"I guess I will see you there? We can take a stroll together. I mean....I would like to talk about arts with you when we are strolling. Those boys usually don't listen and just nod if I talk about it with them..."
"That'd be lovely! I really do enjoy talking with you." And being able to take a stroll with such a lovely woman would be quite nice as we- "No. No, Karen. You don't have time for romance. And besides, she's married and has children," Her mind berated the icy-blue haired woman. Right, right. She really didn't have the time, nor deserved to.
"Hmm....Trent, huh? Would you mind if I come along? I remember I will have to go there soon. It will be more fun if I have some friends in the trip. Well, I can understand if you won't take me with you, though."
"Oh, well certainly not! I wouldn't mind at all! It'd be a pretty nice ride too."
"E-Excuse me, miss.." Karen looked over as she felt a tug on her robes, catching sight of the little girl. The girl told a story of how her brother had gotten wrapped up in a gang, her lip quivering as her voice wavered at times. "You said you were going somewhere, right? Please take me with you! I can hunt, and he taught me how to fight. I'd do anything, and no one in town will give the time of day so far! Please!"
Karen frowned, honestly the thought of another tag along annoyed her slightly, yet at the same time, her better nature still insisted on taking her along as well. It was at this time that the Pegasus rider finally returned, asking her again what she needed.
"Well... I need to travel to Trent, but it looks like this little one needs to as well. Madam Lyn would also like to come. Is that all fine with you?"
