Since everything will be taking place withing this one thread, please refrain from posting until it's your turn to fight. After each fight ends do one post where your character takes their drinks(if your character vomits then you may post during somebody else's fight). Remember, all the NPC are at your character's level(when sober ) so the fight shouldn't be over extremely short, but remember this is a timed even so please don't take too long. Tournament Bracket can be found here: Shmashhing good time... hic!(non-canon)
The pirate speaks,"T' rules be simple mateys, two people fight at a time and t' others get t' play a drinkin' game. For each blow landed, take a drink. Take two drinks if somebody stumbles over. Chug your ale if somebody vomits, in or outside t' arena. You pass out, you're eliminated. T' fight goes until one person yields. Oh, since t' first round will be two sober people you get t' fight with one arm tied behind your aft and wear an eye patch."

[FIGHT 1]
Looks Like I'm up... Wish i could have gotten a few mugs down first, though. The red thief entered the combat area, opposite a wyvern rider whose arm was tied behind her, and one of her eyes covered in a patch. Hello beautiful... I'm Connor, and You?
The rider huffed annoyedly, "Creep... Let's fight already!" She hefted up her dummy flail, she obviously couldn't fly and hold her weapon, now could she? Her stance was rather strong, perfectly balanced with the lack of her left arm, the flail was spinning above her head. "My name's Karrie Mabelle, too bad you won't rembember it after i knock you out!" She said with much vigor behind her voice. She was a slight figure dressed in armor, a younger woman and probably didn't have much experience, well, neither did Rogus; in combat, in drinking he had plenty.
The woman rushed forward toward the half-blind, half disarmed thief in silence. Rogus readied his un-balanced training sword as she did, waiting for her to get just in reach to hit him with the flail, and side-stepped to the direction of his blind spot and swung down on the rider's flail's shaft. The training weapon smacked against the other, sending the ball and chain weapon downward. Karrie didn't have the extra strength of another hand to keep hold of the weapon, and it fell from her grasp. Rogus quickly attempted to bring the dummy sword in an upward arc to the woman's face.
I'm sorry lass, its a shame to ruin such a beautiful vision! he said as he made the attack. His taunts were as successful as his attack as the maiden dove to recover her flail and swiped the weapon out to hit Rogus's legs. It took the root from under the tree so to speak as Rogus was tripped by its chain, and he fell.
Karrie coninued her assault by jabbing at the thief's side as he landed. OUCH! he yelped as he was poked-- no, bashed by the ball on the end of the flail. He used the stab's force to roll away, and kicked his feet up to regain a foothold to the ground. Karrie did the same, but used her flail's shaft as leverage and hoisted herself up.
She was far slower doing this, and Rogus was already a step away as she looked up. She didn't see much but a flash of red and yellow as his sword immediately whacked her in the head. She was sent flying downward to the dirt, her weapon flying away. Rogus glanced down at her, placing the training sword on his shoulder, Do you yield milady? You've no weapon.
His question was answered by a shrill whistle from the woman. He looked at the captain for confirmation of what that meant. The pirate had shrugged before a whoosh of air blew behind him and the howl of a wyvern sounded before a scaly tail whacked the back of his head. He could just feel the scales as the meaty thunk of the contact made it to the ears of the watchers. He was effectively clothes-lined, and sent sprawling five feet from where he was standing.
What the... He rolled over and felt his head, and was just barely able to roll out of the way from the Wyvern landing on him. The girl laughed and led her wyvern in pursuit of the grounded thief. It pursued relentlessly until Rogus was able to fling dirt into is eye.
The beast howled in annoyance and scratched its face to rid the dirt. "HYAH! Fly Gust!" Karrie yelled, and the wyvern took off, but this time it had a passenger. Rogus clung to its tail, the beast swinging him around to get rid of the added weight. Due to the loss of vision and the un-welcomed new passenger, the beast flew erratically, causing Karrie to frantically readjust the flight path to stay within the fight area. Eventually she was able to calm the beast down and survey the field for her opponent.
"Huh? where is he?" Karrie asked in surprise. Rogus shimmied his way up the tail until he was able to sit behind Karrie, still unnoticed. He blew checked his nails and discovered one was broken from the ride.
Tch... Not very vigilant, are we milady? Look! I broke a nail! He comically put the arm undner her chest and placed the hand in front of her face. She cursed and tried to elbow the thief, but in the process let go of her reigns.
"YOU DOLT! UNHAND ME!" She screamed, and unnerved her wyvern. The beast, unsure of what to do, panicked and ended up in a crash course to the fight zone; Rogus still kept his hand over the maidens eyes, her elbow hardly able to do much damage, his arm blocked it from gaining any momentum, let alone hit him anywhere else. The wyvern screeched in horror as it saw the ground approaching rapidly, it couldn't pull up.
Thank you for using transit Nerehti, please have a nice day! Rogus let go, letting Karrie see the rapidly approaching earth seconds before the crash. She screamed her head off, and pulled the reigns hard to slow the descent, but it was far too late.
Please exit using the right side! We hope you've enjoyed the flight! Rogus laughed hysterically and rolled off the side, grabbing hold of the girl's shirt to take her with him. They landed with a thud and went into a roll as the wyvern managed to stop from hurting itself in the following rough landing. Had they still been on the beast, they'd have been thrown from the harness violently. The girl and the thief rolled to a stop with Rogus on top. He grinned at the dazed rider and winked.
I've always favored being in this position, and you? He was battered, but rather enthusiastic about the whole ordeal.
"You-- UGH!" She shoved him away, and went to see to her mount. Rogus stood and brushed his clothing off. His arm hurt, he might have landed on it rather poorly.
Do you yield now?
"Ugh... You arse! How dare you!" She huffed, and pet her wyvern, "YES! By the gods i hope you rot..." She turned and went to get a drink, and to get the foolish bindings and eyepatches off. Rogus did the same, and pet the wyvern as he passed, it growled angrily and flew away to where-ever the mounts were housed. The red thief approached the captain and grinned.
So how many drinks must one take if a wyvern crashes?
