most advanced spells she had cast out in the field. Was she truly getting better?

"Our friends! Ya'll pay, dawg! Come on, Louis, let's get the man! The ladies aren't so dangerous!" another one said, turning to his partner, who nodded. They cam charging, screaming, " HEEEEEYAAAR!!"
"Bring it, scum!" was all Alexander said before he clutched two of them by their necks. On of them was able to move his good arm, and hit Alex's shoulder with the blunt side of the axe. Alexander grunted in pain as he threw the bandit a few metres away. He dropped the other one right at his feet.
"DIE, SCUM!" he barked as he punched the bandit before him right int the gut. The bandit writhed in pain as Alex stomped on his groin.

Lilith looked over at Alecto, and something surged inside of her. She felt a longing need to know where his power came from. Burying the feeling deep inside herself, she walked up to him and the now-screaming bandit. "You do not have to use unnecessary force." she then turned to the agonized bandit. "atmen nicht mehr" she chanted, summoning an orb of magic. The orb enveloped the man's head, cutting off his supply of oxygen. The man stopped struggling.
Lilith looked around. There were no more bandits, but there was a mage who she did not know. Summoning up another orb of black magic, she walked up to the man. "Hi!" she said with a hop. "Thanks a lot of helping us!" she held out her first two fingers and said, "V for victory! But, anyway, I'm Lilith! May I ask of your name?"

Abe was confused. This girl, this mage, who he had reason to be afraid of, was rather nice. Abe offered a sheepish yet bright smile and chuckled, scratching the back of his head carefully. She was younger than him, from the looks of it, but she had done much more lethal damage than he had. As for the brute, Abe was wise enough not to approach nor provoke him, so he kept his distance fairly well, and... as for the mounted one, Abe knew nothing. She seemed pretty wimpy in his opinion, but he was rather quick to judge.
Hearing the pep of the girl, and then being asked his name, Abe couldn't help but reply. His original plan was, of course, to turn tail and leave after seeing the members of this group, but the young man decided there was no way he could do that. He yawned heavily, turning his eyes towards those of this other magic-user, and spoke with an amiable tone, bowing low, below her height.
"My name is Abraham," Abe said with a pleasant inflection, "but you can call me Abe. I'm a man of few words, many thoughts, and even more yawns." He winked jokingly at her, then carelessly scratched his butt. He was also a man of many inappropriate social graces. "You don't have to thank me, the pleasure is mine." Abe flashed her a genuine smile, but he was still slightly afraid.
And still slightly sleepy.

Lilith giggled at the mage's composure. "Abe, huh? That's a nice name!" she said. She had always been interested in anima magic, though never very adept at it. She wondered if he would be as nice and helpful to her and Aaron had been, or if she would not get along with him. She smiled as she though back to those days in the woods, talking about the intricate workings of magic with the green-haired mage. "Anyway, if you plan on staying, That big guy over there is Alecto, and the healer is Alexis! We all just met, so you won't feel left out if you plan on traveling with us!"
Lilith yawned and walked over to where she had put her bedroll before all the ruckus. She stretched her arms wide and yawned some more. "All that casting has got me beat, guys! Let's just camp out here and go in to town when the sun comes up!" And with tha, she snuggled up in her bedroll and closed her eyes.

OOC: Ok guys, let's find an acolyte, and we'll have all the branches of magic together. xD
Alexander watched as the young shaman cast another spell to knock out the last bandit remainding. He had not noticed that another mage had joined their little battle. It seemed there were many magic users in this group. Probably that was a wrong assumption, since there were only four people, and three of them used magic. Alex knew his ruse would probably be uncovered sooner or later, however, he could not escape the group at the moment.
He watched as Lilith and the other mage exchanged pleasantries. She introduced him to Alexander and Alexis. Alex just smiled back at the mage, although awkwardly. These humans were tough to interact with, it seemed.
Alexander had no place to sleep in, but he could not risk it and find a secluded area to transform and rest. He was just too exposed. He needed to stay awake, sadly for him. "I'm not really sleepy right now, I'll probably take a stroll for a while." he said as he quietly tried to walk away. He stopped to look at the town below...something was amiss...people were...screaming? Something wrong was going on.
"You might want to checkt this out, people." he called out to the other three, motioning to the town below.

Abe yawned as the younger mage left him, and he turned to the burly man with purple hair. The young man raised an eyebrow as he attempted to leave the scene... there was definitely something very sketchy about this man, and Abe, lazy as he was, decided to keep an eye on him and he also decided it would be a good idea to stay on guard, even though he seemed decently friendly. After all, he hadn't attacked the group when the bandits did, and he fought them off as well.
After his half-assed efforts at helping the group, Abe wanted sleep. Of course, the mage always wanted sleep, and would sleep anywhere and everywhere at any time of the day, so he was pleased when the younger girl retreated to her bedding for the night. He wasn't so sure, however, about getting up the next morning to continue the journey down into town. Abe enjoyed sleeping well into the afternoon, and it didn't appear as though that would fly with this group...
Unfortunately, his dreams quickly came to an end as the brute man mentioned something about screaming townsfolk, and Abe quickly strolled over to the edge of the cliff, looking down. What he saw scared him immediately, and he knew that this would not end well. He sighed heavily, turning to the rest of the group, motioning them to come over, then looked back down.
There were definitely screams coming from most of the people. There were enough, Abe deducted, for the screams to reach the top of the cliff with a shrill sound, so it was definitely very loud. There was also a tall, wide building that was on fire, and it seemed as though people were being chased in the streets, though it was hard to tell that from where Abe was standing. He turned his eyes to the man beside him and asked, "What's going on?"
