As Sin walked toward the professor's lab he couldn't help feel as if he was going to be the last person to show up. He had left late this morning due to his mother having a hard time letting him go. Sin and his father spent an hour trying to get his mother to let go of him so he could step outside the house. Sin was also becoming very nervous despite living in Dias he had never seen the professor's lab before nor had he been in the part of Dias. He was also nervous about meeting new people he had always been bad at making friends he just figured people just natural stay away from him for some unknown reason, was it his hair, his eyes maybe? Sin didn't know and he really didn't care about making friends or not he just wanted to get a pokemon and then start his journey.
Sin wondered what pokemon he would get hopefully it's a pokemon he can get along with. He didn't want to get a pokemon that despised him or just straight up didn't listen that would hinder his plans of becoming the best trainer in the Dias region. He then made a mental checklist to make sure he brought everything with him. Sin knew he had most of his things but he wanted to make sure he didn't leave his cooking supplies at home. Not sure if he brought everything he stopped in his tracks and looked inside his bag to see if he indeed packed his supplies. Everything was in check he saw his pots and pans some eating utensils and a lighter. He had also brought everything else he had planned to bring with him.
As Sin continued walking he took a good look at the lab it was larger than he thought but not as fancy as he figured it would look. He figured it would look a bit more flashy but it was just a large normal looking building to him. He saw a blonde haired boy probably around his age probably older. He also noticed the boy's pokemon partner Sin didn't know what it was but he couldn't help but smile a bit at the pokemon it looked as if it was a fun pokemon to be around but that was just him. Sin wondered what pokemon that was he was very interested in it. He watched as the boy went for the door and he couldn't help but smile again today was the day he was going to start his pokemon journey he was so excited. Sin then headed slowly toward the door behind the blonde haired boy.

Lucas knew how his godfather was feeling. Sure, he didn't like children in general, but today was an especially emotional day for him. He hoped that he'd at least be able to get through the initial tutorial and the "Free For All Capture-Fest" without losing it. The young researcher snorted at that name. Professor Pine certainly didn't choose it. He wanted to call it "Bloody Kids and their Bloody Pokemon", but the League wouldn't let him. So he had to go with the name they wanted him to use or else his funding would be pulled.
Lucas descended the stairs and stood away from the assembled crowd, not really bothering with introducing himself. He figured ti was more important these new trainers get their pokemon.
The assistant waved to signal the group to follow him down the hallway and out the front door. However, once he opened it, he realized there were two youths standing at the doorway.
"Oh, excuse me. I didn't mean to bump into you two like that, are you here for the Trainer Day?" the aide inquired, adjusting his glasses.

Amanda was delighted to hear that the girl knew of her uncle. It was true that he wasn't the champion anymore, but he was still very well known as an authority on ancient cultures and stone of all types. She got ready to enter one of her famous rants when the man leading them to where they're to capture their first pokemon began walking away.
"Oh! It's time to go! What pokemon do you want to get? I hope I find a really tough one! Like a Rhydon! Or maybe a Golem!"
Then the aide just stopped in the doorway for some reason, saying somethign that she was too far away to hear. Amanda nearly jumped from excitement as she impatiently waited for the aide to move.

Athos walked back outside, following until he found a group with a large amount of young people. He walked with all the others when the aide said they would leave. He heard a girl say that she wanted a Golem. Athoswalked over and said, "Hey, umm, sorry to be the one to say this, but I think Golem's an evolved Pokemon." He smiled to try and show he wasn't trying to be mean or anything.

Sin somewhat jumped back a bit when the aide began to talk to him and the other boy. What a large group of kids! Sin started to become nervous but found it curious that an older man was among them. All the happy faces on the group turned Sin's into a small frown, he wasn't good in groups of large people. He took a step back as he was at first to shy to say anything to the man standing in front of him.
"Come on Sin speak up make a good first impression to everyone," Sin thought trying to muster up some courage to speak. He took a step forward and tightened his grip on his backpack now ready to speak.
"Yes, I am here for the Trainer Day sir...," Sin said softly. A person could here his nervousness as he spoke

Tiberius was a bit startled at the appearance of the aide, but quickly took a step back to avoid a potential collision. As the aide asked him if he was here for Trainer day, he ran a hand through his hair, a little confused. There was a schedule?
"Trainer day? I'm just here to pick up my license," said the teenager. What was trainer day? Sounded like parents day back at school. Tiberius looked over the aid's shoulder, gazing at what he could see of the inside lab. It sure was shiny in there. Shiny and clean. Now that looked like a pokemon lab. "This is Professor Pine's place, isn't it?"

The aide did his best not to laugh at the young man at the door. They usually got a few kids assuming that this was where they registered with the league every week. It actually got a bit tiring having to send them back to town. If only they would read more.
"Well you came to the wrong place, kid. This is for people with a license to get their first pokemon."

Lucas looked over the crowd as best as he could to see what the hold up was. Groaning slightly, he made his way to the back door. He never did very well with crowds of people he didn't know. Perhaps it was best that he just go tot he ranch by himself. Upon pushing in the bar on the door, however, he found it was locked. Groaning again, the young researcher walked to the head of the crowd and approached the aide at the front.
"Daniel, what's going on?"
The assistant turned around to acknowledge Lucas and motioned at the two outside the entrance.
"Just a couple of late arrivals. We should be moving soon, Lucas." Lucas looked at the two Daniel was showing him.
"This one needs a license, though." Daniel said, putting a hand on the blonde boy's shoulder. Lucas placed a hand to his chin. he looked experienced enough. Maybe he would make a good companion on the road for a while? The young researcher certainly was in need of friends. The only people he really got the chance to interact with were his godfather and his aides.
"Is that so? If you want, I could show you to New Dawn Town and get you registered. I'm headed there after this, anyway." Lucas offered the young newcomer.

Amanda whipped around to look the boy in the face. Who was he to just butt in on her conversation like that? She needed to teach him some manners!
"I know that! Just using it as an example! You apparently don't know what Rhydon is evolved as well. I used that as an example, too! Maybe you should listen more carefully!" snapped Amanda confidently. Arms crossed and head high, her grin at how well she handled that altercation was wide and bright. In her head, Amanda's pride and obviously amazing knowledge would have this boy apologizing for his folly immediately.

"Oh, Pokemon? I've already got one, I just came here cause I hear that it's tradition." Rina said to the energetic girl. "Good luck with getting one yourself though, I'm Rina by the way." She held out her hand to shake the other girl's.
This seemed to be a good start to the journey after all.

It had been a long time since Jason had been outside of the Johto region and the Dias region was a stark contrast to his beloved Goldenrod City. He had been taking the time to breathe in some fresh air before he made his way up to the pokemon lab. It was the start of a new life for Jason and he was hoping to do it right this time. He clutched the pokeball attached to the inside of trench coat and took one last deep breath. All he hoped now is that they didn't arrest him for looking like a creep. He sighed and started walking towards the lab. It didn't take him long, and he discovered that a group had gathered outside the lab. Here goes nothing, he thought to himself.
"Hello there! My name's Jason. I'm here for the Trainer Day. This is the right place, correct?"

That man... was rather old. In his thirties at least, he reminded Egdar of his tutor. The one that was fired when it was revealed he was stealing from the manor when no one looked. He asked if this was the 'trainer day' which it was, but he wouldn't be the one answering him. Still no one was saying a thing, and it felt as thought they have been waiting for ages. He just wanted to get this done and over with, hurry home as fast as possible and preferably waste the rest of his days in his room.
"Um... Y-yeah. Yes it is. Sir. Trainer's day, that is." He spoke up, it sounded almost like a squeak. "We're... we're about to go out back and get our, um, pokemon." He added with a hallow sounded laugh. Speaking of which what was taking so long? He scurried across the lab floor, near the door to where the ranch was, or atleast where he assumed it was. Some people were talking about trainer's licence. Edgar didn't need to worry about that, he's had his licence for years now, back when his father went and got it all prepared for him when he wanted to train the kid his self.
He wanted to go through the door, a touch of the handle revealed it was locked. Well that figured, they'd be done by now if it wasn't. The aide was busy with something, but it couldn't of hurt to speak up. Maybe they could get this whole thing done. "Excuse me, um, sir? When are we going to, erm, get our pokemon?" He was getting impatient, he just wanted to get home as soon as possible.

"That makes sense," replied Tiberius, rolling his eyes after the aide had informed him of his mistake. So they expect people to get the license at a different spot from the Pokemon? Great, he had walked all the way to absolutely nowhere for absolutely no reason at all. Why put a lab all the way out here if they weren't planning on handing out licences? It was like not being able to apply for a gun permit at a gun store. Thus, although it was technically his own fault, he was still a little peeved when the helpful boy, apparently named Lucas, offered to take him to New Dawn Town.
"That would be wonderful," he muttered in reply, nodding his head slowly. He looked down at Lucas, who, a fair bit shorter than Tiberius, also seemed a few years younger. He eyed the boy's red bandanna which tied back his black hair. He didn't look much like a scientist, but it seemed like he knew the aide. "You work here?" Then, as he finished speaking, Tiberius felt another tug on his pant leg. Shifting his gaze, he saw it was still Larvitar, pointing to his mouth in hunger. "Oh, also, you have any rocks around here nobody cares about? My Larvitar's hungry."

"Well I don't know." replied Lucas, "I'm sure we have some excess rocks over at the ranch. Probably around the ground and rock type habitat." the boy walked past the three in front of him and motioned for the trainer and his Larvitar to follow.
"Seeing as you have your own pokemon already, we can go ahead of the group. I know how pokemon like Larvitar can get when they're hungry. Especially young ones." Lucas peered past the young man at Daniel with a look of authority.
"We're going an ahead. It looks like the group is getting restless. Perhaps you should get them moving, too."
The aide shot a slightly perturbed look at Lucas. Who was he to order him around? Oh yeah. The boss' son. With a sigh, Daniel turned and waved the clipboard he carried with him at full arm's length.
"Everyone follow me! It's time to head to the ranch to catch your first pokemon!" he shouted in an attempt to catch everyone's attention.
Lucas turned back to the newcomer and smirked.
"And yes, I guess you could say I work here. My godfather owns the place."
-----
Amanda was about to return the greeting the other girl gave her when she caught sight of the aide leading the group waving his arm and shouting. Barely able to contain herself, she jumped up and shrieked in excitement.
"Yes! We're going! I can't wait!" Amanda nearly shouted into Rina's face. She then realized what she was doing and stood still for a moment. Looking at Rina sheepishly, she continued, "Sorry... I -- I can be a bit jumpy. It's nice to meet you."
Amanda held out a hand for Rina to shake, slightly embarrassed by her actions.

And he was.... completely ignored. Yup, completely ignored. Wow it was just like home already. He twisted his mouth slightly, turning it into a slight frown, but ultimately just gave it up. It wasn't going to get him anywhere, it never did. At the very least it seemed that they were moving again, where he can get his pokemon. His father said he sent it ahead, just so he'd HAVE to come here and HAVE to mingle with these other trainers because his father was an evil jerk. Still it wasn't making him more open to the world, or whatever his father's crazy intentions were, in fact all it was doing is giving him a headache. So many people, so many voices, so much annoyances, he didn't like dealing with people.
He rubbed his temple lightly, but stayed quiet, he wasn't about to talk unless he caught on fire or something... which could happen now that he thought of it. Traditionally in the other regions, new trainers were to choose from a fire type, water type, and grass type. Apparently this professor did things differently, and let people just choose what they want from a ranch type thing. Sounds like a cluster of crazy that was hard to navigate, this aide was probably overworked and underpaid. Not to mention most likely under appreciated.
So Edgar did just what he was asked to, follow the aide that is, since that's what was asked. Everyone else seemed too... busy? Busy might not be the right word, but it was by no means a wrong one. Everyone was busy all the time.

The excitable girl really had it out for Rina's eardrums. [orange]"Good luck with catching your Pokemon, Ms..."[/orange] she shook the girl's hand, still waiting for a name.
Rina followed the guide onto the ranch, taking in the sight of the artificial habitat created for Pokemon. She kept an eye on the excited girl, waiting to see what her new friend would be able to catch. [orange]"You can do it!"[/orange] she encouraged the group, raising her hand in a cheer.

Sin quickly followed behind the group as he heard the aid telling them they would be getting their first pokemon soon. He was getting nervous and excited at the same time. It was almost time for him to get his first pokemon, he couldn't wait!
He slowly walked up next to a white haired boy and looked over to him and smiled a bit. Sin thought it was funny that this boy had white hair and he had jet black hair. He then noticed the boy had dark blue eyes while he had red. Strange, Sin shrugged it off and figured he might as well make one friend so he decided to talk to him.
"Hello...," He timidly said with a smile. "My name is Sin Grim but I guess you can call me Will after my middle name," Sin said. He hoped that this boy would become his friend seeing as traveling alone could be boring.

Athos walked away from his small embarassing moment. Now that they were going to get the Pokemon, he realised he hadn't put any real thought into what pokemon he shold get. Hell, h hadn't even thought about what type. Suppose he just tryto catch any type that came his way? Then Athos got a much better idea, he could ask his broher. He flipped open his PokeNav, and found the number. His brother being a Pokemon champion, he'd know what to do right?
"Hello," his brother said answering the phone. His brother had always managed to be happy, and Athos felt less nervous about how he'd do catching the pokemon now that he could talk to William, his brother. "Hey Willy it's me." He heard his brother chuckle, "Me being 'Thos I'm guessing? How's it goin man? What Pokemon did you get?" Athos responded, "I haven't caught one yet, I was wondering if could get your advice on which to catch."
His brother was quiet for a second, but then said, "Well, my first starter was Charmander. That's one thing I think that set me above, Abby and Olive. They got theirs from Johto, and stayed there. But anyway, I got Charmander, or rather Charmander got me. That guy loved me. I couldn't bring myself to make him stay in his ball, which I think made him like me even more. He was still my only Pokemon when I fought Koga. Surprisengly we one our first time, but you know it took us some time to reach there so we had some experience. Honestly it was difficult when I fought at Cerulean city, but I had other Pokemon. I don't know anything about Dias, but I think you should find a type of Pokemon that fits your personality, like fire fit mine. For you that would be----" his brother got cut off. Great.
Athos put up his Pokenav. He was alone but the group was moving. He walked up to a lonely looking guy with white hair (Edgar), "Hey, know what Pokemon you're getting?"
