“The hell man”, shouted Boutorega with frustration. It seemed that the universe was out against him. His fight with old saint nick was not going to happen. Roughly Butorega threw the young novice off him. “Watch where you are flying”, he shouted as he looked at the hooded lad. His attention however was soon grabbed by an incoming elf with a club.
The elf swung and Butorega dodged. The blow barely missed. Butorega countered with an attack of his own, but the elf blocked with its sturdy wooden club. “Smart little devil”, spoke Butorega.

"Here I come to save the day!" A long figure atop a silver steed came gallivanting into view from what appeared to be quite a bit away. Of course long distance didn't mean squat to the Magical Knight, as he held his staff aloft as if he was about to cast a spell. "C'mon demon, let's go fight some demons." He said with a smirk as he pointed the staff forward, far longer away then anyone should be able to cast a blast of pure lightning erupted from the snowy sky, striking one of those little gremlin elf things with the righteous wrath of the heavens themselves. It was a weaker one, that was trying to get away due to its injuries to recuperate, not anymore it wasn't. Best part, Elias was way way way too far away for it to even dream of countering.
Of course that wasn't the real addition to this little free-for-all jamboree. That was just his opening move. There were elves everywhere, which he probably should try to fight or something but there was plenty of people doing that now. So he hurried past and around them, riding atop his steed Demon made that easier. Few men could outpace a horse at full gallop, less so one as quick as Demon. He rode out of the burning city of Ostia for crying sakes, trying to avoid some nasties was a deal less painful than the jets of lava. He was homing in on one special person in particular, he could see her from a distance and was slightly hurt she went on ahead without him and everything. He thought they were buddies, amigos, friends, and all that good and slightly mushy stuff.
"Mana!" He shouted as he drew near, pulling on his reins to get his charging stallion to slow down as he pulled up beside her. He was about to give her a piece of his mind, about how dangerous it was to leave someone as skilled and incredible and talented and handsome as Elias behind, but his playful grin was quickly replaced by that of worry. "You're hurt." He muttered but then grinned again. "I'll take care of that, stay still." He quickly switched out his holy maiden staff for his mending one, it was a foul wound but not one that needed a miracle to cure he was more than capable of doing it with just his mend staff. Even if it'd take a little bit longer.
He held the staff aloft and a gentle healing light covered the girl, finding her wounds and sealing them up as if they never existed in the first place. The staff was powered by Elias' magical strength, which was by no means small, so it healed her back to normal and uninjured in a single go. "You alright?" He looked around a bit concerned, there was a lot of... er... blood. It made him a bit queasy, he didn't like blood. Still, it wasn't a good sign. "Is there anyone else that really needs some healing Mana? I just got here."

With Lisa's aid, Faravinn was back in the fray, even if blood was dripping down the sides of his face, flowing from bis now demolished ears, a testament to the cruel hostility of the little elves. Emboldened by Lisa's words, Faravinn, however, was more confident, in fact, more so than was probably healthy considering his current state of health. Holes in his rusty helmet, two broken lances and huge gashes all over his body. In short, Faravinn should probably have ran and taken Elias's offer for a healing. But not now...
With a sudden burst of total badassery, Faravinn charged with his lance, wailing like a dying whale, imagining himself to have a ferocious battle cry. Well, it was scary, but not in the way he had intended. Gripping the bloody lance that Lisa had lended him, he caught two elves unawares, impaling them on the end of his spear. Dragging his spear out to meet a third, he parried the elve's sword with a parry by bis lance, and proceeded to disembowel the poor thing. With bis adrenaline pumping, his muscles shaking and his heart racing, Faravinn finally had managed to kill something without getting hurt! So much for his reputation as "holy meatshield"!
"Hah!" He boasted. "See how you like me now elves!", he roared in challenge, twirling his lance.
It was then when two elves grbbed his by the legs, and tumbled, taking him down like a massive AT-AT. Collapsing into the snow, he screamed, as the elves began to crawl on his back and lay waste to his single moment of glory. Their malicious eyes glowing in the snow, they finished the job, and completely took off his left ear, and threw it smack into the center of the fighters.
"FINE. TAKE IT!" he wailed "I NEVER USED THAT EAR ANYWAYS."

The reindeer knew it couldn't fend off the wyvern and it's rider so it went to even the odds. Jumping away from Sol it ran through the air towards it's friend, tearing away from the harness freeing it. Sol got to his feet and stayed grounded long enough for Hal to climb up top of him, the two took to the skies as quickly as possible but both the reindeer began to catch up quickly. Sol quickly dove towards them, Hal holding on for dear life thrusting his lance towards them only two miss. The sky battle quickly turned into a mess, reindeer circling around trying to attack Sol from different sides, Sol trying to take a bite out of crime a reindeer, Sol lashing his tail around trying to knock one out of the sky, Hal trying to land a blow, everybody was failing miserably at first. Then one of the reindeer got a hold of the fleshy flap of Sol's wing, Hal quickly turned to attempt to stab the beast in the eye but missed. While that was going on the other beast had flown in gripping onto Sol's neck in it's massive jaw, Hal was thrown off the now dead wyvern falling rapidly towards the ground below.

Lynessa knew it would be very dangerous but she had to do this. The dragon came to answer the invitation, a challenge for mortals from a mysterious being. Even the dragon woman with her vast knowledge didn't know such creature exist, he just appeared from nowhere. There was one thing she understood about him, that he was a danger for this world and especially her family. The Satan Claws carried death scent with him, so potent that it could poison her lungs.
Watching the arena and the fighting from above, Lynessa saw that many brave warriors had gathered to slay the demonic creature, betting their lives in line for different reasons. At least she would have allies to do this battle, a lone dragon wouldn't be enough to stop Satan Claws. The ice dragon had drawn power from her stone which caused some changes in her appearance. Most of the skin under those clothes was protected by blue thick scales, her eyes changed into more reptilian, a pair of beautiful wings and a long tail grew from her back, this was her half-dragon form. The reason she was in this form was too approach the arena without making Satan Claws notice her, a dragon coming from the sky would attract too much attention.
Lynessa didn't waste time when she saw an ally in danger. The wyvern rider fell from his wyvern as the wyvern itself took fericious attacks from two flying monster. The ice dragon flew toward the falling man to save him, she knew those hard ground would probably kill him instantly and she wouldn't allow that. She quickly got below him and opened her arms as she matched the timing. Hal would feel the air become cold when he landed on her arms, which gently held his thigh and his back each. "Close...I thought I would fail..." she muttered, staring at him. "Are you injured?" she asked.

Lisa would look up to the sky as she heard heavy wings beating. A wyvern was now slain by two ugly creatures. She held her breath as the rider was thrown off it, free falling to the ground. Feeling somewhat helpless, she thought he would be ended there. But, a rare sight was seen as a halfing caught the knight. Looking around, she would spot a Javelin laying beside a dead elf. Walking over to it, she would kick it up and grab the shaft. Looking at the creatures as they were coming after Manakete, she would aim the tip ahead of one of the reindeer. "Steady, steady, Aim....aaaand.....Throw!"
She'd throw the Javelin as hard as she could. Letting it fly through the air. It would make contact with one of the foul beasts, but it was now looking at her. It's horns were now down, it charged in after her. "Uh oh...this isn't good." Picking her Iron lance back up, she would have to time this just right. It was getting closer to her. The tip was aimed right for it's head. She'd lung the lance into it's thick skull and attempt to avoid getting hit. But to her dismay, one of the antler's struck her back and sent her flying a few feet off the ground and landing hard. She'd let out a loud scream of pain as her armor was now pierced.

This was it, the end of the line for Hal. His goal was to help ensure the dangers presented by this man wouldn't progress to his home, with Sol gone and his free fall he was surely going to die in this arena and fail to protect his family. He had closed his eyes one last time, his mind began to bring up images from his memory of his family and Elesia. Only if he had the chance to say his good-byes to everybody one last time, then it had felt like somebody, or something, had caught him. Slowly opening his eyes he saw he was now in the arms of a woman in the air with beautiful wings, did he die and this was an angel carrying him to the heaven? He had to die in the fall and this was an angel, people aren't able to fly let alone have wings, just the thought alone had almost paralyzed Hal's entire body . "Am...Am I...d..de..dead?"

“Don’t worry I got him”, shouted Orcleous as he rushed in with his sword. He struck the elf in the center of its chest while its club was still impaled on Butorega’s axe. The elf quickly toppled over and vanished into the same light that it appeared in.
“Thanks for the help”, spoke Orcleous as he turned to Butorega. “Wait hold on a second have we not met before”, spoke the lad. He was sure he had seen him somewhere before, but could not put his finger on it.

His technique was bad and his strikes were easily readable. The boy was obviously lacking in formal training. None the less he was here and he was fighting. At the very least that meant something. “Listen kido”, spoke Butorega as he attended to the wound on his arm. “Now is not the time to be reminiscing on the past. This is a battlefield. You need to keep your eyes open at all time.” As Butorega spoke one of the little devils was making its way behind him.

"You are late, Eli!" Mana seemed relieved to see a familiar face in this chaos, it somehow reassured her. He came in the right time. Elias wasn't only an extraordinary mage, he could use some healing spell he had learned recently. In fact, his healing might be as good as his other magics. The Sacaen girl shut her eyes as she enjoyed the warm light touching and covering her body. Getting healed by spell was always pleasant. Her rough breath became lighter and the pain gradually disappeared, this healing wouldn't make her go back to full power but at least she would be close to her best condition. She rubbed her arm, which muscles still felt a little tense, and said, "You are truly a great hero, Mr Crimson Mage. You come at the right time. And yeah, I am alright, a little tired maybe. I had been in worse situation than just this. Don't worry about me" Mana gave him a friendly tap on his arm. She then moved to behind him before leaning her back against him, this made them able to protect each other's back. "Heh, now that you are here I feel ready to face anything. I guess that what means having a partner, no?" Now if only Wyatt was here, she hoped.
"And by the way, that soldier with blue uniform might need some of your magic. I don't want him losing that ear forever, you know..." she replied to his question, slightly chuckling. But as soon as she finished laughing the swordswoman rushed to help Faravinn. Her kick met one of the two elves right in the stomach which practically threw him away. The other elf managed to dodge her sword thrust by leaping back to a safe distance. She tried to pursue with another attacks but they failed to hit the target. Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to leave the earless soldier too far so she stepped back and stood next to Faravinn while still keeping eye on the elves.
"Are you okay?" she asked.

His eyes were turned to the sky as Mana began to talk, not that she wasn't interesting or anything but there was like crazy crap happening up there. With like dragons, and flying elk, and other such nonsense. That wyvern got supremely skewered by whatever in hades that thing was, and some kid just began to freefall a billion trillion miles. He was about to move when he say something just snatch him right out of the air. Well that's fortunate, since Elias was about to use his zip zop zoobity bop powers to save that falling kid. Some dragon lady did it instead, so that's for the best because now he can zip zop somebody else later instead. The thing you must understand is that Elias can only zip zop once a day, any more and it's more like flip flap floobity flop. No one wants to see that.
He looked back at Mana to see her running away and at something and it reminded him 'field of untold misery and suffering with blood soaking into the earth and the entrails of both men and best littering the ground like potpourri' thing that was currently happening. So he urged his steed to be urged in that direction, said steed was quite compliant. Not even fighting with him about it, it was truly a whatever holiday might be celebrated at this time of year miracle. As he neared wherever Mana was headed, he let loose a elfire from his hands, a large fireball flying through the air and slamming into one of the little buggers next to that kid with the spear. There wasn't much heat to the spell, he focused it all on concussive force knocking the small creature several feet away. Probably didn't hurt that much, but it knocked it far enough away that it bought a little bit of time for him to work his magic. Both figuratively and literally.
"You're the kid with no ear, right?" He looked at the kid with no ear, more or less answering the question. Maybe he should speak louder? He was probably hard of hearing what with the whole missing an ear thing. He was sort of impressed he was just a pile of screaming, his experience with removed body parts was that it HURT like A LOT. Just think about someone pulling on your ear, that hurts yeah? Now they don't stop and pull harder and harder until it rips right off. Probably not a pleasant experience, sends a chill right down Elias' spine it does. "Mana, keep them off us for a second!" He called to the feisty swordswoman who was already doing just that it seems.
"Hey man, I can totally fix that. Just hold your ear up to your gaping bloody ear hole, and I should be able to reattach it with my magic." He said, looking around. "Where's your ear, by the way?" He looked at the small group of elves nearby, one of which was munching on some cookie. With red frosting or filling or som- that's an ear. Well then, he probably wasn't going to eat ever again ever. "You THREW your EAR!? What is wrong with you!? You only get two of those man!"
"Whatever, you get an earhole on the side of your face forever then." He held up his staff and healed the wounds on the soldier fellow. While losing a body part is kinda y'know, big, it was just his ear. Which meant the wound itself wasn't too deep or dire or gaping. So his mend staff mended the flesh together as it knit in a mostly gruesome display of skin and meat filling up the gaps where it had been ripped off his face. It probably healed any other wounds he had gotten as well, another satisfied customer no doubt.

Lynessa understood that the guy in her arms had just gotten through one of the most terrifying experiences in his life. Falling from this height wouldn't be a common thing for a human, after all. She smiled gently and sighed as she answered his question. "You don't. I am sorry for your wyvern, though." She then looked around and noticed that one of the demon beasts had found a young woman as its next meal, hopefully she would survive. The ice dragon watched a demon reindeer coming with a crazy dive toward her which she barely dodged. Of course she didn't forget to give the naughty animal a lash with her tail when it passed her. Not deadly, but quite painful.
"That woman is hurt..." she thought. Humans had a nice magic that healed wound and erased pain but the dragon doubted the woman would get it before the reindeer slaughter her. She decided to risk leaving the other reindeer to help the young woman. "Forgive me, young man. It's gonna be tough." That was the only warning Hal got before he would realize Lynessa was going to dive at full speed. They pierce the air like a bullet as the dragon went to assist Lisa. The landing was not a graceful one but she managed to stop at the right time before they hit the ground. Lynessa then quickly let out a loud roar to divert the reindeer's attention to her, hoping it would save Lisa or buy her enough time to run. Unfortunately, she might not only take its attention but also a couple of evil elves, and maybe even more. "I guess I shouldn't have done that...Hey, can you still fight, young man? I will need your help soon," she said to Hal.

As the reindeer was coming back around now on the ground for her, it was stopped by a mighty roar. It's attention was taken off Lisa for a few moments to study what caused it. Crawling away, her hand would search for a weapon until she felt an old iron lance in her hands finally. Using it to stand, the recruit turned to face the reindeer since it's eyes now locked onto lisa again. A roar is one thing, but having a lance sticking out of it's head was a total other story.
Lowering it's head, it would charge right towards lisa again. Holding the lance, she had to time this even more better then last time. It was now meer feet away, she would fall to her knees, lifting the lance up and bending her body backwards to miss the oncoming attack. WIth both hands on the lance, she had it lifted up high enough for it to punch into the demonic reindeer's chest making it flip over her. Lisa couldn't believe that she had pulled it off watching the body of the massive creature crashing down behind her on it's back.
Laughing a bit, she'd pull the lance out and slowly stand up with more blood coming out of her wounds on her back. Slamming the Lance down, she'd use it as a cane for the moment until she felt that she was a bit better to move. But she'd have to move anyways since the roar brought attention by the little freakish looking elves. Looking up from panting heavily, she'd see a group of elves coming towards herself, the Wyvern rider, and the Manakete. Lifting up one arm, she would say. "Oh come on, really?!? Fine, COME ON!" Lifting the lance, she'd spread open her legs and lowred the tip of the lance down towards their chest level so she could impale them alot easier. But we All know that won't be that easy.

“Mr look out”, spoke Orcleous as he pushed past Butorega and stabbed the little Elf in the chest. For a moment it squirmed, but then it fell over and died. The novice then pulled out his sword and stared at Butorega who seemed more shock the fact that the novice had saved him more than the fact that the creature was behind him.
“Keep your eyes open at all time”, spoke Orcleous to Butorega. The novice enjoyed mocking the brigand a bit. A great frown crossed the brigand’s face a he heard the novice’s words. “None the less”, spoke Orcleous as his eye caught an image from his left flank. The novice mobed and rose his blade as a elf’s incoming sword attempted to cut off his head. Orcleous pushed back against the little monster, but the strength difference was starting to play.
“A little help here”, spoke Orcleous as he struggled against the elf.

Ryuzaki watched intently from the edge of the arena as the bright clanging of blades and roars of battle filled the air. Suddenly, he noticed a recruit almost falling over as one of those wicked little elvish things pushed against him.
Ryuzaki took a brief look around, and, confident that no other demons were coming for him, ran up and stabbed his sword through the offending elf’s neck, twisting his body as he flashed past the red-armored recruit. Using his foot, he pushed the creature into the snow and slid his sword free.
“Are you --” Ryuzaki started, but his question was cut short as a heavy club connected with his right side. Crumpling, Ryuzaki barely managed to dodge another strike. As he scrambled to his feet, backpedaling from the vicious, squealing imp, he noticed the kid he'd just saved standing there watching.
"Come on, kid!" Ryuzaki said, with a touch of urgency in his tone. "This thing is angry!"
