I really enjoyed blakc and white and I was a little dissapointed that black and white 2 was the next game, I was hoping for something else. None the less I'm somewhat excited right now but not much is known. Either way I don't really know why I'm making an opinion, I'll end up buying it anyway... Only problem is I HATE KYUREM.
ALOT.

Two words: World Tournament
I'm buying this game for that reason alone, everything else is a bonus.

N is probably going to show up. That is wonderful beyond words.
I'm looking forward to it; it's the first direct sequel Pokemon has had since XD Gale of Darkness, if I remember right. That should make it interesting.
Plus, Cheren is a Gym Leader. Wearing a goofy-looking tie. I'm kinda hoping someone thinks he's a wimp and tries to have him beat up...

G/S was the best pokemon sequal ever. Finding Red in that cave then battling him was the greatest thing ever in the Pokemon universe. I'd buy B/W2 in a heartbeat if they revert to R/S battle style, imo changin the atk and sp atk in P/D was the dumbest thing ever.

The physical/special split is my best friend, it made so many pokemon I love better.
For Aeros' information, N IS in the game and can be battled once a day (Or at least, you can battle him once)
I agree with you Hal, I was blown away when I found Red in my Crystal version, and then I was sad when he stomped me. The chance to re-battle every gym leader and champion is my primary motivation for buying this game.

The atk/so STK split made breeding and choosing move sets a large pain in the ass. It almost ruined my Slaking if they didn't add in shadow claw.

I guess that would suck if you battled competitively before gen 4...I didn't start until gen 5, so I had no old teams to hold on to.

I saw videos of hacks and saw the Red battle, is he really going to come back?

From what I hear, he's coming back as part of the "World Tournament" feature, Labelle. It'll also feature just about every OTHER major trainer from the main series, such as Stephen Stone and Cynthia.

So does anyone else have either of these yet? Because I have Black 2.

I want it but don't know if I want to throw down the money for it.
The sole reason I want it so I can battle red again.

Alright, I have played Black 2 and beaten it fairly throughly. As expected, Pokemon World Tournament was amazing, yet challenging. The pokemon I raised to beat the story didn't stand a chance against PWT, I had to bring in breeder pokemon to take on the gym leaders. I also had to challenge the champion's tournament multiple times before I was able to beat it...Red's Blastoise is pure evil.
As far as a mono-typing challenge goes: I would take water in a heartbeat.

Do you have to beat all of the type specialties before you can get into the champion's tournament? I have all the tournaments beat except for those and the mix masters. I even used my all fighting team for all of them.
