((OOC: I saw no rule saying no 1st person RP.. tell me if i cant))
For almost two years I've traveled the world. But for the past few months I've been really lost. I've traveled with several different groups, which have all gone in different directions. Three times I've been rescued from certain death while running from wild animals. I have no clue where these men have led me. The grass is still green, and the sky is still blue, but the people all look different. The old customs I had learned have all disappeared, and many new ones are rather strange. I don't know where I am.. all I know is that I'm very far away from my home.

Nearly two years had passed since I had slept in a comfortable bed, but the feeling of a bed had hardly changed at all. The same scratchy sheets that make you itch all night which was almost exactly the same as it had been two years ago when I was sleeping in my own home. Only the scars I bear show how much has really changed. Two years ago, I lived in a nice home with my "father" but he is no longer alive and now I live alone, wherever i can find a place to lie down becomes my bed. By looking at me, there is not a sign of my past. Yet my past is still there, hidden away in all my forgotten memories. I was there, in a tavern called the "Laughing Dagger" sleeping in the cheapest room, eating the cheapest foods. "Up! Get Up! Now! I woke with a start. The tavern's owner, Frank Houston, was awakening all the sleeping customers. You payed for one night! You did not pay to stay into the day! I sighed, today was going to be a long day.

Up! he shouted. I heard him walking toward another guests door repeating the same phrase over and over to each of them. I rolled onto my back trying to remember the dream I was having, there had been a white crow in it. He had seen many similar dreams before. Frank was back outside the door. Are you up yet? He demanded. "Nearly" I replied. Well get a move on! I have guests coming in all times of the day and i cannot give them enough rooms! I sigh again. A very long day.
I walked out of the room after gathering my tools and weapon into my pack. Frank pulled me into a corner Now, I'm warning you he said. Any funny buisness in the town today and I will have the guards on you in an instant No need to worry, i mean no trouble. I am just passing through But Frank obviously did not believe him. No one would. He was an outsider in this small village, wherever it is...

I sat down in front of the local church half, where, hidden in the shadow of the overhanging balcony, I could watch the locals go about their daily buissness. I heard a voice coming from the street, perhaps a couple yards away. You know that brown-haired man who was staying in the Laughing Dagger? I jumped up and got a bit closer, out of sight of course. I think he's a bandit! He's probably come to take our money! I couldnt believe my ears! Me? A Bandit?! Oh, dear, don't talk such nonsense! But Mo-oom he had a big lance with him! He brought a weapon! The mother became suddenly stern.I forbid you to bother him. No, don't you dare. Alright, alright! Keep your hair on! It was made clear many people in this village did not like visitors... But where am I? And where else can I go?

It had been a warm evening, the sun setting early for the season. Streams of red and yellow flowed into the darkening blue of nightfall. The fields of corn rustled, swaying to the slight breeze in the air. I walked out of the building towards the Laughing Dagger. I set some coin on the table before heading to a room, hoping Frank would notice it before another patron comes along and picks it up. I did not suspect they would, though, I have not been here long. A soft knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. Outside stood a rather well aged man in his twenties. I think he is a beggar; the armour he wore is dented and had seen heavy use. The pieces had seen multiple fractures and lost its shine years ago. Hello, do you need something or are you just going to stand there like an idiot?

The name is Gedric, Gedric Garrs, you may call me 'Sir Garrs' as annoyed as I was, I became slightly more interested in this person when I heard the name Sir Garrs. Now, do not by any means think this strange, or take me as a loon, but in a matter of six months i plan to take many kingdoms as my own, As many have done in the past.. to do this I need a good and hearty squire. You seem like the best man around. As squire of the most humble and fabulous Sir Garrs I will give you a kingdom or two of your own. I might even give you more than i am promising! I rather doubted this man was either a knight, or for that matter even able to fight a man, but I need to find a way to another town, perhaps one that offers more than wheat and ale to its visitors, and I would have no luck doing so without the help... of a less directionally impaired person. Sure. I can be that squire... Fabulous! We leave in ten minutes! Wh-What!? We should leave in the morning! Do you not sleep at night?
