The maroon haired, green eyed young man from Caelin strode along the dirt path, headed out of the city of Caelin and to the place where he grew up just on the edge of Caelin's land. It had been a while since he'd seen his mother and two sisters. He left the farm well over a year ago, maybe longer. He couldn't remember. Time had gone by so quickly since he departed that things had blurred together somewhat. The only clear things that rang out in his mind were the times with that first group of adventurers he met.
His injuries from their encounters had left more than just mental memories for him. He had burn scars on his left leg from when Aaron had gotten overzealous with his Fire spell in the forests against those wolves the first time they appeared. He couldn't help but smile when he remembered the crazy people he'd met in that group. Still, almost all of them had left some kind of lasting impression on him. It was because of this that he wanted to find them again. Even though he'd not seen them for quite some time, Selk Mar considered those people to be his second family of sorts.
For now he would see his family. As he approached the door to his old home he could smell freshly cooked chicken pot pie coming from his home. He opened the door like he always did when he used to live there and stepped inside. The metal of his armor clanged against itself every step he took. No sooner had he turned around from closing the door than his two sisters and his mother all three practically tackled him with hugs.
