Name: Hero Iris
Class*: Mercenary
Gender: Male
Hair Color: Dark Blue
Eye Color: Grey
Age: 18
Appearance: With long, lustrous hair bending backwards down to the back of his neck, Hero is a well-kept man. Fair in height, he does not look too intimidating or too easy to defeat. His appearance gives away his care-free attitude. He carries his personal sword at his left side and his father's axe on his back (though he cannot yet wield the axe properly).
Clothes: Hero now wears two small, metal shoulder guards. He displays a blue mercenary's shirt, a gold-colored belt, and red pants. Held across his chest and upper back lies a red scarf the same color as his pants. the back almost looks like a short cape of some sorts. There is a gold lining strung along the scarf. Finally, he has a small, circular shield mounted on his left arm. He keeps his sword strapped to his left side and his axe strapped to his lower back.
Born in**: Ylisse (pronounced Iris in Japan)
Story***: Hero's origins are still unknown. Abandoned at a young age, Hero was left outside an Ylissean citizens house. He was left with an axe and a note from his father. "This weapon belongs to the young hero you see before you. Allow him to grow with it in his grasps," it read. The citizen brought the young boy to the Ylissean guard, where he was raised and taught to use a sword. Unnamed until age 5, the Ylissean guard only referred to him as "child." He was later named after what his father referred to him as and the city who raised him. Hero Iris.
Later in life, at age 16, an assassin had entered Ylisse and had hopes of killing the exalt. After successfully infiltrating the courtyard of Ylisstol, the assassin began to seek out the exalt. With good timing, Hero had spotted the assassin and engaged him. Hidden in the shadows the assassin shifted around the courtyard with supernatural celerity. The assassin jumped out, and Hero turned to face him. Taking a seemingly fatal stab wound to the chest, Hero was now close enough to the target. With one fatal swing, the assassin was vanquished and done with.
Receiving great praise and reward from both the exalt and the citizens of Ylisse, Hero left Ylisse to hone his skills and learn the ways of the axe, helping anybody in need along the way.
