Guts: Huh. That reminds me of my childhood. See, it was after my first battle, I was only about eight at the time, my step father sold me for the night to this big black guy named Donovan. I tried to fight him off, but he was too powerful for me. And you know who came just in the nick of time with a sword and a blanket and taught me to believe in myself?
Caska: Was it Jesus?
Guts: NOBODY![/b]
Caska: Oh.. So you got...
Guts: Yeah.
Caska: Right in the...
Guts: Yeah.
Caska: ....Ouch.
Guts: Yeah.[/b] So you can take your personal feelings of victimhood and shove them right up your ass. I guarantee you it's a lot better than what happened to mine. -Berserk Abridged, quite possibly the single funniest moment in the whole dang show.

Regal Bryant: W... where am I? Lloyd Irving: You're our prisoner. Don't try anything funny. Regal Bryant: I like to think that I'm smart enough not to start trouble when I don't understand the situation.
Zelos Wilder: No one stands a chance against the great Zelos! Lloyd Irving: You mean no one can stand you, right? Zelos Wilder: Lloyd, that was seriously harsh, man
[Lloyd and Kratos thrust their swords into Kvar's stomach] Kvar: Kratos... you pathetic, inferior being! Kratos Aurion: Feel the pain... [Kratos slashes Kvar] Kratos Aurion: ...of those inferior beings... [Kratos slashs Kvar again and Kvar falls to the floor] Kratos Aurion: ...as you burn in hell! [Kvar dies]
Estellise Sidos Heurassein: Our weapons are, Love! Yuri Lowell: Justice! Raven: [says it in a sexual harassment perspective] "Sexuality"! Estellise Sidos Heurassein: Would you stop!
Yuri Lowell: Our weapons are... Karol Capel: Bravery! Raven: Youth! Judith: Modesty! Yuri Lowell: Like any of you have those...
Yuri:"I think there are some things that you have to do, even if they're a crime. Someone has to do them, even if it means taking the blame."
Don: "So... who's gonna be my second?" [pause] Yuri: "...It would be my honor." Don: "Guess yer stuck doin' a job nobody much wants." Yuri: "You too." Don: "Heh. No kidding. Yuri. I was lookin' forward to watchin' ya go places. I'll make sure to save you a spot in hell." Yuri: "I don't think they'd let me into the hell you're going to." Don: "Hah. I won't forget that attitude, boy." Yuri: "And I won't forget your resolve, Don Whitehorse."
Yuri: "You said we needed to talk?" Flynn: "Tell me… Why did you kill Cumore? You know it's not our place to pass sentence on the crimes of others. He was to be punished in accordance with the laws!" Yuri: "And just what laws do you think would have punished him?! The same laws that failed to punish Ragou? Give me a break." Flynn: "Yuri, you..." Yuri: "The laws have always been the tools of whoever happens to hold all the chips." Flynn: "Just saying that doesn't make it right for individuals to judge right from wrong, or for you to operate your own private court of law! If the laws are at fault, then fixing those laws comes first. It's for that very reason that I'm still with the Imperial Knights!" Yuri: "But you can't deny that lives were saved because those bastards were put down. you'd rather tell those people, 'Sorry you have to die today. I promise we'll change things soon'?" Flynn: "That's not what I'm saying at all!" Yuri: "They're out there, you know. People so bad they'll just go on hurting others. What can the average person do but be victimized by people like that? You know it was the same way with our people in the lower quarter." Flynn: "Even so, Yuri, what you're doing isn't right. Do you intend to rain your justice down on all the villains of the world? That's the behavior of a common criminal." Yuri: "I recognize it for what it is, and I've made my choices. Murder is a crime." Flynn: "And even knowing that, you intend to dirty your hands." Yuri: "Intend to? I already have." Flynn: "So this is the path you've chosen." Yuri: "Don't make me repeat myself."
Yea yea I went all ToS and ToV here.

A Canadian speaks out concerning Amercia, June 5, 1973. The link. For those who don't trust links (and in case the link ever breaks): "LET'S BE PERSONAL" Broadcast June 5, 1973 CFRB, Toronto, Ontario Topic: "The Americans" The United States dollar took another pounding on German, French and British exchanges this morning, hitting the lowest point ever known in West Germany. It has declined there by 41% since 1971 and this Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least-appreciated people in all the world. As long as sixty years ago, when I first started to read newspapers, I read of floods on the Yellow River and the Yangtze. Well, Who rushed in with men and money to help? The Americans did, that's who. They have helped control floods on the Nile, the Amazon, the Ganges and the Niger. Today, the rich bottom land of the Mississippi is under water and no foreign land has sent a dollar to help. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy, were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of those countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States. When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. And I was there. I saw that. When distant cities are hit by earthquake, it is the United States that hurries into help... Managua Nicaragua is one of the most recent examples. So far this spring, 59 American communities have been flattened by tornadoes. Nobody has helped. The Marshall Plan... the Truman Policy... all pumped billions upon billions of dollars into discouraged countries. And now, newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent war-mongering Americans. Now, I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplanes. Come on... let's hear it! Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tristar or the Douglas 10? If so, why don't they fly them? Why do all international lines except Russia fly American planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or a woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy and you find men on the moon, not once, but several times ... and safely home again. You talk about scandals and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even the draft dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are right here on our streets in Toronto, most of them... unless they are breaking Canadian laws... are getting American dollars from Ma and Pa at home to spend here. When the Americans get out of this bind... as they will... who could blame them if they said 'the hell with the rest of the world'. Let someone else buy the bonds, let someone else build or repair foreign dams or design foreign buildings that won't shake apart in earthquakes. When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both of them are still broke. I can name to you 5,000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name to me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake. Our neighbours have faced it alone and I am one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their noses at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of these. But there are many smug, self-righteous Canadians. And finally, the American Red Cross was told at its 48th Annual meeting in New Orleans this morning that it was broke. This year's disasters... with the year less than half-over... has taken it all and nobody... but nobody... has helped. ORIGINAL SCRIPT AND AUDIO COURTESY STANDARD BROADCASTING CORPORATION LTD. I hope I don't offend any Canadians here, but every time I have visited Canada (Mostly near Toronto, and it is a big country, so this is a localized observation.) I have found them to be amazingly racist against Americans. Being a White Male, I wasn't ever expecting to be on this side of racism in this hemisphere, but here we are.
I wanted to keep this serious, but I think I'll just be the troll. It's what I do best.

To be fair, the French were total bros around the second half-ish of the War of 1812 in particular; if it wasn't for them we prrrrobably woulda been pretty screwed.

They were bros because they wanted to screw over England. America was a means to an end.

But anyways, as a Canadian, its much the other way I can tell you, from what I've heard when travelling to America If it's not something condescending, it's ignorance, and usually ends up with "Well, our army is bigger, and we can wipe 'Canada off the map/take it over,' at any time." Can't believe how much I've heard THAT before. Also, Toronto is just horrible, its like Detroit, or maybe New Jersey.
