Story: Burt was a young man born into a common family in Bern. His mother and father were bakers and made a decent living off the trade. When Burt was six he decided he wanted to become a Historian. He learned of the trade from a local historian who came from Lycia and decided that he wanted to do the same. As simple as the trade sounded it still required proper training for the task. Burt was going to need to apprenticeship under a historian if he wanted to enter the trade. At the tender age of Seven Burt's parents allowed him to travel with Cole, the Historian from Lycia, in order for him to apprentice himself under him. The day Burt left was the day his mother gave birth to twins.
For three years Burt studied under Cole. He learned how to read and write and began to write passages in a educated manner. During his training Burt learned that his parents had passed in a baking fire and that his younger brother and sister were left to his grandfather. Burt wanted to return home, but his master Cole would not allow it. Cole feared that the young boy would not return out of grief or obligation to his younger brothers. Burt was already too far into his training for him to simply leave. Burt remained Cole apprentice for the next ten years. Once he was officially indited into the guild Burt was allowed to roam freely. For the next two years he worked as a historian along side his old master as an equal till he received a notice that his younger brother had perished. Burt had missed their parents funeral and he was not going to miss his brothers. Burt set out from Lycia and returned to Bern.
