As Quick as Orcleous rushed out the door he jumped backwards back in. The spear stabbed into the wall as Orcleous rushed forward with a counter attack. The Mercenary slashed with his silver sword, but Obsidin blocked the blow with the shaft of his spear. The silver blade bit into the wood as Orcleous began to apply pressure.
"Holy crap we are under attack", shouted Tomas. The merchant was already starting to regret questioning Orcleous. As the two combatants struggled for dominance Tomas rushed forward and pressed against Orcleous back. The added force pushed the spear wielding pirate backwards giving Orcleous an opportunity. The mercenary rushed forward and swung his blade. The sword sliced clean through the shaft of Obsidin spear cutting the metal tip off in one clean motion.
"Crap", shouted Obsidin, but before he could finish the sentence Orcleous rushed forward and stabbed him in the chest with his blade. The silver sword sliced clean through the pirates light armor and ended his life in one shot.
"One down", spoke Orcleous ash he pushed Obsidin body off him. The man was huge in comparison to the smaller Orcleous. As Orcleous pushed him off another raider rushed forward in an attempt to catch the Mercenary off guard. He was instead blindsided by one of the caravan guards.
"Quick get outside and aid the guards", shouted Tomas as two of his men rushed up to him. Tomas men began to join the fight, but Tomas himself stayed inside the Inn where it was nice and safe.

Vicktaria watched over the destruction and carnage, his mad laugh echoing trough the streets. He stared to one of the inns, kicking the door down as he entered... Only to see Obsidins corpse, and the dark skinned mercenary. Vicktaria slowly furrowed his brow, staring to the man as he hacked his axe to the face of one of the guards. "I see you and Obsidin got to a tumble. I am... Surprised to see he fell."

"Jimmy", shouted one of the other guards as Vicktaria walked into the Inn. Thomas, seeing where this was going, retreated back into his room and bared the door. The merchant wanted no part of the fight to come. Orcleous on the other hand was ecstatic. He wanted a piece of Vicktaria and he was finally going to get his chance.
"Obsidin", spoke the mercenary. "I did not know sea rats had names? Well you won't be missing him much", spoke Orcleous as he stared into vick eye. He moved his body into the same stance he held earlier. "As you will be joining him soon. I should have cut you down back at the tavern", spoke Orcleous as he waited for Vick to make the first move.

"Boy, I'm not stupid. Obsidin was one of my oldest... I am not bothering time with you when killing you would just take too damn long." Vicktaria motioned to some of the looting pirates as they then leaped towards Orc, probably to keep him busy. "Enjoy the company. I'll return to my work." Vicktaria begun to cackle, leaving the tavern to continue his looting.

"Coward", shouted Orcleous as the pirates came down upon him. The mercenary side stepped one of the sea rats blows while the others were distracted by the other caravan guards. The man swung again, but Orcleous blocked the incoming axe with the edge of his blade. The two struggled for dominance for a moment before Orcleous redirected his force and side stepped him. The pirate stubble forward and Orcleous rushed forward after him. The mercenary swung his sword with a horizontal slash. He cut into the pirates side, but not deep enough to get a death wound. The pirate quickly retaliated with a slash of his own. The blade from his axe skimmed Orcleous armor and caused him to back up. The pirate rushed in trying to seal the deal, but Orcleous took the opportunity to slash open his midsection and end the duel.
It seemed that Vick was avoiding a straight up confrontation, which was a smart move. He and his men had the advantage at the moment, but if Orcleous or any of the guards could strike him down the battle would be over. "I am heading out after the leader", shouted Orcleous to the remaining caravan guards as they struggled against the pirates. Quickly Orcleous rushed out the door looking around for Vick.

Vicktaria whistled as he swung his axe around, gently strolling towards the bay as heads fell all around him. He slowly looked to his bloodied axe, letting out a laugh, and then returned to walking towards his ship, stopping to look at it with pride as his men slowly carried their loot to it.

Orcleous rushed out of the Inn and into the street. There he saw the guards fighting against the pirates. Unlike the militia of farmers and shopkeepers that fought the raiders last time the guards were holding up well. It seemed that Orcleous had better support this time around. The mercenary looked toward the port and saw Vicktaria walking toward his ship.
"Not this time", spoke Orcleous as he began to rush forward. The mercenary stopped for a moment an ran one of the pirates through from behind.
"Thanks", spoke the guard as he spit on the pirates corpse. "We should have listen to your banter back at the tavern", spoke the guard. It seemed that word got around about Orcleous and Vicktaria falling out just before the raid.
"Don't worry about it", spoke Orcleous. "Nothing can be done about it now. We need to rout these pirates and make them pay for attacking the village."
"Right", spoke the guard as he rushed forward and aided one of his brothers.
"Drive them too the sea", shouted Orcleous as he began to push forward through the streets. He was not going to let this opportunity pass him by. As Orcleous moved toward the docks he made an effort to cut down any pirate he saw carrying loot. He was not going to let them profit from this raid like last time.

Vicktaria turned around, seeing Orcleous coming towards him. He grunted as he drew his axe, looking around as he saw a large crate dangling from a rope, seemingly having been abandoned once the bloodshed started. He grinned, keeping his possition as he waited for the mercenary. "Come on then! Let's see if you bleed like the others!"

Orcleous began to force his way through the street. Orcleous made quick work of the raiders who were foolish enough to attack him while holding plunder. As the mercenary moved forward he saw Vicktaria calling to him. It seemed like the pirate was looking for a fight though it was quite weird considering his lack of intrest earlier when Orcleous was in the tavern. Still Orcleous could not pass up the opportunity.
"You will soon feel the bite of my blade", spoke Orcleous as he rushed forward. As the mercenary screamed he grabbed the attention of a guardsmen. The guard looked up and saw the mercenary charging forward and saw the crate hanging above.
"Hey kid look out", shouted the man.

Vicktaria grinned as he waited for the mercenary, suddenly throwing his axe into the air as it swung and cut the rope. He grinned once more, cackling deeply.
Back at the ship, Vickon sipped some of the captured ale as he watched towards the docks. "What's taking you so long, father..."

As Orcleous charged forward he heard the guardsman fro behind. The young swordsman paused for a moment and looked at. At that moment the crate smashed into the ground stopping inches before hitting Orcleous.
"Whoa", spoke Orcleous as he looked up at the rope. It soon became clear to him Vicktaria's intention. "That cowardly welp", spoke Orcleous as he pulled himself back onto his feet. The mercenary began to look around for any more hanging crates or other surprises as he began to move forward. However in truth that create had taken a lot of nerve out of the young swordsman. Every move he made was hesitant as he moved around the docks. He was not sure if there was another trap waiting to be sprung.
"Don't let them get to the ship", shouted the Guard Captain as he came around the corner and maid it to the main street.

Vicktaria grunted in anger as his trap had failed. He looked at the man, letting out a sigh as he spoke. "Boy, do not make me kill you... Would be a shame to rid the world of such a swordsman." He spat onto the ground, slowly growing a mad grin. "Although it will be one damned fine tumble... If you are that stupid."

"Kill me", spoke Orcleous as he regained his nerve. "Please, you can't kill me. No, not a coward like you. Since this confrontation started you have been avoiding me. Even after I killed your son and called him a sea rat you did not fight me. You are afraid of me", spoke Orcleous as he tighten his grip on his blade. "You are afraid of what my blade can do. So stop your useless stalling and show me what your axe can do", spoke Orcleous as he fixed his posture.
The mercenary was now sure that Vick would come after him. This was the moment of truth. If he could defeat Vick he could end the attack and pay him back for staining his honor as a mercenary. He could finally pay him back for making him flee for his life from that village. Most importantly he could pay him back for the maiden. The maiden he killed no further than a arms reach away. If everything else did not happen Orcleous would have to kill him for that alone. The helplessness he felt in that situation was far beyond the shame from being forced to flee or the weight of being hunted. Orcleous wanted this fight; no Orcleous needed this fight.

Vicktaria grinned, not moving an inch as he just kept his axe ready. "It's going to be you who is going to either charge forwards or retreat. I can stand here for all day, and just wait for the rest of my crew to return here." He swung his axe around in the air in a taunting manner. "What is it going to be, boy?"

"Very well", spoke Orcleous as he prepared himself to charge. Orcleous preferred to allow his enemies to come to him, but taking the initiative was not strange to him. The mercenary rushed in ready to clash with the big man. To start off the duel Orcleous swung his blade with a horizontal slash aiming to cut Vicktaria across his stomach. A few months ago he would probably have used a vertical one, which would have been easily dodged and left him in a vulnerable position on his flanks. Rather than leave himself open for a quick counter he chose to swing horizontally. It was not as powerful a swing as swinging down, but was a lot harder to counter.
