I'm making a set of MtG cards based around our story here. People are free to suggest ideas for cards. Especially players who actually know how the game works. Lol
I'll take ideas, and refit them to fit my ideas for the set better. Some ideas are: Bandits, knights, pegasus knights, and dragons archers. And monsters. Yes Nayru. I will make some baels, even though we haven't seen any here.
Pegasus knights would have flying, Also more expensive ones could be difficult to target with hostile spell and enchantment cards. Naturally, there are a fair amount of other useful effects to be added.
Knights and soldiers could have a variety of effects, and synergize well with each other. Archers might count as soldiers, but would have alot of effects that that are good on flyers, and don't require them to actually "attack" to be useful.
Dragons would actually be powerful for their prices.
Bandits would be cheap, and higher ones would steal effects.
Mages would probably play alot like mages play in current sets.
Won't be able to make everyone's character into a unique card, but I could theme some of the non uniques after existing chars, and add a quote from the base char as flavor text. I'll put some examples up once I get enough.
Any takers?

Yaen and Wein's cards should complement each other. As in ability wise, not actually "Hey, you're cool."

How about adventurers, too? Not every character here is a knight or soldier.
Also, if you can make double-sided cards then that would be neat. Like, for instance, Young Farlus flips over to Iron Soul Rangers when an Oppressive Baron card is played or something. Just an example, of course.
And on that note, would NPCs and random, non-named cards be included? Like "Etrurian Priest" or "Halford Jaldniric".
Oh! And instead of normal lands we could have Western Isles for Island, Ilia for Mountain, Bern for Forest, Sacae for Plains, and I don't know what Swamp would be.

My first set of cards will have 10-15 mythic rare creatures, 1-15 mythic rare artifact/enchantment/land cards 20-25 rare creatures, 2-20 rare noncreature cards, 30-45 uncommon creatures, 10-25 uncommon noncreature cards, 50-75 common creatures, 25-40 common noncreatures, and some tokens. 148 minimum, not counting tokens, and basic land. 250 maxish? Anyways, I'm trying to keep from adding too many unique classes, so it is playable with the real cards. A fair amount will probably be flip cards, as it fits the theme of growth and change that the forum has. I'm establishing one unique class for each country. Pegasus Knights, Wyvern Riders, Nomads, ...ehh... Not sure for Lycia or Etruria. Pirates already exist, I think. Nabata and the Isles can use standard classes perfectly well. Countries of origin will come into play. An Ilian Captain would buff pegasus knights, falcoknights, and cards with Ilian in their name which you control. Also, freeroamer knights, soldiers, mercenaries, mages, etc you control. Freeroamers gain buffs and other country effects, but would be weaker overall for comparable prices. Pegasus knights add to the cost of opponents' spells that target them, nomads in general have horse based abilities as well as archery, some having plainswalk, making them unblockable if the opponent uses white lands. Wyverns would probably devour things, adding to strength, gaining life, etc. Dragons would actually be strong, unlike most real dragon cards. Even if bishops already exist, Etruria could have some good ones. Red black and blue themed, I'd imagine. That's direct damage, curses, hexes, and other nasty things, and card drawing/limiting what your opponent can actually do for those ignorant on color typecasts.... Lycia would probably have a blend of alot of things, and alot of enchantments that would force multiple cards to synergize, even when that would otherwise be odd.... Those Lycians and their League. Special lands should be fun to work with. I've got about 25 pics for basic land already... Did that rant answer any questions, Gray? Lol lost track of what you asked in that mess. Glad to see someone is taking an interest and coming up with ideas, Aer. Thanks. Already got a Clair card figured though. Lol

Well Adventurer is already a class in the game. I don't think it'll conflict with anything. I was just thinking it might get a bit odd if everyone not a mage or knight was a soldier. Cleric is also a class from the official game which could be used for clerics and priests. As long as Grayson's nomad card has Flanking I'm good.

So where's Richter, the White Lion?
EDIT: Should be Winter Lion, all things being said.
EDIT EDIT: Only reason I'm asking and not making is because I don't like making my own stuff =P

No, no, I like it. It's better without the picture.
